Ego or Spirit?

Affirmations:

I am Spirit in a body here to share Love.

I am a gift of Love enriched by giving.

I am free to be All I Am as I trust in the Good within.

I trust in the power and Presence of Good within me.

Ego or Spirit?

Our ego is the personality self that hungers for satisfaction.

The ego has a tendency to make choices based on fear of pain and attraction to pleasure.

The learning come from family habits, life experiences and ways of coping.

The strategies of the ego are to avoid losing which prevents the freedom to trust.

Some define EGO as “Edging God Out” and ”Edging Goodness Out”.

Fear of death, losing, being wrong, feeling pain, create limitation, lack and littleness.

Our learned self usually looks for ways to avoid, look good, be right and feel better than.

The Ego tends to make all choices based on fear and avoidance.

Spiritually, we have a natural state of Wholeness.

Love is our natural state.

Abundance is our natural state.

Joy is our natural state.

Peace is our natural state.

Aliveness or Youth is our natural state.

What we learn from the world is to conform with what others believe.

Once we believe we are in danger, we defend and create separation.

Once we feel fear and build barriers, we feel alone and need to use our ego to care for us.

Once we rely on the ego and its decisions, we are driven by our fear-based Ego.

In the Ego, without inspiration, we often feel confused, heavy, uncertain and distrustful.

There is little light or love to guide our way, because we feel alone.

The inspiration or salvation often come from temporary fixes, feelings, drugs or spiritual highs.

We are often vigilant to avoidance and fear of pain, disease, doubt and death.

Spirit opens the way to True and lasting Love.

Spirit gives us the Light of happiness to follow.

Spirit engenders a consistent path of Forgiveness to follow.

Spirit demonstrates the Abundance that Gratitude creates.

When we have a glimpse or knowing the Goodness is Real, we begin to feel hopeful.

When we seek living in this Good or inspired state, we see that true happiness exists.

When we experience happiness and follow the path of Trust in Good, we awaken to the way.

When we are awake to live in Trust, freely choosing what demonstrates our Gratitude, we are inspired.

Everyday in every way I am better and better.

Everyday in every way I am wiser and wiser.

Everyday in every way I am more and more trusting.

Everyday in every way I am filled with the Light and Love of all Good and only Good.

And so it is, we begin to thrive, enriched by the Joy and Vitality within.

And so it is, we feel awake and ready to awaken by our simple Presence.

And so it is, we sing out with joy and gratitude for all the gift os freely living.

And so it is, we fully embrace the Goodness in our heart and minds and everyday living.

Loving you and me, the Grand WE, for being open and willing to serve all Good and only Good.

In this we awaken to remember the higher or Real Truth.

Love Is Our Natural State

Affirmations:

Life is Good and getting better.

I choose to live with loving and peaceful thinking and speaking.

I forgive quickly and receive the blessings instantly.

I learn from everything and everyone ONLY LOVE IS REAL.

Fear and Love

Happiness is Our Natural State.

When we are not loving, respectful and kind, some thought has inter-feared!

When we are not happy, we have lost of purpose and love for Self.

When we withhold Love, respect and kindness, we experience fear.

When we are afraid to love, we withhold who we are.

When we are not wholly Being the Love We Are, we feel separate and afraid.

When we are not sharing the Goodness We have, we feel unloving, unkind and unforgiving.

The cycle of fear and withholding of love comes from our judging mind.

When we judge, it is because we are afraid.

When we are afraid, we judge.

Where we are judging and afraid, we get stuck!

When we are stuck, we may experience, stubbornness, sickness, separation and stupidity.

When we are stuck, we may feel confusion, conflict, disconnection and correction.

When we are stuck, we may have faulty beliefs, misperceptions and limited thinking.

When we are stuck, we may be consumed, depleted, obsessive, distracted and demanding.

Freedom comes with forgiving ourselves.

Freedom is created by undoing our fear.

Freedom is experienced when we erase and release our faulty and limiting thinking.

Freedom comes from choosing only peace.

In peace there is help.

In peace of mind there is openness.

In peace there is strength.

In peace we return to our natural Self.

When we are aware of the value of peace in mind and body and words, we can choose again.

When we know that our crazy and confusing thinking is distracting and destructive, we can stop.

When we learn a better way of being, doing and giving, we will experiment with its effectiveness.

