Purpose for Being

When we discover our inner motivation for being here, it is far easier to make choices that support our being.
Three generalized possibilities:
When we know this lifetime is to serve our own growth and development, we choose support.
When we know we are here to explore intimacy and companionship, we choose deep connection.
When we know we are here to contribute to the betterment of others, we choose service.

Each of us has our own focus and instinctual motivation which inspires us in certain directions.
When we are fulfilling our parents’ or societal expectations or desires, we mistakenly choose their path.
When we forgive external guidance and allow ourselves to listen within, we find our true purpose.
When we listen within and trust, honor and respect our path and purpose, life becomes clear and conscious.

To come to the realization of what our true purpose is frees us to choose the lifestyle, people and opportunities that support our integrity.
To know our purpose and live at odds is a waste of energy, a source of dissatisfaction and self denial.
To live our purpose fully and freely, renders us clear, energized, happy and super effective.
To discover our passion and purpose is like realigning with our own unique High Way.

Life can be fun, safe and easy only when we drop our distractions, detours, disappointments and delays.
We let go of our complaints and victimization when we are willing to take full responsibility for our choices.
We free ourselves to choose again when we hold no judgments, no guilt or blame, for making mistakes.
We love, trust and respect ourselves and our lives when we live on purpose with integrity.

So this is your work and mine.
Discover the Piece of God You Are.
Explore the Purpose or calling for which you have volunteered.
Follow the Path that supports your purposeful calling.

There is no hardship or difficulty in doing what God in you has appointed you Truth.
Take time to undo everything that is less than whole and Loving and trust what remain.
Life is simple and straightforward.
Humanity has created the complexity and crookedness.

Be still and see what your life really has been about.
What really matters to you in everyone encounter?
What really matters to you in how you spend your time?
What really matters to you in the way to live and love and give?

Once we determine our Higher Purpose in Being Here Now, we must eliminate the contradictions.
Where there are conflicting interests, it is difficult to be focused and successful.
Where there is confusion within, we cannot discern the inner voice.
Where there is laziness and lack of consciousness, we do not see the turn in the road.

Give your life your very best.
Assume nothing and be aware of everything.
Appreciate every choice and within it you will see its value.
Trust and respect you all along the way and your will be trusted and respected.

Life is your sacred journey.
Pay attention and Appreciate the Beauty and Goodness along the way.

Goodness is Given for the Sake of Giving Good

Questions to ponder:
Have you ever wanted to have what you want?
Have you questioned why some have and some seem not?
Have you practiced the principles of prosperity without adequate result?
Have you given, but never seemed to get?

Are we dealing with an imagined belief that the individual is more important than the whole?
Are we accustomed to being so egocentric that we believe one cell is more significant than the body?
Are we so caught in the paradigm of competition and each man for himself that we think selfishly?
Are we teaching our “specialness” is the key to success and prosperity, happiness and health?

I have been noticing how much of our world lives in the instinctual subtype of “Self Preservation”.
“My needs, my goals, my desires, my healing, my security and my growth are primary in this lifetime.”
This is not bad or good: it simply is essential for those who believe it is essential for them.
They often believe they are special, needy, important, better than, more actualized, the chosen or …..
Self-serving and sometimes selfish, but essential to this learned way of believing and perceiving.
When one comes from this place, they project everyone is like them.

The Haitian help is coming mostly from those with a “social –global” instinctual subtype.
They see the world as a place where everyone deserves fairness, the same rights and opportunities.
They desire to create a better place where everyone can be happy, healthy and successful.
They look for a way to contribute to the greater whole, the family, the community and the world.
Finding their place in the collective whole is where they belong and serve and need to be.
When one comes from this place, they often believe others need to be equally generous and giving.

The “relational” or “sexual” instinctual subtype seeks to bond with another.
The world is seen as a place to create intimate connections,.(twin souls, like minds, best friends, etc.)
We seek the One who understands us, the special relationship that is unconditionally loving, the beloved with whom we live happily ever after.
Some may spend their life seeking for that special Soulmate who fulfills our fantasies.
We seek the Union of minds and bodies, the opportunity to create an eternal interdependence.

With these differing perspectives and motivations, we have very different values and lifestyles.
Our beliefs about God and success and being fulfilled are all very different.
And our requests from the Universe for prosperity and Good in our lives show up distinctly different.
So it is that we must never assume our world view is similar.

To the self preservation subtype, we need to get in order to have anything to give or do or be.”
To the relationship subtype, we need to have to be able to share with our beloved.
To the social/global type, the purpose for having is to give to one and all.
There is much to be learned and individualized from these generalizations.
( I write from a global perspective.)

Why create or manifest Abundance for the sake of simply having lots of Good?
Why would we imagine the Universe to give to some and take from others?
How could it be that a Loving God loves some especially well and others with less?
Could it be that we have projected “our God” to be motivated in the same ways we are?

Trusting that you will explore and learn and expand your consciousness for the sake of All,

Values Differences

What people value tells you what choices they will make.
What choices people make tell you their values.
What we value is what we want in our lives.
What we value most determines where we put out time, energy and money.

When there is a difference in values with another, there will be difficulty in communication.
Where there are values differences, there will be misunderstandings and misperceptions.
To recognize differences before they cause conflict and misunderstand is a key to harmony.
To become aware of the difference, one must first be aware of their own true values.

