What Is Keeping You From Playing Your Part?

We need One who is willing.
We need One who is healing.
We need One to forgive everyone.
We need One to see Innocence and Love.

Are you willing to clear the way?
Are you willing to play your part?
Are you willing to relinquish negativity?
Are you willing to come only from your heart?

Let’s think Good.
Let’s see Good.
Let’s do Good.
Let’s be Good.

When I seek problems, mistakes and bad stuff, I find it.
When I forgive the problems, the mistakes and yucky stuff, I heal and erase it.
Awareness with forgiveness and love is healing.
When I am aware of something that I judge, I can easily forgive and clear it.
When I see humanity’s unconscious guilt projected onto our world, I can forgive it.
When I do my part by forgiving all I see, I actually erase its existence.
When I erase its existence, it no longer shows up in my awareness.
When I am healed, I am not healed alone.
When I forgive, I forgive all in my awareness.
When I clear my vision with forgiveness, I am doing my holy and healing part.

Forgiveness is a tool to be used to clear what we no longer wish to exist.
Forgiveness can be applied quickly and easily to every fear, judgments and misperception.
Forgiveness needs no justification, no explantion, no emotion and no attachment.
It is as effective as windex on our windows, so we can see clearly the innocence within.

The process of seeing comes from what we choose to see through the filters of our unconscious mind.
When we hold unconscious judgment and guilt, we see the out-picturing of what we hold in our minds.
When we are willing to forgive what appears in our world, we can see with an enlightened mind.
When we clean the dirty filters held in our unconscious mind, we remember the Love within everyone.

We are changing our perception with every thought of Good.
We are clearing our projections with every recognition of our Good.
We are undoing all illusion of what is not true when we heal our perception.
We are returning to the innocent vision of a loving creation when we forgive.

Ingest the best and forgive the rest.
Forgive and bless.
Yes, see all forgiven and released.
See the Light in everyone as the Holy One..
For it is YOU!

Loving us as we do the healing and Holy work assigned to us.

What Are these Loving Reminders?

A handful of people are new to receiving these daily or weekly loving reminders from me.
I send them directly to over one thousand people and many more from your referrals.
I have been writing and sending Loving Reminders for over 13 years everyday I am at home.
They are valuable for me to receive and share and valuable for others who receive them as reminders.

When something resonates with you, you feel its truth in your heart.
When you are reminded of what you know deep inside, you appreciate and find value.
When you are touched with inspiration, you feel grateful and can choose to practice.
This is my reason for listening within and sharing the inner guidance I receive each day.

After counseling and coaching thousands of individuals, couples and families, I know the need.
After teaching, mentoring and facilitating hundreds of people for the last 35 years, I hear the call.
After listening and letting Spirit within guide my life for most of my life, I feel the importance.
And this is my way of responding to all of us for the Highest Good and finding a better way.

These reminders are intended to be practical; they are meant to be used everyday.
These reminders are intended to be inspirational; they are meant to move you into action.
These reminders are intended to be spiritual; they are meant to call you to return to what is meaningful.
These reminders are intended to be healing; they give insight, freedom to choose/change and peace.

For many, there is limited time and money, so these reminders offer help when you have need.
For some, there is hesitation in asking for help, so these reminders are an anonymous way to learn.
For others, there is denial of needing anything, and the reminders simply reawaken what is known.
For me, these reminders are a powerful way to connect, to touch you with my love for us all.

Yes, I Love You.
I love you when you are happy or sad, right or wrong, awakening or sleeping on the job.
I love you when you don’t love yourself or forget you are loveable and capable just as you are.
I love you when you are willing to do the work and when you get lazy and quit on yourself.

I am your Loving Reminder.
We can call it a Calling or Holy Assignment or just what I am here to do.
My intention is to facilitate all of us in playing our Part and living our potential in being all we can be.
Said in a thousand ways or no way at all…your healing and success and joy are a blessing for me.