When we understand that peace is essential, to healing, understanding and Love, we will choose peace.

Smiling at how simple it is.

Laughing at us for getting lost in the insanity.

Amazed at how many excuses and defenses we create.

Surprised by how long it seems to take to give it up.

If we only knew the trauma and drama we cause ourselves, perhaps we would stop the pain.

If we only understood how judgments hold everything we judge in place, perhaps we would let go.

If we only recognize how fun, safe and easy life can be by letting go, perhaps we would forgive.

If we only perceive the lesson and the blessing in all things, perhaps we would open to receive the Good.

I prefer to forgive myself quickly and let go of fear.

I prefer to choose peace and allow the understanding to come.

I prefer to stop the insanity and remember only Love.

I prefer to experience a fun, safe and easy life.

Get Real!

Affirmations:

I live my life effectively and successfully.

I trust I am where I need to be doing what is mine to do.

My relationships are harmonious, my work is fulfilling and I love myself well.

I live my life and learn with wisdom, ease and grace.

 Let’s Get Real!

If you have a problem, deal with it.

If you have a pain, handle it.

If you have a conflict, clear it.

If you have a need, fill it.

If you have a question, ask it.

If you want an answer, listen to it.

If you have something taking your time and attention……

Deal with it thoroughly, until it is resolved.

Peace may be the answer.

Love may be the answer.

Faith may be the answer.

Giving may be the answer.

Persistence may be the answer.

Information may be the answer.

Listening within may be the answer.

Changing your attitude may be the answer.

Resting and surrender may be the answer.

Your answer is yours alone!

To quit is to give up on yourself.

To complain drains your energy.

To suffer is not right or fair for you.

To resent makes it linger and get worse.

To feel guilty gets you stuck.

To feel self pity makes you feel lonely and hopeless.

Do something or find someone who will happily do it for you.

Do not quit until you get what you really want.

Ask clearly and stop being so picky that you resent what you get.

Appreciate the answers that come and ask more specifically if you want more.

Life is a "search and rescue mission".

You are searching for what you think you have lost.

You are rescuing what you sent on a wild goose chase,

You feel sad when you lose it and ecstatic when you find it.

Life is a "get-out-of-bed" and "go-to-school" assignment.

First you have to wakeup, like it or not, and then you need to learn something.

The longer you malinger and play dumb, the longer you stay stuck in the same grade.

Graduation comes when you “GET IT!”

We are responsible for solving our problems.

We are responsible for cleaning up our misses.

We are responsible for healing our relationships glitches.

We are responsible for handling our affairs.

Our life, however we see it, is ours to live, learn, laugh and let go.

The process is the process.

The joy or misery is ours to choose.

Consider being open and willing, grateful and happy.

Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Mind!

Change your thoughts and your change your attitude.

Change your attitude and you change your experience.

Affirmations:

I do the work I enjoy and I enjoy the work I do.

Happy thoughts create happy work; Happy work creates happy lives.

I love clearing away everything that is negative and unloving.

Life works for me because I do the Work.

I receive well from everything I give well.

Work More, Enjoy More.

The more you work, the better you feel.

The more you work, the more you create.

The more you work, the more fun you have.

The more you work, the easier life is.

When you are criticizing yourself or others, you are not living your purpose.

When you are envious of others, you are not fulfilling your own life.

When you are feeling sorry for yourself, you are believing someone else will do the work.

When you are experiencing guilt or regret, forgive yourself and do something productive.

Life has the meaning we give it with everything we do.

Work is the way we live the meaning we want.

Work is the reward, not money or fame.

When we do what is true for us, we see ourselves as happy, healthy and successful.

Life works when we do the work.

When you are lazy, complaining, needy or looking for handouts, life doesn’t work for you.

When you are forgetful, ignorant, dependent, careless and thoughtless, life becomes small and sad.

When you act negligent, dependent, irresponsible, apathetic and play “poor me:, life feels hopeless.

It is time to get up early, work hard and go to bed feeling good about the work you have done.

Just like anything you really want, you have to practice and work at it.

Those who have never worked dawn until dusk or later, need to build up endurance.

Those who are used to getting what they want without giving what they have, cannot understand the value of work.

We are a more peaceful, appreciative and inspired society when everyone works.

When we work, we feel better about ourselves.

