Forgiving Everything

I forgive everything and everyone, including myself.
The work of those who are willing is to forgive all miscreations.
Since we are co-creators of the world we see, it behooves us to undo whatever is not true and loving.
Since we do not know what is and what isn’t obviously true and loving, to forgive it all is effective.
Forgiveness is erasing the false and perceiving the blessings with gratitude.

Life is for giving.  We are the gifts here to be truly helpful.
We are here to clear the way to see the beauty, the goodness and the holiness.
We are here to love with trust and freedom one another.
We are here to live at peace and in joy with all that is.

Life gives us the opportunity to choose.
We can believe in the world we see and keep patching it up.
We can undo everything that is not wholly true and good for all.
We can create with spiritual vision and inspiration what we want to be.

I so appreciate the opportunity to forgive and instantly see and feel its effectiveness.
I feel blessed that I am able and willing to clear away the false and choose again for the true.
I am joyous that I can so easily choose for what I want, the peace of God, and experience it now.
I know that we are here to play our perfect part and full enjoy the benefits of abundant giving.

Create the good you want to see and be by releasing what is not and choosing what can be.
Loving us all in our willingness,  Betty Lue

Summer Fun

Do something different!
Novelty keeps us awake and engaged.
Doing something new opens our minds to curiosity.
Take a vacation from the ordinary into extraordinary.

Sit in all the different chairs in your home.
View your environment from different viewpoints.
See your home from diverse perspectives.
You may well be surprised by how much fun you can have!

Walk around your yard and look for everything you have not seen before.
Appreciate new growth, the different colors of green, the unique textures of each tree and plant.
Sniff the air wherever you are and notice the subtle scents from fragrant to stinky.
(I love to crunch different leaves in my hand and smell their unique scents.)Notice the changing temperatures as you walk past really warm trees and gardens.

Have you watched the light changes as the sun rises and sets.?
The colors change almost magically in the sky and on the earth.
Have you tried getting up early and swimming in the lake?
Have you noticed how it feels to get up in the middle of the night and walk outside?

What new foods have you tried lately?
Are you willing to go to a market and explore the produce section?
You can go online to find recipes and suggestions for everything?
Be adventuresome with your palette.

When was the last time you visited a small town?
Can you smile at people you never met before?
Are you willing to talk to folks like you at neighbors?
Can you give a little extra thanks and appreciation to those who serve you?

Would you be willing to pay for the person behind you at a toll booth?
Could you place your tip money into the hands of your server with a smile?
How about trying out a new nail polish or haircut style?
Have you ever tried just eating summer fruit for one of your meals?

Do you ever look for local produce, farmer’s market or go to the grower’s farm?
Have you considered planting your own tomatoes or ??? in a planter box or hanging pot?
Are you willing to grow a potato vine or an avocado seed right in your own kitchen?
And how about sprouts grown and harvested in your own home?
Fruit leather is easy to make with simply drying.

Summer is a great time to try something new.
Wake up an hour early…before the sun rises.
Take a walk before it gets warm outside.
Create a good morning stretching and affirmation ritual.
Make up a song of gratitude and love for all the Good in life.
Make a point of greeting everyone you encounter with a smile.
It is love, gratitude and enthusiasm that makes our lives worthwhile.

Loving you and me and the WE we are in Love,
Betty Lue

Be Natural

Being true to you comes with the territory.
Only when we learn to listen to others, do we stray away from what comes naturally.
Organic is to honor what is natural, easy fun and safe.
Each organism does what is in their best interest, except when led by others’ rules, beliefs and authority.

Who is the author of your life?
Who have you given the power of authority for you?
Who do you listen to and honor more than yourself?
When did you step away from being natural, innocent and trusting of your own instincts?

When tired, take a rest or a nap.
When hungry, eat but only what you need to be satisfied….not stuffed.
When thirsty, drink what quenches your thirst…usually fresh water.
When confused, step away from complexity and find clarity within.

When sad, cry or be quiet.
When angry, work it out or express without offense.
When lonely, talk to someone, write or share yourself.
When full of joy, share it and bring happiness to others.

To be as a child is to be natural and innocent.
To be as a child is to trust your inner wisdom.
To be as a child is to see in nature the way to self care.
To be as a child is to let go of adulteration and conformity.

Being natural may mean changing your persona, your behaviors and your image.
Being natural may mean begin alone and in silence and being gregarious and social.
Being natural may mean playing dress up or playing by yourself.
Being natural is remembering to always respond to yourself and your needs with LOVE and TRUST.

Give yourself the opportunity to flow with life rather than follow others’ schedules.
Give yourself the freedom to express what is in your heart, rather than always meet others expectations.
Give yourself the respect to look deeper than the surface for origin of emotions, desires and vision.
Give yourself the trust to listen within to what is really the calling of your heart.

You can take a vacation for just one day a month to step aside from the regimented world.
You deserve a break from the adulterations of the sophisticated world to find your own naturalness.
You can find a place to be and ways to express and how to live your way only when you let go.
You are at your best only when you live a life full of enthusiasm, curiosity, gratitude and joy in being.

I am loving you and encouraging you to be naturally you.
Remember what wonder life brings when you bring naturalness to your life.

Loving us all!

Happy Independence Day!

O Beautiful for Spacious Skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties,
Above the fruited plain.
America, America,
God shed His Grace on Thee
And Crown Thy Good
With Brotherhood
 From sea to shining sea.