So why would I sit at my computer every morning as my spiritual practice and joy…….??
Because of all this above and so much more.
You and I are One..
More than you can know, we are connected in Love.
Ask me your questions.
Give me your comments.
Share with me your gratitude.
And always know I am with you in Love.

Clearing Obstacles to Love

When we clear the blocks to Love, we find Peace.
When we clear our fears and judgments, we find Trust.
When we clear darkness, distractions, delays and despair, we know enlightenment.
When we clear the obstacles of victimization, attachment, avoidance and anger, we know God.

Why would we hold ourselves separate?
Why do we continue our fear of love?
Why do we hesitate to give up our defenses?
Why do we cling to our struggles and negativity?

Our egos identify with our humanity, our limitations, lack and self-effacement.
Our personalities often describe themselves on the basis of what is missing or flawed.
Human characteristics are often described as less than magnificent, powerful and whole.
People often choose to be ordinary and conforming as self protection from judgments.

To see your Self  whole requires a relinquishment of your false humility.
To see your Self as good requires forgiveness of error, and sin.
To see your Self as worthy requires a willingness to forgive your self judgments.
To see your Self as Holy requires the forgiveness of all humanity.

Clearing all obstacles to the awareness of the Presence of Love, requires us to relinquish judgments of fear, hatred, resentment, anger, hurt, pain, suffering, jealousy, greed, lust, and distrust.
The separation from All Good, our Good came when we judged ourselves.
When we saw ourselves as unworthy, bad, sick and separate, we could no longer see perfect Love.
Forgiveness is the way Home, to Peace, to God, to Good, to Freedom to Wholeness, to Love.

Yes, Let Go and Let God into our thoughts, our lives, our creations and our self understanding.
We are here to purify our bodies with conscientious care.
We are here to clean up our thoughts and desires by choosing only Good.
We are here to purify our motives to serve all Good for All.

  • There is a need to relinquish, forgive and undo our learned attachments to selfishness or self will.
  • There is a need to undo our belief in separation from Source, from Love, from Truth, from Peace.
  • There is a need to let go of our attachments to our history, our limiting beliefs, our destructive habits.
  • There is a need to release negativity in our thoughts, our speech and our activities and relationships.

With all this work, we may not feel willing.
With the undoing of what we have learned from humanity, we may not believe we can.
With the cleaning and clearing of all we hold as our identity, we may be frightened.
With stepping into the unknown, we may want proof, agreement and a strategic plan.

Simplicity is the way.
Forgive everything and everyone for all time, including ourselves.
Bless everyone and everything for all time, including ourselves.
With Forgiveness and Blessing, we find our True Identity in Creating only the Goodness and Holiness.
Loving us as One, as we return to Love,

11.11.11 = Illumination

What a great excuse and invitation to remember!

·     Shine our Light on any darkness.
·     Dissolve fear with Love.
·     Educate ignorance with Awareness.
·     Bring Peace to all Conflict- thoughts, words and actions.

We are the Light of the World.
This is our healing and holy function here.
We radiate Light by clearing the mirror in our minds.
We shine the Light by reflecting the Light of God, Good and Holiness.

Remember Love and Return to Wholeness and Holiness.
We must forgive continuously to remember perfect Love.
We are called to forgive and erase with Love all that is not LOVE.
We are here to be the Loving Reminders wherever we go and whatever we do.

What would it take for you to give up the darkness, ignorance, fear and conflict of the world?
How can you clear the negativity, the struggle, the pain and suffering of judging everything?
Are you willing to clear the decks and light the lamp of forgiveness and release of the past?
Can you stop speaking, hearing and seeing what is “evil” and stop spreading fear?

These are challenging questions for our ego, for this time, for humanity.
We are being called forth to declare our willingness to let go and undo what we do not want.
We are asked to stop preaching defensiveness and thereby empowering what we defend against.
We are encouraged to release what we fear and judge and choose an enlightened way to live.