When we work, we feel capable and valuable.

When we work, our self esteem increases.

When we work, we value life more.

When we work, we are more respectful of others.

When we work, we know we deserve what we have.

When we work, we know we can be helpful.

Anything worth having is worth working for.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Do you work to be the best at what you do?

Do you study, learn, practice, seek teachers and mentors?

Do you encourage yourself to work harder with greater efficiency?

Do you pay attention to what works and what doesn’t work?

Do you appreciate the work you do as you are doing it?

Do you enjoy accomplishing and achieving and fulfilling your goals?

Do you set goals for yourself and do first things first?

Do you spend money that you have earned by working? (not borrowing or begging or getting handouts!)

Do you understand that the happiest and most successful people work hard every day?

Do you recognize what it takes to be successful, happy and healthy?

Are you willing to work at making your life better and the best it can be?

Do you know working for money is not enough motivation?

Do you work for contribution, enjoyment, achievement, expanding your abilities, being of service?

Do you recognize and appreciate people who work hard or criticize them?

Do you admire people who are lazy, dependent and seem to take life for granted?

We all have role models and people we admire.

What we admire, we strengthen within ourselves.

I admire people who work for what they have.

I admire people who are generous with the work they do.

I admire people who are conscientious about what they spend.

I admire people who live on what they have earned.

I admire people who invest in creating a better world.

I admire people who work with inspiration and joy.

I admire people who do what they do because it is their calling.

I admire people who are happy doing the work they do.

People who work hard and smart, prosper.

People who prosper, give more and are happy and grateful to be giving.

Life is for giving.

You are the gift.

It is in giving the gift You are that You realize the gifts You have.

Working with wisdom and joy and gratitude,

Choose for Love

Affirmations:

I choose for Love.

I make the decision to Love, only Love.

I forgive and Love anyone who forgets to Love.

I remember Love is what we’re here for.

Love is a Decision I Must Make.

I claim heaven on earth here in me.

I choose a good life that inspires me everyday in every way.

I create a life of Beauty, Goodness and Wholeness to be joyfully shared.

And so it is, I affirm and declare, I do the work with joy and gratitude.

Could it be, you really can have the life you want?

Those who choose and do what it takes have everything they want.

If we make our beds, watch our mouths and change our attitude, life works easily.

I learned without any resistance to take care of my home, my words and my mind.

It is never too late to learn.

Never too late to change your life.

Never too late to change our words and our work ethic.

Never too late to have the life we want?

Yes, it requires committed focus, practice and willingness to do whatever it takes.

When we are willing, we can have what we want with all our heart and mind.

It requires clearing and cleaning every thought, word or behavior that interferes.

It requires a steadfast daily practice of what is true and good and healthy.

It requires letting go of the stories and disappointment, wishing and hoping.

It seems we are in a time of a quick fixes and short term gratification.

False Belief: A pill, a prayer, a person, a wish, a class, a book will give us what we want.

Where is the work we need to do?

Where is the intention for the Highest Good?

Where is the research, the learning, cleaning up mistakes and doing the daily work required?

It seems we are in the age of disposing anything we no longer want.

"Easy come, easy go."

If it costs nothing, it must not be valuable.

If it is given to us without working for it, it must not be of real significance.

If things break or get lost, someone will replace them.

If we do not take care of what we have, we can just go get more.

A child explored our home this week and said, “You must be rich.”

I replied, “ We are rich in Love and Gratitude.”

We take good care of everything we have and so it lasts.

We use what we have and make it work for us.

We give what we no longer use to others who have need.

We keep our home clean and orderly and beautiful.

You can do it too, when you love your self and your life.”

If something is of value to you, be grateful.

Take good care of it while it serves you.

What you serve well, will serve you well.

When you value someone, love and serve them well.

The key may be to not take anything we have for granted.

Honor and respect everything you have.

Take care of everything and make it whole and holy.

If you cannot care well for someone or something, let it go to someone who will care for it well.

Allow all things to be loved and used for Good, by sharing them with someone who will.

Create your life, as if every relationship matters.

Create your home, as if everything your have has value to you.

Create your words, as if everything you say is teaching everyone everywhere.

Create your choices, as if everything you do is literally creating the world you live in.

Because it is!!!

Your life matters.

You are making a difference.

Make it positive, helpful and inspiring.