Have you fully appreciated your country today?
Just as on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we give full appreciation for all they have given,
today is the perfect reminder day to celebrate, appreciate and contribute to our country.
How can you celebrate and honor the land where you live and work and play and learn?

Take a drive through the countryside and appreciate the beauty you see.
Look around your yard and enjoy the flowers, the grass, the trees.
Take a walk around the block or to a park and be grateful you can do it safely.
Look at the plentiful produce and foods at the grocery story and say, ‘Thanks!”.

Appreciation increases the Good we have.
Appreciation opens the way to enjoy more.
Appreciation brings positive energy.
Appreciation attracts more of the same.

What can you do to contribute to the Goodness, the liberties and bounty, you have in this country?Pick up litter wherever you are and recycle to preserve the land.
Obey the laws and be respectful to those who serve to keep our nation safe and secure.
Work  and pay your taxes on time and with gratitude, giving you can without resentment..
Vote in every election for the most conscientious candidate and issue consistent with your values.

·      Come enjoy the countryside.·      Drive to places of unspeakable beauty.·      Breathe in the fresh air·      Swim in clear waters.·      Plant seeds for beauty and plentiful harvest.·      Climb a mountain.·      Visit a state or local park.·      Watch for wildlife.·      Talk to ancient trees.·      Learn the names of wildflowers.·      Sing a song of praise for the beauty you see.

This land is your land.
This land is my land.
From California
To the New York Island.
From the redwood forests.
To the gulfstream waters.
This land was made for you and me.

Yippee!
Loving you,  Betty Lue

Freedom and Responsibility

True Freedom Comes with Real Responsibilities
True Freedom is realized only when you are responsible for everything you experience.
True Freedom is for those who love and trust the Good in themselves and All.
True Freedom requires consciousness, willingness, courage and Higher Vision.

What would it take for you to be free?
Are you ready and able to take on the responsibilities?
Are you aware of the natural consequences of your mistakes?
Do you realize how much we are all called to step up and into responsibility for the Good of All?

This country was founded on faith.
Are you faith-filled?
Our forefathers envisioned liberty and justice for all?
Can you foresee today and everyday how to impart freedom and justice for everyone?

Freedom without responsibility, rules and structure is chaos.
Restriction without justice, fairness and respect for all is tyranny.
Responsibility without freedom can seem like martydom and sacrifice.
Responsibility and freedom feels expansive, open and trusted.

To be ready, one must be self aware.
To be self aware, one must know and respect oneself.
To know and respect oneself, there must be self trust, self confdence and love for oneself.
To truly love oneself, all mistakes and past experiences must be forgiven.

When we become aware from personal experience that all mistakes are learning opportunities, we trust that others are learning as well from natural consequences.
When we are trusting of the lessons life provides, we can allow everyone, including ourselves to enjoy the experiences that come from freedom.

Even the greatest among us has made errors and learned.
Even the wisest among us has been ignorant at times.
Even the strongest among us has been weak.
Even the most loving has had moments of fear and lack of faith.

Here we are capable, willing and conscious enough to choose our life path.
Be willing to step into the unknown of freedom and have faith.
Be open to allowing others to learn from the consequences of their actions.
Be trusting that as we love ourselves well, we are able to respond to all that comes in life.

I invite us all to celebrate this land of unlimited possibility and abundant opportunity.
Step forward in freedom and faith, actualizing your highest vision and learning from everything.
Life is miraculous, sacred and abundant when we learn to accept all responsibility and go for it!
Trusting our journey with joy, gratitude, trust and freedom.

Loving Us All,

Betty Lue

Do It Anyway
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy it all overnight.
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

Reminder Days

Special days are reminders days.
Special people offer special reminders.
Special moments give us wakeup calls.
Special events help us remember what to cherish.

Today is my Mom’s birthday. July 2, 1921
Today is the birthday of our spiritual relationship (Robert and myself).
(The date exactly half way between our birthdates.)
This is no accident. “Everything is an on purpose.”
The opportunity to awaken and feel blessed is everywhere in everything and everyone.
We could be celebrating miracles every moment if we were fully alive and in love.
There is no lack of anything we value and no limitation that keeps us from our vision.
What we perceive is a result of our selective remembering and unconscious thoughts we hold.

Over the years I have written thousands of affirmations for myself and for others.
Affirmations are loving reminders specifically written to erase false beliefs and illusions.
I have a little book of affirmations I wrote in 1978 and affirmation cards available for purchase.
I have my own deck of affirmations I wrote about 20 years ago which I occasionally return to.

Ask yourself why not create your own AFFIRMATIONS specifically suited to remember?
Why not create relationships which keep you in touch with what you want to believe?
Why not live a life daily that reminds you how valuable you are and appreciates YOU?
Why not carry around in your wallet, car, purse or bathroom mirror words that affirm You?

Are you so unimportant that you can afford to neglect yourself?
Are you so lazy that you cannot take the time and make the effort?
Is your life so insignificant that you really don’t matter to you?
Or are you ready, willing and able to do what it takes to see you are SPECIAL?

I have a very special life with special people and special moments and special events!
Only because I have chosen them all and celebrate them all with full appreciation.

I have given my life and everyone in it meaning….positive, beneficial, blessed meaning.
I have chosen to relinquish fear, judgment and attack, because I choose to be happy and in love.

You can too!
Everyday in everyway with everyone, seek to perceive the gift the blessing.
Say “thank you Goodness” and appreciate every bit of light and love, joy and freedom you can find!
Affirm with positive thoughts and positive pictures, positive words and positive reminders.
Be the Good you want to see today!