We are here to give……not get.
We are here to trust…..not doubt.
We are here to create……not destroy.
We are here to appreciate….not diminish.

It takes very little to make the choice to give voice to what is Good.
It only requires a willingness to undo what has perpetuate what we do not want to be and see.
Life asks of us that we affirm what we choose to be and see.
We are invited to confirm the goodness and beauty and wholeness we create with Gratitude.

Breathe and release.
Pause and forgive.
Stop and undo.
Let go and be open to not know.

·     Look for the Light.
·     Follow the Joy.
·     Listen to Goodness, Kindness and Love.
·     Appreciate the Beautiful and Holiness in You and in me.

This is the way to a delightful world illuminated with our Love.
Loving you,
Betty Lue

What Do You Know?

When we look through our little peephole on life, what we see is limited.
When we try to understand, we get only a glimpse of what is really there.
When we focus on the bad stuff, we see mostly bad stuff and judge it as bad.
When we look for the Good stuff, we feel the love and gratitude  for all the Good in our lives.

We can pick apart almost anything and anyone, including ourselves, when we look for faults.
Faults are false.
We can celebrate almost everything and everyone, including ourselves, when we look for the Good.
What is true is always true.

What we believe, we perceive.
What we think, we become.
What we resist, persists.
What we desire, we create.

When we give our thoughts to our fearful self, our ego, our learned separate personality, we see what we have been thinking.
We see through the filters of our history, our experiences, our learned thought system and the opinions of others.
When we quiet our own thinking and use the Higher Mind, the thought system of Spirit, we desire only Peace and Love of God, of Good.
When we are willing to relinquish our limited view which cannot see the whole of  life, we seek guidance.
When we recognize, we do not know and cannot understand, we seek Peace.

When we are at peace and have Love for ourselves, when we forgive all things, understanding comes.
When we are willing to let go and trust God, the Greater Good, we find a better way, a wiser way.
When we are open to listening with gratitude and an open heart and mind, we hear the Truth.
When we recognize our own healing and are willing to offer Healing Love to others, we are at Peace.

Yes, it requires our willingness to let go.
Yes, it asks that we relinquish our attachments to our beliefs.
Yes, it invites us to let go of our own limited, special thought system.
Yes, it encourages us to always and only to desire and choose a Loving Way to be and see, to do and have.

Each one of us, must choose for ourselves.
We must express our own willingness to give up the stuff we really do not want.
We must forgive our complex and defensive thinking and choose for what is simply and Always True.
We are here to love ourselves and love one another, no matter what.

This is my commitment to you and to all.
The only mistake we ever make is when we forget to Love.
I commit to Love no matter what.
Love is the way I live at Peace and with Joy.

Loving you,
Betty Lue

LOVE
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

 It makes no difference
how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.

Dealing with the World, People and Things

Now what about the world we see?
How do we handle it all differently?
How do we forgive what we judge?
How do we fix what is wrong, bad and sick?

Ahhhh!
This is where practice comes to play.
This is where our spiritual path is unique to us.
This is where we have some choices to make.
This is where we need to be aware and awake.

If we believe in the world’s belief system, we need to judge and fear, avoid and resist, confront and hate.
If we believe in the world’s woes and wrongs, whining and criticism, we need to fix, defend and punish.
If we believe in the world’s investments in money, achievements and safety, we need to work and worry.
If we believe we the body is who we are, we need to do anything we can to stay in a body longer.

What if this is the place where we explore and experiment.
What if the physical world is where we get lost and confused.
What if having an ego is what holds us captive in our own fearful thought system.
What if stuff and things, bodies and money and specialness are our distraction, attachment and delay.

So now what?
Let’s look for something real and lasting.
Let’s let go of what loses its lustre and stay with what shines always.
Let’s trade in conflict for peace and fear for love.
Let’s erase our limited thinking and surrender to an open mind.

