Choices

Affirmations:
I listen within and choose the highest Good.
I trust the choices I make.
I free myself to be myself.
I learn from everyone and everything, including myself.

Who Makes Choices for You?

Do you let others tell you what to do?
Do you allow strangers to make you wrong?
Do you sing what is being sung?
Do you do what is popular and go along?

Do you have your own identity?
Do you take steps to set yourself free?
Do you give in and conform?
Do you judge yourself by what others are and do?

Choose for yourself.
Gather information before you decide.
Make your choices with trust and pride.
Be the one you want to be.

Everyone has an opinion.
Everyone has their reasons why.
Everyone has a belief about what is good or bad.
Why not take the time to choose for yourself.

There is no one to blame when you take full responsibility.
There is only you to trust and choose to be.
You can make up your own mind.
You can live your own life and learn.

It takes a willingness to be true to you.
And when you don’t know what to do,
Take a risk and try it our.
You will always learn what comes about.

Life is meant to be a solitary journey of exploration and learning.
When we choose to play it safe, we get in the pack and forget the race.
When we choose to play it small, we often don’t have a voice at all.
When we choose to play it big, we choose the music at our own gig.

We seem to think life belongs to the teachers, preachers and others stars.
We seem to give our power to those rich and famous, expert and loud.
We seem to imagine we might get hurt if standing out of the crown.
We can choose to listen within and take each step with freedom and trust to win.

There are so many choices and so many voices, how can you decide?
Listen within to your own heart and will.
Listen to what moves you with gratitude and joy.
Listen to what empowers and inspires you to keep going.

Choose what works for you.
Choose to follow or to lead.
Choose to play it small or big.
Choose to be happy or live with regret.

The lessons we are here to learn will show up.
If we don’t get them once, they simply come again.
If we listen closely, we get them quickly and easily.
Life gives us a pass and we have fun, safety and ease.

Make your own choices and learn.
Loving the learning,

Amends

Affirmations:
I forgive myself for any harm I may have caused anyone anywhere and anytime.
I acknowledge and forgive anyplace conscious or unconscious I have been unloving or unkind.
I relinquish all attack, resentment or limiting beliefs.
I clear any and all unkind thoughts, words and behavior.

Apologies and Amends!

Whatever harm you have done, make amends.
Whatever stories you have told, apologize.
Whatever wrong you have committed, confess your mistakes.
Whatever hurt you have caused, do whatever you can to heal it.

It may never be enough to the ones who were hurt or humiliated, but you can begin to heal yourself.
It may never right the wrong, but you can acknowledge what was your true intention.
It may never clear the guilt and shame, hurt and pain, but you can begin to forgive yourself.
It may never be enough to clean up the loss, separation and upset. But begin to do the work.

Life gives us opportunities to heal and reveal the hidden truth
Life teaches us lessons of right and wrong, so we can learn to listen to our conscience.
Life shows us what works and doesn’t work, so we can make smart choices.
Life shines a light on what is good for one and all, so we can choose with compassion.

We all can make amends for our ignorance.
We can make apologies for being inconsiderate.
We can stop telling hurtful stories on ourselves and others.
We can give up name-calling, shaming and blaming.

We all can stop the fad of crude language and disrespectful communication.
We can each put at end to negative trends which offend.
We can individually stop hiding from the secrets of our past.
We can become aware, confess, and forgive the foolish errors.

Whenever we feel guilt, we can forgive ourselves.
When we feel resentment, we can forgive ourselves
When we feel hurt, we can forgive ourselves.
When we feel foolish, we can forgive ourselves.

Forgiveness is key to undoing what seemed to be.
Forgiveness erases what was and allows love to flow.
Forgiveness is letting go of the blocks to love’s flow.
Forgiveness gives us the freedom and make things right again.

When will we mend the separation?
When will we stop humiliation?
When we begin honest conversation?
When will we choose reparation?

There is so much healing we can do.
Let us start with me and you.
Forgiving all errors in my mind, words and behavior.…for myself and all humanity.
Forgiveness sets us free to begin again.

Responsible

Affirmations:
I am willing and able to be responsible for my life.
I take impeccable care of my whole self to be fully able.
I choose to always respond with the Love I Am to all situations.
I teach others to be response-able by giving them the freedom to do so.

Are You Willing and Able to Be Responsible?

To be responsible means we are able and willing to respond with what is needed.
To be response-able is to be willing and able to respond with love.
When we are responsible for ourselves, we respond to our own needs in a positive and kind way.
When we take on responsibility for others, we claim we are able to respond to others the same.

Responsibility need not be a burden but a privilege to take the best care of ourselves and others.
Responsibility can be a powerful opportunity to give our very best in all circumstances.
Responsibility is what it means to be an adult who is mature and conscientious.
Responsibility goes along with the freedom to choose what is best for us and for others.

Some people are responsible as young children and thrive in their responsibilities.
They become thoughtful and wise, strong and capable, creative and helpful to all.
Some people are not allowed to be responsible as young children and become negligent in responsibilities.
They become thoughtless and selfish, weak and irresponsible, dependent and fearful.

When children are given responsibilities at appropriate times, they become happy and peaceful.
When children are denied responsibilities, they often feel depressed, angry and negligent.
Children like to be pleased with themselves and their choices and activities and so do adults.
When they are blamed, criticized, pushed and punished, they may become resistant and feel incapable.

We can find freedom in our lives when we are responsible.
We can make wise choices with enough experience to learn from.
We can step up with trust in ourselves when encouraged to try new experiences.
We can enjoy become a responsible adult when we grow with natural mistakes and successes.

First, we must become responsible for ourselves and our daily activities.
Learn to take care of our own basic needs for healthy eating, clean homes, active self supporting lives.
Do you take impeccable care of your physical health?
This is learned in infancy when we are taught to sleep and eat and play in healthy ways daily.

Do you take responsibility for your mental and emotional health?
Do you read, watch and spend time learning everyday?
Do you enjoy the company of others whom you can play, work and learn from?
Are you able to be helpful and kind to those you encounter on a daily basis?

Do you have a sense of humor and know how to have fun?
Can you laugh at yourself and easily forgive your mistakes?
Do you quickly and easily let go of self criticism, embarrassment and misunderstandings?
Everything in life is a safe opportunity to learn to be responsible for your own happiness.

Learn to focus first on being responsible for your own health, happiness and success.
Choose to learn from everything and everyone.
Be willing to give yourself freedom without blame or guilt.
Trust that Being Responsible is Fun, Safe and Easy!!

I trust you and free you to do and be as you are called to learn, heal and contribute.
Blessings abide with us all.