Let’s get free together and fully love one another.
Betty Lue

My affirmations for the day:I joyfully walk in this world realizing the Remembrance of Love is our soul purpose here.
I live, play and work with elegant ease and a lighthearted spontaneity

Leaving Too Early?

Are you slow to let go?
Do you cling to the past?
Do you love challenges?
Do you stay too long?
             Or
Do you quit when things get tough?
Do you forget about the good in yesterday?
Do you avoid pain, challenge and work?
Are you willing to Love no matter what?

People learn to leave too soon when they want to avoid the work in relationships.
People may look for reasons and excuses to quit on what may be disappointing or difficult.
People may try relationships to see if others will quit on them and prove themselves right.
The ego seeks to replicate its past experiences to prove the beliefs it made up.

When a relationship is complete, lessons learned, appreciation given and received, we will move on.
If we leave before we have taken responsibility fully for our part in the misunderstandings and lack of trust, we will be incomplete and most certainly experience a similar in the future.

Life is not just a random happening, but rather a self-chosen plan formulated to expand our consciousness, our willingness to fully participate and take responsibility for our creative mind.

When we can see our own choices in thoughts, imaginings, emotions, reactions and responses as our own, we are conscious, clear, and at choice.
When we continue to view the world as happening to us, victims of others whims and failings, we continue to stay at the effect, confused and fearful.

To step into responsibility requires that we own fully what we choose to think and say and do, recognizing that everything has power.  Everything teaches others….even our silence and secrets.
To be responsible means we can see what is as it is without the distortion of emotionality.
To be responsible means we are able to respond in a healing and loving way to every act of lack.
To be responsible means that we love, trust and respect ourselves first and choose always peace.
To be responsible means we are willing to do what is highest and best for all concerned always.
To be responsible means that we care to leave every relationship and situation complete with blessing.
To be responsible means that we do not leave any relationship in fear, anger, blame or guilt.
To be responsible means we keep our word, assume nothing, give our best and take nothing personally.
To be responsible means we see that life’s happenings come  as we have called them to wake up.

I love us as we continue to mature in our willingness to take responsibility and stay until we are complete.
Peace is the key.
When we are peaceful with appreciation for all that is and was, we are complete.
Loving us all,

Betty Lue

LOVEThere is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

 It makes no difference
how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.

True Empathy

When there is a need or a problem, how can you be most helpful?
Be at peace.
When there is a perceived danger or tragedy, how can offer the greatest kindness?
Be at peace.
When there is hardship or hunger, how can you be of service?
Be at peace.

Be at peace and trust in the highest outcome.
Be at peace and know all is well.
Be at peace and see everyone learning.
Be at peace and seek the gifts and blessings.

When someone is afraid, they need reassurance.
Be at peace.
When someone is angry, they need to be heard.
Be at peace.
When someone is argumentative, they need to be honored.
Be at peace.
When someone is sick, they need comfort.
Be at peace.
When someone is confused, they need clarity.
Be at peace.
When someone is lost, they need direction.
Be at peace.
When someone is in trouble, they need integrity.
Be at peace.

True empathy is being willing to be the conscious one who seeks peace first.
True empathy is releasing judgments and seeing the healing and wholeness.
True empathy is seeking the potential good in all situations.
True empathy is listening both inside and outside to voices for love.
True empathy is trusting everything always works more exquisitely than we can plan.
True empathy is learning to let go of negative perceptions, hurtful words and fearful reactions.
True empathy is seeing beyond appearances and choosing to see the Light.

When in relationship at home or at work, there needs to be a consistent voice of sanity and healing.
There is always a call for love, trust and freedom in every situation where there is fear.
Everything that is not Love is always a call for Love, trust and freedom.
Wherever you see a Lack of Love and Trust, you are being called to be the One.

Empathy may involve feeling the fear, confusion and pain.
True empathy is then bringing yourself back to Peace and Trust and Love.
The healing and helpful Presence is the one who can return to Love and see only Wholeness.
The conscious One is always You who are reading this reminder.

Choose now to be the One and Be at Peace!
Know All is Well.
Trust everything always works together for Good.

Betty Lue

From A Course in Miracles
Love is the answer, whatever the question.
Trust will settle every problem now.
Forgiveness offers everything we want.
There is nothing to do.
What Are these Loving Reminders?
Many people around the world are now receiving these daily or weekly loving reminders from me.
I send them directly to over one thousand people and many more from your referrals.
I have been writing and sending Loving Reminders for over 11 years everyday I am at my computer.
They are valuable for me to receive and share and valuable for others who receive them as reminders.
When something resonates with you, you feel its truth in your heart. When you are reminded of what you know deep inside, you appreciate and find value. When you are touched with inspiration, you feel grateful and can choose to practice.
This is my reason for listening within and sharing the inner guidance I receive each day.
After counseling and coaching thousands of individuals, couples and families, I know the need. After teaching, mentoring and facilitating hundreds of people for the last 35 years, I hear the call. After listening and letting Spirit within guide my life for most of my life, I feel the importance. And this is my way of responding to all of us for the Highest Good and finding a better way.
These reminders are intended to be practical; they are meant to be used everyday.
These reminders are intended to be inspirational; they are meant to move you into action.
These reminders are intended to be spiritual; they are meant to call you to return to what is meaningful.
These reminders are intended to be healing; they give insight, freedom to choose/change and peace.

