Build Routine Reminders in Your Life

Everyday in everyway you can have more Goodness in your life.
Build daily Goodness into your life.
Plan your life so that you feel Good.
Prepare each day so you remember Good.

Routines are Good for you, when they include only remembering good.
Routines can be helpful when they are healthy, healing and wholesome.
Remember routinely to brush your teeth, say your prayers and go to bed on time.
Remembering to include what is healthy is essential when you may be distracted by the unhealthy.

Start each day with your own positive routine.
Inspire yourself with immediate inspirational thinking.
Listen within as you awaken to your inner guidance.
Carry your good daily routines with you wherever you go.

·      Some read inspirational or spiritual material.
·      Some envision the day unfolding with love and grace.
·      Some listen for inner guidance as to how to proceed with their day.
·      Some stretch and get their energy moving.
·      Some write down plans  and projects to prepare.
·      Some breathe fresh air, take a walk or do exercises and yoga.
·      Some prepare a nutritious breakfast.
·      Some awaken their partner or children with happy words.
·      Some brush their teeth and was their face with a smile.
·      Some give thanks for the beautiful day they feel has been created for them.
·      Some clean up their home or enjoy the home that is already in perfect order.

How you begin your day makes a difference to you, your family and everyone you encounter.
How you feel as you awaken determines how those around you feel.
Your thoughts and feelings, prayers and choices, create how your day goes.
Your inspired energy gives energy to everything you do and speak to and enjoy.

Your singing inspires singing.
Your gratitude inspires gratitude.
Your loving inspires more loving.
Your goodness inspires goodness.

You are sharing all that you think, feel, say and do all day long…..and at night as well.
It is your participation and privilege to share your Good with all those you encounter or think of.
You can literally change the quality and experience of your day for all those you meet.
Begin to practice daily what you want to contribute to your world.

Begin each new day with a positive attitude.
Delete all thoughts that are hurtful to you or anyone.
Clean up any mess you make in relationships.
Develop the routine that inspires, supports and fulfills you.

I begin my day with you and these Loving Reminders for us all.
Love works.

Don’t Wait!

Affirmations:
I am happy being happy.
I give myself the feeling I want.
I practice being truly happy until I AM.
I choose the emotional state I experience.

Don’t Wait To Be Happy!

Some people plan on being happy later.
Some people plan on being happy when…
Some people will never be happy because…..
Some people don’t want to be happy.

Happiness is a function of forgiveness.
When we are critical of anything or anyone, we are not at peace.
When we always want more or less, we cannot be satisfied.
When we think about what we wish could be, how can we be truly happy?

Can we be happy with exactly where we are?
Can we be content with exactly what we have?
Are we willing to appreciate what is are doing?
Are you valuing yourself as you are?

Many people believe we must be in a state of unhappiness to achieve.
Others believe that it is our nature to desire something more or different.
But how about allowing your happiness to inspire and renew you.
Look at what encourages you to be your best.

Ingest the best and forget and forgive the rest.
Be happy and you will be happy doing it.
Do it and you will be happy being it.
Happiness is the motivation to do the Good we do.

I am happy with my life, my home and my self.
I am happy writing this loving reminder for you.
I am happy taking a 24 hour sabbatical to the coast.
I am happy being happy with myself and all that is.

Does this happiness inspire me to love more and give more?
Happiness fuels me.
Happiness is like a Geiger counter and shows me what to do next.
Happiness is contagious and encourages others to choose happiness too.

Experiment with your choice to be happy.
Notice that you can choose happiness.
Notice how you choose to be unhappy.
Notice which feels better for you.

You can have an attitude of happiness and feel so much better.
Notice that your natural state is happiness. (unless you have learned the habit of unhappiness.)
Notice that life works better when you are happy.
Notice and choose again for what you really want.

Loving you,
Betty Lue

Twelve Daily Steps To Optimistic Living

1.     Focus on my successes rather than on my failures.
2.     Notice that which I have accomplished rather than that which I’ve left undone.
3.     See and acknowledge my beauty rather than focusing on my imperfections.
4.     Notice and acknowledge all the times I’ve followed the optimum conditions, rather than judging myself for the times I have not.
5.     Acknowledge all my wins each and every day.
6.     Create and maintain an environment that nurtures me.
7.     See problems as opportunities to learn from rather than as obstacles to avoid.
8.     Tell the whole truth on a moment to moment basis in order to maintain impeccable and loving relationships.
9.     Be conscious every moment to put positive thoughts into my mind rather than negative, knowing all thoughts are creative.
10.  Appreciate my feelings as a means of understanding myself, thus directing and creating my reality.
11.  Continue to forgive myself and others as a means of creating a state of Grace.
12.  Fill my life with joy and ecstasy by practicing daily the art and skill of verbally expressing my gratitude for all that I have.