The body is a communication device, to be used to communicate Love.
The mind is like a computer, programmed with historical fear or given to creating Goodness and Love.
Our temporary physical life is a place to practice or choose conflict or peace.
Our worth does not change with what we teach or make or think or give.

So love my neighbor as I love my true Self, always listening with how I can more truly love.
Give to others only with Joy and Gratitude, not out of duty and obligation.
Be present with the best I know and have within me, always clearing my self doubts and fears.
Honor everyone by forgiving all mistakes and seeing them choosing again from the heart.

Here is one of my favorites for you to consider in everything you are and do.

Loving you,
Betty Lue

Do It Anyway
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy it all overnight.
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

Creating the World We See

I JUDGE ALL THINGS AS I WOULD HAVE THEM BE.
I SEE ALL THINGS AS I WOULD HAVE THEM BE.
NOW LET A NEW PERCEPTIONS COME TO ME.
I SEEK A FUTURE DIFFERENT FROM THE PAST.
Lessons #311-314 in Course in Miracles Workbook.

We serve our world when we join to see all things forgiven, healed and holy.
We serve our selves when we judge no one and nothing, and see the Goodness, the Beauty and the Love.
We free ourselves from the miscreations of worldly perception and choose again to see only Love.
We undo what is not pure and innocent when we forgive and release what we have judged to be.

Does that mean that we are responsible for what we see?
Does this mean that forgiveness will heal our perception?
Can this mean that we are here to forgive all things?
Are we willing and able to respond with forgiveness, love and blessings to everyone and everything?

Yes, I am willing to be able to respond to  what I see in you and me with Love.
Yes, I choose to forgive and erase with love all that I judge that I might see things differently.
Yes, I am and we are here to forgive, to clear the fear, the false and the form with Love.
Yes, we are willing and able to respond to all things with gratitude, love and our blessing.

It sure sounds like I am responsible for using my mind to correct my misperceptions and miscreations.
It sure seems like I am here to undo everything I see that is not a creation of Goodness and Love.
It sure makes sense that we can erase every trace of sorrow, sickness, insanity and separation.
It seems that what I look for I find and what I ask for I receive, even the unconscious stuff.

So I give my thoughts to healing, helping and wholeness.
I dedicate my words to inspiring, reminding, encouraging and facilitating.
I give my time and energy and resources to choosing, creating and blessing what is Good for All.
I give my life to God, the Presence of Peace and Love and Return to the One, ReUnion with Good.

This seems like work, because undoing the thought system of egoic or worldly thinking seems big.
This seems like fun, because forgiving everything seems like erasing the minds chalkboard computer.
This seems like trust, because if I erase everything, I know nothing and need to trust a Greater Wisdom.
This seems like freedom, because I will no longer be caught in the complexity of figuring our the world.

I choose to see a world forgiven and blessed with Good.
I choose to see the healing and awakening of all humanity.
I choose to use my thoughts words and activities to inspire and remind us all of the Love We Are.
I choose to share always and only the Highest Good I know to create All Good and only Good.

I love the One we are when we join in visioning the Light in us.
We save the world when we forgive and bless all things.
Forgiveness erases everything that is not Love.

Tonight is Relationship Workshop in Pleasant Hill Center. 7PM with Robert and Betty Lue
Focused on Creating the Relationship You Really Want.

Bottom Line from Divine Truth

Your essence is enough. Your presence is enough. Yet it appears that we live in a world that requires that we do things just to survive. How do you live with that paradox?

When you operate from the basic structure of your own Divine essence and allow what is natural for that essence to emerge (as guided by your spirit), many new possibilities become available. There is an opportunity to experience being filled with the ecstasy of your spirit and the wonder of the Divine Plan.

This requires a basic surrendering of everything you think you know better than your spirit. When you operate from the premise that “Spirit knows best”, new pathways are opened for Spirit to use. Sometimes the requests of Spirit will go against everything you think you know is the “right” way. The emotional body says “no” because it doesn’t feel good. The mental body says, “No, this is not the way I see things.” The physical body fears being hurt.