For many, there is limited time and money, so these reminders offer help when you have need.
For some, there is hesitation in asking for help, so these reminders are an anonymous way to learn.
For others, there is denial of needing anything, and the reminders simply reawaken what is known.
For me, these reminders are a powerful way to connect, to touch you with my love for us all.
Yes, I Love You.I love you when you are happy or sad, right or wrong, awakening or sleeping on the job.
I love you when you don’t love yourself or forget you are loveable and capable just as you are.
I love you when you are willing to do the work and when you get lazy and quit on yourself.

I am your Loving Reminder. We can call it a Calling or Holy Assignment or just what I am here to do.
My intention is to facilitate all of us in playing our Part and living our potential in being all we can be.Said in a thousand ways or no way at all…your healing and success and joy are a blessing for me.
So why would I sit at my computer every morning as my spiritual practice and joy…….??
Because of all this above and so much more.
You and I are One..More than you can know, we are connected in Love.
Ask me your questions.
Give me your comments.
Share with me your gratitude.
And always know I am with you in Love.

Now Is Your Time!

You can wait, delay and paralyze yourself with excuses, regrets, blame and resentment.
But you cannot blot out the vision, calling, inspiration and invitation to awaken and live fully.
This is your time to choose what you would have your life be.
This is your time to relinquish the past and let yourself be free.

What would life look like for you if you lived fully and freely?
Where would you go and what would you do if you allowed yourself?
Who would be your friends and associates and how would you live and love and give?
Are you willing to begin today, knowing first and foremost, THIS IS YOUR TIME!

Much of counseling is to focus on understanding, healing and clearing the past.
And yet, the past is gone.
Much of coaching is figuring out how you want to live and give in the future.
And yet the future is yet to come.

Today you can be who and how you are called to be.
You can choose in every relationship to be new again.
You can set aside childish ways and foolish habits.
You can free yourself from the excuses you have used for a lifetime.

Now is Your Time,
Today is Your Day.
This is Your Life.
You are the One.

Start by simply awakening this and every moment with “ I am glad to be here, right here!”Affirm your own gratitude for being YOU with “I love, trust and appreciate my whole Self.”Acknowledge past mistakes with simple forgiveness “I forgive everyone, including myself.”Be willing to step into the unknown, the space of openness and willingness to be here now.
“I am always in the right place at the right time doing the right thing for the right reason.”Trust that your life is on path, a Source of learning, loving and contributing right now.
“I am willing to give my very best to everyone as I remember the Love I Am.”Miracles happen wherever there is trust, freedom and love.
I give and receive the miracles of love and the blessings of trust and freedom to all.”Appreciate the abundant gifts of peace, love and joy when you remember to Love.
“Life is fun, safe and easy when I listen within and follow the path of Love.”

You are the One and Now is Your Time.
Wake up sleepy head. Abundant Life awaits!

We Are Never Alone

When we believe in the world of form as the only reality, we miss inner connection.
When we think what we can see is all there is, we miss what is not seen and heard.
When we judge that our existence is only based on what we do and say, we lose our value.
When we claim that only our history matters and is our legacy, we miss the significance of life.

The Remembrance of Love is our Soul Purpose. We can joyfully walk in this world realizing we are here to remember Love no matter what.
When we seek only for love, for union, for Oneness, we find all that we seek with everyone.
When we are sure there is fear, separation, loss, lack and limitation, we find what we seek.

Our Soul, our higher Self, our Authentic Self, the original Self, continues to awaken us to Truth.
The Love in us cannot be defeated, dissolved, denied or ended even in death of the body.
Love prevails. Love never ends.  Love cannot die.
Love is the ecstasy of union and the energy of creation.

We are never alone.
Wherever we go, there we are.
Wherever we are, there is the beloved.
Whatever we do, we are in communion.

We can believe we are separate and feel lonely.
We can travel to find something more or better, but we always meet ourselves.
We can judge, fear and criticize and see what we fear and hate and hold separate from ourselves.
We can try to be alone, to disconnect, disavow and denegrate, but in Truth we know only Union.

The unifying field of all that is holds us connected and always in relationship with what appears to be.
From the inner, we perceive the outer to be whatever we judge.
When we judge ourselves unworthy, unloveable and incapable, we are right.
When we forgive our judgments and see ourselves as worth, loveable and capable, we are right.

It is in our inner world that we make up the perceptions we hold and strengthen them in righteousness.
In our clearing our false beliefs and negative perceptions, we free ourselves to choose again.
In the looking glass of life, the face of all humanity, we see ourselves with both flaws and perfection.
We are here to love it all as we let go of fear, judgment and avoidance.

When you are ready and willing to forgive your judgements of all apparent flaws in everyone, you will open your heart to fully unconditional and unlimited love.  In the moment of loving it all, you will behold there is no separation, no distance, no lack, no limitation, only Union, perfect Union and oneness with all.
Life is an opportunity to clear the separation, the isolation and experience true intimacy.
When I can let you see into me without fear, knowing I am safe in your Love, I will know Union.
Intimacy= “into me see” And so it is I can see into you knowing I will love you no matter what!

Loving us all as One,
Betty Lue

Our Soul Purpose

The Remembrance of Love is our Soul Purpose here.
We cannot remember what we choose to forget.
Listening to the voices for Love, Kindness and Gratitude is our path.
Following those who teach with fear, ignorance and hatred renders us deaf.

What voices are you listening to?

Do you listen to those who label, belittle and give death sentences?
Or do you listen to the voice for God and Good in your life?