Technology Fasting

Affirmations:
I use my time for what is meaningful and enjoyable.
I can easily set aside habits that control my choices.
I use my time and life wisely and well.
I free myself from what limits my happy Presence.

Sending out this loving Reminder before Sundown on Friday and no more until Sundown on Saturday.

Technology Fast

Are you willing to let it go?
Are you addicted to phone, TV, computer, etc.
Can you just be quiet and enjoy?
Are you open to just 24 hours without using technology for distraction?

From Sunset Friday until Sunset Saturday, some are on a technology fast.
We are here on the Coast at Sea Ranch near Gualala, CA simply enjoying what is.
Looking out at the sea, walking along the coast, I am enjoying the sights and sounds of natural beauty.
As I pause, I realize how we seem to fill every moment neglecting all that is ours right now.

So yes, I like to write and read and meet new folks and enjoy the quiet.
I learn wherever I go with gratitude for all that is shown to me.
I receive the gifts as they come naturally from the fresh ocean breeze to the hawks soaring overhead.
I walk on paths leading to the beach where hundreds of others have gone.

What our phones offer is connection with others ideas, information and opportunities.
What we receive comes quickly and freely and at no cost except our time.
What we lose is time, intimacy, the rich taste, touch and personal experience.
What we gain is immediate access to what we want and quick gratification.

So try letting technology go for 24 hours.
Set aside your communication devise and try being quiet and simple and present.
Allow your mind to see and taste and touch and smell and greet what is right here and now.
See what comes to you, when you allow life to be right there for you and with you.

We are here with everything we might need, enjoying what is right now.
I notice that things seem quiet and simple and smaller than before.
I observe that I am more with myself and my partner than with the “thing” interfering.
I experience there is more quiet inner listening than reaching for the tech to fill me.

I love technology until I realize how it can control our lives and our time and our attention.
I recognize the value in the “things” as they teach us to connect, to learn, to heal and reveal what we want.
I understand how for many there is easy inexpensive or free access to widen our horizons of information
I am pleased people can connect far and wide laying all the barriers aside to be together.

How often do we use someone else make our choices for us.
See what happens when you set aside the tech habits and addictions.
What if you do not look at facebook, twitter and email?
How will your life be when you do what you want rather than read what others are doing?

Give yourself a rest to just be with you and those you live with.
Talk with those you love and those you encounter.
Have meaningful conversation with who you meet along the way.
Recognize the blessing of natural interaction and connection.

We already have what we need, but may not see and enjoy it all.
We already have those we want in our lives, but may not enjoy their Presence.
We already are living the life we have chosen, but may not realize it is our choice.
We need not seek for more, but enjoy the Good we have and the Good we do.

Live your life naturally and see how Good it is.
Love It all,
Betty Lue

Advice and Opinions!

Affirmations:
I am a compassionate listener for those who need to explore their feelings.
I trust others to discover their own answers and solutions.
I seek helpers and healers who help be listen to myself.
I forgive myself for thinking I know what others need.

Asked for Advice?

Do you give your opinions whether or not you are asked?
Do you give advice without know what is valuable?
Are you trying to help, fix, teach others even if not asked?
Do you experience your judgment matters to others?

It seems we are all trying to be experts no matter how little we know.
It looks like we are self-made reporters on what is helpful and what is not.
People seem to feel they are called to put in their two cents worth.
What do you want and value and find helpful?

Give what you want to receive.
Offer others what you want to be offered.
Treat yourself and others with respect.
Know what you know and what you don’t know.

I have chosen to offer nothing unless asked.
I follow my mother’s lead and listen first with a desire to understand.
I give only what I am specifically asked for, and nothing more.
When I am invited to be used as a consultant and counselor, I give my best.

When asked and hired as a consultant, I offer a specific time and confidential place and full attention.
As a professional therapist, counselor and consultant, I respect the one asking by offering the best I know.
I offer a private space and specified appointment time and treat the other with great respect.
I encourage the one asking to listen to themselves and declare what they want.

Opinions are opinions.
If I have a judgment or opinion, I declare so.
If I am giving advice, I acknowledge that in my limited experience, I may…….
I hesitate to advise, because I am not the one who is involved in the circumstances.

I must be a safe place in which the truth can be shared with no fear of judgment.
I must be well-informed and aware of how my words may be perceived.
I must be careful that I always place the other’s needs and wants come first.
I must recuse myself when I am prejudiced or misinformed.

Bottom lime, I prefer others to come to their own decisions.
I encourage more information and more education be revealed.
I source what seems to be from intuition and inner guidance.
I offer forgiveness and healing, open-mindedness and consideration.