When you realize it is time to surrender all that you think you know or that you think should be, there is an opportunity for Spirit to reveal more of your Divine Design and the Divine Plan for your life. The openness to jump into the void with Spirit requires that you surrender all personal sire and that you come to the place of knowing that everything serves the Divine Plan. This is an act of Faith. Faith is confidence in your spirit, no matter what the appearance or circumstance.

When the fundamental choice of Spirit takes precedence over all personal desire and will, you operate in a reality based wholly in Grace and Faith. Spirit can then use you in ways that were not possible before.

The bottom line for most beings is that they are here to serve. Some people are very attached to the way they think they will serve. There is spiritual idealism based on the distortions of third-dimensional reality. How could one truly know what the Divine Plan is for their lives if they continue to hold onto what they want it to be? Unless everything is surrendered into the hands of Spirit, you really cannot know anything of real significance. All the rest is just another version of a small story reality based in survival and fear.

Relax, Trust and Let Go!

Easy to say.
Sometimes seems difficult to do.
Requires practice.
Breathing slowly.

Affirmations:
Letting go is fun, safe and easy.
I am willing to be calm.
I am peace.
I breathe peace.
I think peace.
I live Peace.

You guessed it.
This morning I am in a hurry.
Feeling late and stressed.
And still I know:  All is Well.

Favorite reminders:
Everything always works more exquisitely than I can plan.
Everything works together for Good.
I am open and willing to allow the Christ, the love and light within me, to flow through my every activity.

Did you know that there is God energy, life force, light and love, in you and me at all times?
Did you know that we can choose which voice we listen to, the voice for love or the voice for fear?
Did you know that the world teaches the importance of stuff and things time and space, rules and should?
Did you know that Spirit, Prana, Life, Energy, simply is flowing effortlessly and perfectly always?

What if I forget the thoughts my ego thinks?
What if it think the thoughts of Goodness, Oneness and Love/
What if I forgive my limited thinking and think only of Abundance, Ease and Grace?
What if I choose to give my whole Self to trust and freedom, flow and peace, gratitude and joy?

Sounds pretty good to me.
And so it is.
All good for All.

Loving you,
Betty Lue

To Have a Good Life

Open the flow and we’re good to go!

To have a good life, let go of all strife!

Ingest the best.. Forgive the rest!

See only Good, Hear only Good, Speak only Good.
Find a spot, a mantra, a simply inspiring practice and JUST DO IT!  Everyday, all day.
It takes a little time to make sense of what this is saying.
The world and its problems seem so difficult and take so much time to analyze and resolve.
The  problems are complex and the solution is so simple.

Forgive and bless.
Erase and extend Love.
Love and fear disappears.
Give Goodness and Receive Good.
Anyone or all of these simple solutions will work, when you work with them.
Sometimes the ego, the false or learned personal self, is resistant, stubborn, stuck and afraid.
Sometimes we fail to forgive and love again, because we have learned we will be defenseless.
Sometimes we believe that it takes as much work to solve a problem than it does to create it.
Sometimes we simply are afraid to try something different, because we don’t know what will occur.

Try out any one of these possibilities:
·     Look for goodness and Love and you will find it.
·     Open the flow by letting go.
·     Love everyone equally as One Love.
·     Give freely with joy and receive fully with gratitude.
·     Express honestly only what you want to hear.
·     Contribute and participate in what you really value.
·     Quiet your mind with forgiving thoughts.
·     Bless the world you see and you will see it differently.

The holy healing work we are here to do is for all humanity, past, present and future.
The forgiveness work we are here to do is for all conscious and unconscious guilt and pain.
The gratitude work we are here to do is to bless and amplify what is really true.
The letting go work we are here to do is to release gently everything that is not wholly good and eternal.