Are you judging your whole self based on the condition of your body, your finances, your family?
Or are you seeing yourself as a whole and holy being who is here to share the Love you are?

The word and the vibration of sound is seen as the origin and the beginning of all that seems to be.
The power of prayer acknowledges the healing power of the infinite, the All knowing One.
The teaching power of our educators responds to the voice of those who have knowledge and wisdom.
The directive power of those in authority from the pulpit and the military comes with their commandments.

Are you listening to the loudest voice?
The most peaceful voice?
The voice of authority?
The sounds backed up by research or educational degree?

Do you listen to the little children?
The man who is homeless and on the streets?
Do you listen to the soldier who gave life and limb for his country?
Do you hear the tears, the passion, the fears or the sincerity of conviction?

Do you listen to the winds in the forest?
The waves in the ocean and the calls of the birds?
Do you hear the calling of nature and bountiful mother earth?
What do you hear when you listen?

What is your Soul Purpose here?
Do you listen for drama and neediness, urgency and pain?
Do you listen for peace and prosperity, vision and possibility?
Are you listening with your heart or your head, your Spiritual vision or human history?

Where we focus our attention, we attract to ourselves.
Where we give energy, we infuse with power and increase.
Where we deny power, we diminish its value.
When we do not feed, we turn away and seek the Truth.

Turn a deaf ear on what you do not want to hear.
Turn away from voices that demand attention like a tantruming child.
Turn away from those who would sell you their hypocrisy.
Turn away from those who want to win at the expense of others.

Listen to the voice for Love.
Listen to the voice for Peace.
Listen to the voices for Generosity, Kindness, Joy, Open-Mindedness,
Gentleness, Tolerance, Trust, Faithfulness, Honesty, Patience.
It is your choice as to whom and for what you listen.

I choose to listen to the Voice for Goodness and Love.
And so it is that I feel Good and Loved.
Betty Lue
The Two Wolves
A Cherokee elder was teaching his grandchildren about life.
He said to them, “A fight is going on inside me… it is a terrible fight between two wolves.
One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, hatefulness, and lies.
The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, humbleness, kindness, friendship, generosity, faith, and truth.
This same fight is going on inside of you, and inside every other person, too.”
The children thought about it for a minute. Then one child asked his grandfather,
“Which wolf will win?”
The Cherokee elder replied
“The one you feed.”

Are You Listening?

To what and to whom do you listen?
Do you take the time to screen for the voices, messages and music you want to hear?
Are you willing to be the one who chooses what you listen to?
Can you forgive, erase, delete the messages that upset, confuse, deny your worth?

We have been programmed by the auditory, visual and kinesthetic messages we have received.
We have allowed them to impact our beliefs, our values, our behaviors and our self esteem.
We have often believed ourselves to be what we have heard and seen and felt from others.
We have taken in the good, the bad and the ugly, often without discernment or selective awareness.

When we choose to be conscious and empowered, we choose what we listen to and for.
When we have decided to be successful and fulfilled, we choose what we want to seek and find.
When we imagine there can be a better way to live, we choose to listen only for the affirming voices.
When we become, picky, selective, sensitive and discerning, we will select what supports our values.

Visual learners need to perceive positive, helpful, strong and affirming images and sights.
Kinesthetic learners need to feel good, with strengthening, energy enhancing and balanced experiences.
Auditory learners need to select affirming words and loving sounds to listen to.
We are all learning to ingest the best and forget the rest.
Most people believe they have no choice.
They listen to hypnotic commercials, hateful humor, dysfunctional communications and violent news.
When we ingest the worst food, we get  physically sick.
When we listen to awful words, we think sick and experience mental distress.
When we allow abusive experiences, we feel sick, and experience emotional dis-ease.
When we watch harmful programs and violence, we fear and defend ourselves against being hurt.

What we take in, we take on.
What we fear, we empower.
What we look for, we will find.
What we perceive, we strengthen in ourselves.

Listen to the silence.
Listen to the wind.
Listen to the sounds of nature.
Listen to the voice of Love within you.

There is healing when you turn your mind to Goodness and God.
There is creativity when you turn your focus to beauty and Love.
There is enjoyment when you turn your emotions to happy choices.
There is peace when you turn to the single focus of the Highest Truth.

Listen for what you truly want to hear.
Let the rest go and it will dissolve in your inattention.
Loving us all into conscious choice,
Choose what you want to hear.

To Be Your Best

To be your best, you need to have a role model, an idea of what the “best” can be.
To be your best, you need to have the willingness to do what is takes to keep learning and improving.
To be your best, you need to pay attention to “mistakes” and “failures” without regret or blame.
To be your best, you need to enjoy the process of learning and growing in the process of mastery.

The best leaders have been well led and have learned to lead themselves well.
The best counselors and therapists have been well counseled and counsel themselves well.
The best coaches have been well coached and coach themselves well with thoughts and words.
The best parents have been well parented and parent themselves well in their everyday life.

The best housekeepers have a picture in their mind of how to create order and organization.
The best teachers have experienced quality teaching and know clearly how they like to be taught.
The best cooks have learned from someone who cooks well and they enjoy cooking well.
The best athletes have admired and observed excellence and so aspire to be excellent.

We are imprinted by our family of origin and those in early childhood, as well as others along the way.
We hold a picture, a vision in our imagination, of what can be when we do what we need to do to succeed.
We must keep faith (confidence) with ourselves and be willing to do the self-correcting work to improve.
We need to let go easily of failure with forgiveness and learning from everyone and everything.