I am the example of the rational mind for the one asking for help.
When in relationship we are seeking the highest and best way, we must be awake and aware.
When wanting to be helpful, we must encourage the one asking to be helpful first to themselves.
It is essential that we learn not to misdirect others by our own prejudices and personal healing needs.

It is time for all of us to respect the unique learning and healing path of each individual.
We have a responsibility to clear our own healing and learning needs first.
We can be truly helpful by being fully present and open to the needs of the one seeking help.
Stop and pay attention, listen to what is being said inside and out, tell the highest truth and let go.

Helpful relationships relate to one another with trust and freedom = LOVE.
Love one another always with respect, responsibility and cooperation.

I Do Not Know

I do not know that which I AM.
I do not know who you are or the part you play.
I do not know the purpose of our encounter.
I do know I AM here to allow and accept you as you are.

I do not know what I can offer you.
I do not know where our relationship will lead us.
I do not know how I am to share my Love with you.
I do know I am to share my Love and receive yours as well.

I do not know the part I am to play in your life.
I do not now know how we are to teach and learn with one another.
I do not know how our sharing will awaken and benefit each one of us.
I do know I Am here to remember the Love in me and share it freely.

I do not know and I am willing to remember.
I do not know and  I am open to learn.
I do not know and I am here to be share All I have.
I do know to live fully, I must dare to always Love You.

I believe this is true for all of us in every relationship!

Spring Cleaning

Affirmations:
Letting go is fun, safe and easy.
I am lighter, happier, healthier everyday.
Spring cleaning sets me free to fully be who I AM.
I enjoy the opportunity to release all that is not right for me.

Spring Cleaning

Are you ready for renewal?
Are you willing to let go?
Do you clean up your messes?
How can you release unneeded excess?

Too much thinking?
Too much waiting?
Too much junk?
Too much of anything?

Excess always weighs you down.
Excess spending is heavy.
Excess worry is unhealthy.
Excess consuming causes waste.

Lighten up your life.
Let go of negatives.
Undo false beliefs.
Release complaining.

When you are lighter in mind, you are more creative.
When you are lighter in body, you are healthier.
When you are lighter inn emotions, you are happier.
When you are light in Spirit, you are more present.

Life can be a puzzle, which challenges you.
Life can be a canvas on which you create.
Life can be an adventure in which you explore.
Life can be a university from which you learn.

Life can be an excuse to let you off the hook.
Life can be a burden you stress to overcome.
Life can be an emergency, which stresses you.
Life can be a dilemma, which you want to get out of.

Unpack your attic of unneeded history and paraphernalia.
Look at what you have right now and don’t need.
Move it out of your way and see what you see.
With a clean view, you will begin to recognize what is yours.

I know you can let go easily and quickly to be happy and free.
Begin today, one drawer at a time.
Keep only what inspires you and brings you joy.
That is always and only what is meant to belong to you.

Love yourself well with freedom, lightness and Joy.
Loving you,
Betty Lue

Where Is The Love?

Affirmations:
I have the choice, and I choose for Love.
I can uncover the negative thoughts and see the Light within.
I let go of holding on to the hurtful past and toxic thinking.
I am the light and love I see to heal and reveal.

Ash Wednesday
Where Has All the Love Gone?

What is missing?
What happened to civility and respect?
What have we done with the Light and the Love?
Are we lost in the clouds or in the mud?

Is it possible we don’t remember how to be grateful and happy?
Are we ignoring the basic rules of etiquette?
Do we know how to take care of our children?
Can we wake up to unconditional love with true forgiveness?

With world-wide media access comes total freedom of speech and behavior.
With no demonstration of value, ethics, and mores, society loses it dignity and respect.
With dysfunctional families and organizations comes free-for-all.
Are we aware of how to think, speak and act with Love and Peace?

When we no longer have an awareness of basic human rights and responsibilities, there is denigration.
Are you treating others the way you want to be treated?
Are you living your highest and best with what you think, say and do?
Are you aware of what you are teaching with how you live and give ?

Do you remember how to Love unconditionally?
Do you know how to forgive and teach a better way?
Do you trust your heart to guide you to the highest truth?
Are you aware of how to treat children with respect and kindness?
Do you feel confident, capable and conscientious when you interact?
Are you living in alignment with your own principles and values?
Do you appreciate the difference you make in your family, community and workplace.
Are you pleased with the choices you make in how you use your time, money, energy and resources?

What will it take for you to be the person you really want to be?

Let go of your judgments and find the compassion within.
Let go of your complaining and find the creative solutions within.
Let go of you past history and see the hope and helpfulness within.
Let go of your limiting and faulty beliefs and find the unlimited possibility within.

This is your choice to make and live daily.
I value and appreciate your willingness to live your life with Love!
Loving you,
Betty Lue

LOVE

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

 It makes no difference
how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.