I am loving the work you and I do, knowing it is for all of us, past and future.
We are making a difference when we wholly forgive and love anyone.
Loving us all as One,
Betty Lue

Significant Times

Are there significant times like ll/ll/ll?
Are there special people in our lives?
Are there transformational experiences?
Are there extraordinary acts of courage?

Yes, there are many moments in history and in our lifetimes, when we wake up and change happens.
There are people who come into our lives and with a word or look or action seem to change everything.
There are those events, relationships and situations that seem to bring clarity, meaning and  purpose.
And we have the opportunity to realize there is something more to life than the mundane.

Where are you stuck in unconscious routine?
What demeaning or destructive habits do you have?
What thoughtless words do you express to others?
When do you allow yourself to conform with others?

Is this a time of darkness, despair  and depression in you?
And when you are desperate, do you seek the Light?
Is this a time when our world, our family and friends need encouragement?
Do you think, speak and behave in light-filled, encouraging and faithful ways?

Will you pray in your own way?
Can you forgive with love and gratitude?
Are you willing to trust in the highest outcome?
Will you bring the Light of hope and faith and courage?

In challenging times, it is best to step out with courage and contribute to the solution.
In dark times, it is helpful to bring the light of gratitude and blessings for all.
In times of conflict, it is helpful to be the peacemaker, peace prayer, peacekeeper.
In times of lack and loss, pain and suffering, it is time to contribute comfort, assurance and trust.

Yes, you and I are the ones who can give, and forgive and reach out with love.
We can offer rest for the weary, food for the hungry and  comfort to the suffering.
We can offer education to the ignorant, inspiration to the discouragement and strength to the weak.
We can pray for the faithless, vision to the sightless and safety to the fearful.

Giving to others requires that we take impeccable care of ourselves in every way.
Being our best physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually is key to being helpful.
And as we give to ourselves in the highest and best ways, we are teaching and reaching others.
During significant times, we must make significant changes for the best for all.

Simply ask inside your heart and mind what you can do to be the best you can be?
Take inventory of what will allow your whole life to be blessed and a blessing to all.
Look at the part you play to awaken, lift up, inspire, demonstrate and lead others.
Realize you are making a positive difference with everything you do for the Good of All.

Loving you,
Betty Lue

This will help yourself and others to remember.
Take one step at a time and you will see the difference in you and around you.

How Did You Grow Up?

I grew up with no gossip in my home.
We didn’t talk about one another behind anyone’s back.
If there was something to be discussed, we talked openly.
My parents talked with us, never about us to others.
I never learned to gossip and have secrets. ( So I didn’t pick up that unhealthy habit.)

Children were included in everything, because they were seen as equals.
When there was a family decision to be made, we were included in the discussion.
When we had chores to do, everyone participated.
When we saved money for a family trip to Europe, we all put money in the jar.
I see everyone as my equals, with no one more important or less important.

I never heard my parents cry or complain about lack of money, ability or someone to lean on.
We learned how to sew and cook, to make do with what we had and be grateful and happy with it.
We always had plenty to share with others and our home was open for visitors, family and strangers.
I never felt sorry for myself or saw us as poor, incapable or dependent on anyone.
And I have always seen strangers as my spiritual family, the family of humanity.

I grew up with no fearful messages or warnings from my parents.
I saw my parents give encouragement and support to strangers, homeless and needy.
They volunteered with youth in our church, foster kids, delinquent kids and others along the way.
They volunteered with AFS, SCORE, credit counseling, taxes for elderly, braille transcription, mentally and physically challenged, and always had time for neighbors and family members needs.
I learned Giving, sharing and volunteering is a way of creating a better world for everyone.

We learned about and talked about all religions, philosophical and moral issues.
Meal time discussions were always interesting and open to all ideals, ideas and opinions.
Children were treated with equal respect to our elders and everyone’s voice was heard.
We recognized everyone’s perspective without needing to make anyone wrong.
I continue to expand my acceptance and recognition of all viewpoints by respecting the individual.