When we seek our “best”, we need to look for, observe and admire others being their best.
We must release judgment and comparison to fully embrace and learn from everyone.
The practice ground is always within our own personal world, with family and friends, and ourselves.
We must consistently focus, practice, explore and appreciate what works to achieve excellence.

Mistakes are opportunities to learn and grow.
They must be embraced with open-mindedness and appreciation.
Negative role models can be effective teachers when we affirm the positive gifts received.
Helping others be their best always strengthens us and we learn how to be better from others.

Forgiveness and acceptance of others values and standards of living comes from recognizing we all have learned from our past.
Simply trying to achieve a better way is a step beyond the limited imprinting of our past.
Lifting ourselves into seeing what can be improved is a valuable step to living our potential.
Appreciating others in their constant improvement and learning enhances and strengthens ours.

To be your best, be willing.
To be your best, be open.
To be your best, be appreciative
To be your best, enjoy the journey.

Your potential is truly unlimited.
Being my best is fun, safe and easy.

What Is Your Concern?

In response to a question…….
Do you try to keep others from making mistakes?
Do you interfere when others are communicating or relating in a style different than yours?
Do you worry about what to say or how to help others handle their problems?
Do you think you know what is best for others to do

What is your business?
Do you want others meddling in your choices, mistakes, embarrassments?
Do you want your family telling, suggesting, advising you when there is an upset?
Do you like it when others give you helpful and well-meaning but unsolicited comments?

When aware of another’s issues with finances, job, health, etc, what is your concern? When is it your business?
Is it helpful to ask why?
Does it bring clarity and peace to get involved?
Do your fears, your experiences, your beliefs help or hurt, clarify or confuse?

Consider being a good therapist, consultant, or coach.
Wait until asked…specifically and clearly.
Set a time with privacy as well as mutually agreed upon beginning and ending time.
Ask exactly what is wanted from you: to just listen, to ask questions, to give feedback, to advise?
Respect your need for compensation: thanks, mutual opportunities for you, respecting your help, etc.

Stay out of other’s business until invited to help.Usually we learn best from natural consequences.
People need to experience the outcome of their choices without outside interference, threats or advise.
And only give the help that is needed and wanted.

Set a time that provides confidentiality and uninterrupted room for the help.Respect yourself and the other by giving your full attention to the request.
When we set aside a special time which is ideal for both parties, it gives credibility to the experience.
An appointed hour creates a focus, an agenda and a desired outcome of completion,

Ask what is wanted so that there is fulfillment and success for both parties. Many people simply want to be heard which means to just listen fully.
Some may want feedback or advice when they are complete.
Therapists and coaches are taught to ask meaningful questions and provide guidance and direction.

Respect the need for reciprocity, both giving and receiving by both parties. When we allow others to use us and dump their toxic waste on us, we become the dumping ground.
When compensated with respect, gratitude and generosity, we feel satisfied with our helpfulness.
Allow others to have their experience and receive the gifts and blessings from their life choices.

We are all connected.
Everyone’s healing benefits us all.
However, it is not helpful to meddle in others learning opportunities.
So respect, accept and attend the sensitivity of others’ life journey.

Loving us all as one,

Betty Lue

You Are A Flower in the Garden of Life

If you would grow to be your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing & punishing

For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is tough as war
Yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies
But we open fully only to warmth & light
And our need to grow is fragile as a fragrance
Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still

So accept, respect,
Attend your sensitivity

A flower
Cannot be opened
With a hammer

Summer Solstice

Brief Update:This week we are with our three preschool grandchildren, 5 yr. old twins Harper and Lila and their 3 ½  yr.old brother Beckett, here at the Lake House. (see website ReunionLakeHouse.org for details). Constant attention for sure and lots of fun and learning for us all.  Important to stay fully present, conscious, connected and in communication. Some activities, boating and fishing, swimming and beach, exploring (lots of deer and birds), creeks and hills and rocks to climb, pony-riding, library, art work, writing books with stories about our activities and learning to help us with our everyday chores: cooking, setting table, making beds, laundry, etc.  Important to let children learn what is needed in life for happiness and success. (See below.)
Last Monday’s trip and fall: Thanks to you and me and my body’s cooperation, everything is healed and ready to GO.  One left over is a purple eye lid which can be camouflaged as eye shadow. My one and only accident reminded me how effective conscious thought and affirming prayer truly can be.  It is essential that we erase quickly our self judgment and fear and return to being clear about the healing capacity of the body/mind connection.  I thank you all! Betty Lue

Summer Solstice
Light, Light and More Light.
Love, Love and More Love.

When our minds are filled with Light, we see only Light.
When our hearts are full of Love, we know only Love.
The work is always to shine a light on all darkness and to Love away all fear.
We are here as light workers and love bearers, and so it is that we have come.

Consider the possibility during times of the greatest light, summer solstice, we can see what is needed.
Consider the opportunity to perceive the seeming difficulties in life as a sign we are ready and able to clear the fear and enlighten any ignorance.
Consider the choice to enhance and appreciate ourselves as we step into willingness to do the work needed.
Appreciate yourself for being here to lift the veil of judgment and fear by being happy, loving and free.

You may not have seen yourself as empowered, capable and willing.
You may not have wanted to be the helpful and healing Presence.
You may not have consciously asked to show up to do the work.
But wherever you are and whatever life has brought to you, you can do the work and heal it all.