We saw no one as weak or incapable or less valuable.
We all worked with those who had mental, physical and financial challenges in various volunteer jobs.
We shared with one another how we could be truly helpful and encouraging without creating dependency.
My Mom’s expressed philosophy: Give everyone as much responsibility as they can handle and a little more to grow into. I learned to trust others to do what they could and to free others by believing in them.

God was not described or explained, but seen as Love expressed in Good Works.
Church was a place to explore ways to give Love and discuss moral dilemmas and to express ourselves.
The ministers and their families were often our friends with whom we shared activities and ideas.
I grew up watching adults engage in meaningful, helpful activities and exploring better ways to live.
I learned to always grow in faith, in service, in learning and contributing to a better world.

It is never too late to begin to experiment with how you want to relate and contribute to others.
It is never too late to create opportunities to heal, forgive, learn and grow, bless and inspire.
It is never too late, so why not begin today.
Loving you and all,
Betty Lue

Does It Matter?

Do you talk to your children, your friends, your partner about what really matters to you/?
Do you discuss what you believe and admire and choose to be and do and have?
Do you care what others believe about you and your integrity, ethics and life choices?
Do you recognize that you are wearing, teaching and demonstrating all the time?

When I was growing up, we ate together talking about what really mattered to us?
Even before school age, there were always discussions about what was helpful.
There was always time to talk on the way to school or the way home from church.
I was never told what to think and feel and believe, because I observed my role models.

I never saw my parents go to bed angry.
I never heard them cursing or yelling at anyone.
I never knew name-calling, bullying or denying a request from someone in need.
I never felt parents too busy to listen to what I believed or felt or needed.

I knew about problems in the world, because we discussed them and how to help.
I knew some people were ignorant, unkind or impoverished, but we focused on being educated, kind and sharing what we had with others.
I knew life could have difficulties, but I knew there was always a way to solve all problems.
I knew there might be some sorrow, but I knew self-pity, tears, fear and doubt were useless.

When we watched TV, we watched inspiring shows.
When we saw the news, we discussed how we could make a better world.
When we heard of someone’s need, we discussed how we could help and responded as a family.
Nothing was kept secret from children, because we knew what we thought and did made a difference.

I invite us each to look at how we relate to one another, how we speak and behave.
We are teaching our children and grandchildren by what we watch on TV and internet.
We are talking to ourselves and others by what we say on the phone, what we text and email.
We are creating the world we have with every thought, word and interaction.

Yes, it matters.
Being rude or crude matters.
Being unkind or abusive in language or tone matters.
Being disrespectful of our elders, our children or ourselves matters.

What we buy, how we dress, what we participate in…..all we do matters.
We are setting the example, the context, the values for the coming generations.
If we believe nothing matters, then nothing will matter.
If we believe we can and do make a difference, we will choose wisely and consciously.

Know YOU MATTER to me.
Loving You,

No Secret Thoughts

Everything we think and say and do is teaching all.
Everything we think and say and do is being heard and observed.
Everything we think and say and do is our creative energy being expressed.
We are teachers for those we encounter in our thoughts and interactions.

Every loving thought is received by the Essence of all humanity, the universal One.
We are blessed by every beneficent thought of everyone everywhere.
When we think Good, speak Good and do Good, we are contributing Goodness to All.
Every vision of beauty, every pray of praise, every act of kindness is a blessing to everyone everywhere.

And so it is.
Every unkind thought is received and heard.
All doubtful, fearful, negative and limiting words need to be forgiven and released by all of us.
When we think yuck, speak yuck and do yucky things, we are contributing more Yucky stuff to clear.