Healing requires revelation or revealing where the errors and misperceptions lie.
Healing asks us to take responsibility for undoing any untruth and limiting beliefs.
Healing invites us to clean up the past with forgiveness and release to the Highest Good.
Healing encourages us to stand up for what is highest and best for all, to live our Truth.

What is your Truth?
How can you live more in integrity?
Can you step into a willingness to do what is needed>
Are you open to be the One, the point man, to light the way to Love?

Yes, I am willing.
The past is gone.
I choose to live in Love today.
I am free and unlimited, when I remember Love.

Loving you and rolling up my sleeves to clear away the clutter, confusion, darkness and fear in my world!

Father’s Day

Fathers represent those in our lives who protect and provide. When our fathers have not protected and provided well, forgive them.
When they have not been adequately protected and provided for by their fathers, they may not know how.
When they have not been nurtured and nourished by their mothers, they may not become mature adults.

It is our responsibility now to teach our sons by our example how to be a good Father.
It is our responsibility to nurture and nourish, protect and provide for our sons.
When prior generations have failed to model good parenting, it is ours to do.
When our children are neglected and mistakenly imprinted, it is ours to correct.

We cannot correct the past with criticism.
We can right wrongs done by doing what is right.
We can educate the ignorant.
We can forgive them, for they did not know what they were doing.

Fathers also represent our forefathers, the visionaries and leaders who saw a better way.
They deserve our appreciation and willingness to listen, to bless and to utilize all their best.
Those who have envisioned and created, those who protected and provided, deserve our gratitude.
Let us today be open-minded and look for the Good, the Gifts and the Blessings, in those who serve.

When we celebrate the Good, the Good is increased.
When we acknowledge our blessings, the blessings expand.
When we remember what is helpful and healing, we encourage more of  what we value.
When we honor our fathers, the men in our lives, we nurture the best in them in every way.

When you look for good memories, you will find them.
When you seek what you value, you will see it in yourself and others.
When you want to be the light sharing the gratitude you feel, you inspire others to do better.
When you undo, forgive and erase all that is not healthy, whole and loving, you make room for the Good.

Father’s Day is a gift to ourselves.
Father’s Day is an opportunity to practice our spirituality.
Father’s Day open us to be appreciative and affirming.
Father’s Day presents us with the gift of remembering the Good, the Beautiful and the Holy.

We are here to heal the past darkness, ignorance and pain.
We are here to reveal the present Light, consciousness and joy.
We are the Healing Presence volunteering to correct errant paths and claim a better way.
Be conscious of Loving and affirming every Man, Boy and Elder that they claim their own inner Good.

I love the work we do together.
We are the lightworkers, the healers, the wayshowers and the ones who believe, see and live Love.
Trust your inner healing work is making a BIG difference.
Trust you forgiveness and right perception is changing lives, attitudes and families.

Bless us all, everyone.

Feeling Safe

**See Special Offer below**

I was asked this week, “How to feel safe?” and “What is right?”

To feel safe, stop hurting yourself.
To feel safe, stop judging others.
To feel safe, stop being angry.
To feel safe, stop attacking with thought or words.

To fail safe, stop being angry.
To feel safe, stop scaring yourself.
To feel safe, stop ingesting scary news or media.
To feel safe, stop worrying.

To feel safe, we need to change our thoughts which change our feelings.
To feel safe, we need to see ourselves and our world with forgiveness.
To feel safe, we need to be accepting of differences in values and behavior.
To feel safe, we need to allow ourselves to release and undo negativity.

To feel safe, we need to erase and eliminate our attacking thoughts and words.
To feel safe, we need to become a place of peace and safety for others.
To feel safe, we need to realize that our thoughts either hurt or heal us.
To feel safe, we need to undo everything that is not wholly loving and True.
***********************************************************
To feel supported, stop being non-supportive.
To feel right, stop making others wrong.
To feel free, stop restricting ourselves and others.
To feel good, stop making anyone feel bad.
*********************************************************
To feel happy, supported, free and good, we must be willing to relinquish the behaviors, thoughts and words to the contrary.
To feel life is fun, safe and easy, we must within ourselves, give up the old habits of seriousness, caution and doubt, difficulty and struggle.

This all sounds simple and it is.
The habits of our family system which have been reinforces over our lifetime make it seem difficult.
Being conscious is the key to change.
Staying awake and aware, willing and able to choose, to change, to commit to what is Good is essential.
We can make effective changes by simply choosing to change our minds.
And when we forget or make a mistake, we must quickly forgive ourselves, delete the limiting behavior and choose again for what we really want.

We can have what we want, simply by choosing a better way for ourselves.
Just as we can hurt ourselves, we can easily heal ourselves.
Life is meant to be a learning process.
We are here to remember, we can do whatever we choose to do.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

Special Offer

We have one week of time share available through RCI, to be used by August 31.
We would like it to be used by someone who would appreciate a getaway for one week in a one bedroom condo, usually with a queen sofa bed in the living room, usually with a full kitchen in a resort area. (somewhere in the world.) Cost for time share exchange fee will be probably less than $200 total for the week. Let me know.

Who Really Cares?

Summer Solstice is June 21, 4:31AM PDT  Time of the greatest Light.  When there is more light, we can see more dirt and unfinished business. Roll up your sleeves and get to work.  The time is NOW!

Do you care enough to remember simple courtesies?
Do you care to say please and thanks to all help requested and given?
Do you care enough to treat family members as you would invited guests?
Do you care enough to take impeccable care of you--mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually?

Do you care enough to send positive prayers to the planet, the environment, the leaders and servers?
Do you care enough to respect those who lead governments, even when you don’t like their policies?
Do you care enough to acknowledge and accept differences in energy, choices, values and lifestyles?
Do you care enough to not be threatened by those who believe and perceive differently than you?

Do you care enough to honor your way, your path, your values, your beliefs, your choices?
Do you care enough to save money for your future and your children’s?
Do you care enough to stop putting time and energy into negative thinking and worries?
Do you care enough to live, love and give your best today to everyone you encounter?

Do you care enough to be grateful for what you have and who you are?
Do you care about the environment, the water, air, forests, minerals, wildlife and earth?
Do you care about the quality of education and healthcare for all children, not just your own?
Do you care about the messages you send both with your words and your thoughts?

Do you care about how you dress, what you watch on TV and the magazines you read?
Do you care about what you are supporting and teaching others with your own personal choices?
Do you care about what you eat, where it comes from and who did the work to get it to you?
Do you care about the people across the planet who are hungry, scared and needing support?

Do you care about the foster children and children in orphanages who need loving homes?
Do you care about the young people who are lost, confused and need a strong role model and mentor?
Do you care about the elders who are shut away in rooms with little to bring comfort except a TV?
Do you care about the addicts who may be unaware of where and how to get their lives back?

Do you care about those who are working to keep the bills paid and their families intact?
Do you care about the tired, the poor, the hungry and those in despair seeking hope and help?
Do you care about how you are doing today in the ways you live and love and pray?
Do you wonder if it isn’t just too much and just want to get comfortable and forget to care?

Please care.
You do make a difference.
It is your willingness to help, to pray, to give, to serve, to teach, to affirm, to be grateful, to love ……
All this makes a BIG difference……So please care.
I care.
Betty Lue

LOVEThere is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

It makes no difference
How deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.

Successful Relationships

To have successful relationships with partners, spouse, coworkers, teammates, children there are five essential factors: Joining, Honesty, Equality, Commitment, Responsibility.Joining: All parties must share a common goal or vision for their relationship. This shared vision comes from communication regarding the needs of each individual, their vision for the future and what they share in common.

Honesty: Honest communication is sharing what really matters with no blame, guilt or withholds.
Honest is a byproduct of integrity, living one’s life on purpose with openness and appreciation.

Equality: When both parties are giving their best in each moment, there is equality.  Equality is not measured by comparison: it is experienced when there is the willingness to give one’s best even when it is less than the other.  To quit or hold back on one’s giving creates inequality.

Commitment: To commit to the fulfillment of the desired vision or goal and to the success of the relationship requires always choosing what is best for both.  Decisions are based on what is a win/win for all concerned.  One must be committed to what is highest and best for each party.

Responsibility: Being fully able and willing to respond to whatever is needed to create success through joining, honesty, equality and commitment is being fully responsible.  Where there is guilt or blame being communicated, there is inequality and victimization as well as lack of responsibility.

To be successful requires staying conscious.
To be successful requires a willingness to communicate with respect.
To be successful requires an acceptance of differences.
To be successful requires open-minded and appreciation of all parties.

To take on unconscious patterns of dysfunctional family systems will limit the success of one’s joining, honest communication, true willingness to give., total commitment to what is best for all and assuming full responsibility for the quality of the relationship.

If you want success and fulfillment in your relationships, begin today to observe what you can do to improve them in every way.  You need not depend upon the other changing in order to increase the quality of your relating.

Blessings for choosing a better way,
Betty Lue

Unconditional Giving Builds Successful Relationships

Relationships with partners, children, co workers, service providers and all others can be successful.
Many attributes can be developed to encourage, increase, enhance, heal and benefit relationships.
It only takes one to make a relationship more functional, effective and healthy.
It only takes you one small shift in your attitude, your willingness and your choices.

When you give to another, you teach them what they could do for you and others.
When you benefit another, you give them the message that they are valuable.
When you offer support to another, you demonstrate the quality of relationship you desire.
When you appreciate another, you allow them to feel they are important to you.

Everyone deserves the best.
When we settle for less, we teach others to settle for less.
When we give our leftovers, we are modeling for them that leftovers are OK.
When we fail to give ourselves our best, we teach others we deserve less than their best.

Giving must be responsible with no martyrdom or sacrifice.
Giving must benefit both giver and receiver, always with no one losing.
Giving must be done with sincerity and fulfillment.
The value of giving is in the giving itself, not in the gift.

True giving is unconditional, without the expectation of getting something in return.
True giving is a blessing and a loving reminder of the value of the relationship.
True giving is joyful and appreciative for the opportunity to express love.
True giving is positive, encouraging and appreciative.

Remember that you can be giving a smile, a touch, a handshake.
You can listen to someone and truly care.
You can offer support simply by sending a positive prayer.
You can see the best in others and forget the rest.

When we come into any relationship with an attitude of gratitude and giving, it always works.
Everything is received by both in the heart of each, even if circumstances are distracting.
When we live our lives seeking to give the best, our lives are enriched with bountiful blessing.
When we give true appreciation for everything we are receiving, the giver is blessed.

Remember that you can be the unconditional Giver in every relationship and build a better world.
You can be the one who remembers when others forget or simply do not know how to give.
You can enrich your own life by learning to give unconditionally and notice how much you receive.
The more we give, the more we have.  The more we have, the more we can give.

And so it is…
Life is for giving.
You are the Gift.
It is in giving your whole Self that you realize the Gift You Are.

Blessing abound,

Betty Lue