It really is true that the complicated relationships, business dealings and bumps in the road of life are due to our defensive thoughts, fearful words and cautiousness in our activities.
We have built a world built on fear and managing our fear and controlling others’ fearful reactions.
When we forgive our fearful reactions, judgments, guilt and blame, we can clearly see with blessing.
When we look on everything with love, appreciation and open-mindedness, life is fun, safe and easy.

Yes, we can teach our world to sing in love and harmony.
We can show God’s kids how to play by being happy everyday.
We can be a shining star, when we light up our world with Joy.
We can offer a healing Presence when we forgive and bless all things.

Sounds too easy.
Feels too simple.
Seems too good to be true.
Just try it for 30 days and you will be loving the Real YOU!

I imagine that my thoughts come from the mind of God, pure Love,  and I share the Gift with all.
I speak with an intention to spread forgiveness, blessings and gratitude everywhere to everyone.
I act with the intention to create  more happiness, abundance, Love and peace in my world.
When I remember to share All the Good I have, I receive more Good to share.

Life works when our ego gets out of the way.
Love works when we lay all fear aside.
Peace works when we clear all conflicts inside ourselves.
Good is always the result when I remember the Good I Am and the Good from which I came.

You Too!
Loving you,

Can you imagine what it would be liked to be forgiven, respected, loved, appreciated and blessed All the time?
This is what I choose to give to YOU!

You Are A Flower in the Garden of Life
If you would grow to be your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing & punishing

For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is tough as war
Yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies
But we open fully only to warmth & light
And our need to grow is fragile as a fragrance
Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still

So accept, respect,
Attend your sensitivity

A flower
Cannot be opened
With a hammer

You Choose!

Do you prefer peace of mind or conflict?
Do you prefer being happy or being right?
Do you prefer being the chooser or the victim?
Do you prefer giving love or being afraid?

Life offers clear choices.
Everything is a lesson we are here to learn.
We can learn and live with peace and gratitude or get stuck in judgment, fear and resentment.
We can feel self-pity, hurt, guilt and blame and still learn to forgive all and choose again.

What would it take for us to end the cycle of insanity?
What must we do to stop doing what clearly does not work?
How can we choose a better way to think and speak and act?
What is it that we can be aware of to learn the lessons of life?

Being sensitive indicates a need to create our ideal life. (diet, relationships, activities, habits and beliefs)
Fear indicates a need to end all attack thoughts, to forgive our anger and resentment and extend Love.
Dis-ease indicates a need for peace and ease in one’s life. Create fun, safe and easy living and giving.
Conflict indicates a need for peace in our thoughts, words and actions and calls for understanding.
Sorrow and Depression indicates a need for grateful and joyful thoughts, words and deeds.
Anger and resentment indicates a need for forgiveness and extending Love to All, including oneself.

This may seem too simple.
This may seem too easy.
This may seem too confrontive to our beliefs for therapeutic intervention, taking time and hard work.
However, when we actively choose to let go of the old ways and choose a new way, we find it works.

In family relationships, we tend to follow in the pattern of our own childhood experiences.
What we saw and heard and felt our elders do is what we believe, think and do unconsciously.
When we use the “wake up” calls to remind us to choose again consciously, we forgive the past.
When we forgive and choose again, we look for what works for everyone, including ourselves.

Happiness is a sign we have found our “right” way.
Inner peace is an indication we have chosen to be aligned with what works for everyone.
Feeling Love, trust and respect for all indicates that we allow for the natural differences among people.
Letting go of our need to be right and criticizing others is key to being happy, peaceful and loving.

Can you let go of attack?
This means no more criticism, blame, judgment and making others wrong.
Can you let go of demanding your way?
This means no more bullying, pushing others to comply, or fighting to get others’ agreement.

Can you imagine the peace and happiness and love that will flow when we all let go?
Can you trust that when you change your mind, others will feel happier and healthier in your Presence?
Can you believe that you are the source of the conflict, hurt and unhappiness in your life?
Are you willing to be the change you want to see in yourself, your family and your world?
Let’s do it....one at a time or all together NOW!