To live in integrity is to live and practice the values one espouses publically.
Often people say they value one thing, but neglect that value in daily life.
Or sometime people believe they are valuing something, but have learn to live in conflict and doubt.
Taking the time to observe, question and actively live your values is a key to fulfillment and happiness.

Some questions to ask yourself:
Do you value giving or getting more?
Do you give to “get” something?  If so, what do you want to “get” in return?
What is most valued for your to give?
What do you want most to “get”?  From your family, from your work, from your life?

What is the most important resource you have?
How do you want most to spend that resource?
What is the most valued possession at this time in your life?
How do you demonstrate that you value this possession?

What are the three most important experience  of  your life?
How do you treat (show you value) those experiences?
Are you aware of how you are different from others?
How do you show your values’ differences?

What do you hope will always be there for you as a trusted support and source of security?
What do you want to know you will always have to be able to live happily and safely?
What do you believe you need to do with your life to have your values be met consistently?
Who holds similar values to you and what are their most important values?

Who are those with whom you share your deepest values and most heart felt concerns?
If they were asked what you value most, what would they say?
How do you deny or ignore what you value most?
What could you do to better live and support your most important values?

Those who live and walk in integrity will be powerful, happy and fulfilled.
Blessings of Love,

Betty Lue

I honor values differences.
Our values determine our life path, our learning and growth, our healing and contributions.
Clarify your own values and then change your choices and lifestyle accordingly.
You need not explain, justify or convince others to make the changes to come into greater integrity.
You need but simply choose for what is highest and best for you.

What Needs Healing Attention?

During our spiritual retreat in Hawaii, I have once again begun to explore what needs to be seen, acknowledged, forgiven, accepted, healed and used for good.
When we retain our past history, unconscious limitations, our ancestral beliefs, judgments and fears,
We allow them to confuse and cloud the inner truth of our wholeness, Goodness and Innocence.

As I was listening this AM, I realized food, friendship, forgiveness, fears and faith are keys.

The fuel we choose for our body and our psyche is essential to that which we believe we are.
The friends and family, those we associate with create a circle of comfort and compliance.
The way we handle our fears, believing or relieving them, is the choice to contract or expand.
The forgiveness of mistakes, yours, mine and ours, determines the freedom and trust in which we live.
The faith we have in ourselves, our Source, humanity and our world culture determines our future.

I will be sharing more on these areas in future writings, I am sure.
Here in Hawaii on retreat, we will be exploring how and what we eat, with whom we share our hopes and dreams, the ways we handle our predominant fears, how easily we forgive and where we place our faith.
These five determine our destiny, our health, happiness and life fulfillment.

Only when we have consciously and consistently handled these areas, can we begin to free ourselves to live the life for which we volunteered.
Only when we have healed the past and are choosing the best in the present can we realize our true purpose in Being.
Only when we are ingesting what is highest and best for body and mind can we be magnificent in thought, word and deed.
Only when we are associating with those who encourage and inspire us, support and appreciate, can we actualize the best within humanity.
Only when we meet our fears with courage and resilience can we free ourselves to know limitless Love.
Only when we are willing to forgive everyone and everything for all time, including ourselves, can we be free.
Only when we have faith in the intrinsic Goodness and Love in all creation can we go forth with enthusiasm and perfect Trust in the Highest Outcome for All.

It is time to decide to forgive (erase) all, taking thought for nothing, and trusting Truth within.
It is our work to give up using habitual excuses and justifications and allow our inner Light to shine.
It is our moment to be present with those we encounter with authenticity, honesty and compassion.
It is our healing purpose to see beneath the apparent drama and trauma to the Awakening within.
It is fuel for the Soul to know we are one family, one together, ascending in faith and Love.

I am loving me and you and all of us as One,
Blessing of beauty and bounty, and radiant Joy,
Betty Lue

Off To Hawaii

Traveling Again January 26 to February 4.

Off to Hawaii with a small group for our retreat.
Please come next year if you are called.

I am available by phone if needed for consultation during the week.
We expect to return renewed and revitalized with our 2010 vision in place.
See below the schedule for the next few month.
Also pics of the grandkids from the last trip to the snow and some Holiday fun.

Know wherever you are Goodness is.
We must be aware of good in you and share it freely to experience Good for ourselves.
Life provides us with the solutions.
They lie within the recognition that we are the Gift.

When we are willing to be and see the Gift of Good we are, we share it freely, without condition.
When we withhold the Good waiting to be given to first, we deny ourselves and others.
We were mistakenly taught that giving must be only for special times or special ones.
Goodness is meant to be remembered and shared everyday with everyone.

Goodness shines through the Love in our hearts.
Goodness remains clear and powerful when given consistently.
Goodness is the way to remember our true nature.
Goodness is the ideal way to be happy everyday.

Be Good to you.
Be Good to those you encounter.
Be Good just because it feels Good!

Loving you, really Good!

We will return for the Sunday Service, Feb. 6 and our Workshop on Love!

Are You Loving You Well?

“If you loved yourself enough, you would be the happiest and most powerful being in the world.” E. Fox
Is it possible that we have missed the message given for all the greatest spiritual teachers?
Can it be that the admonition to never be arrogant or selfish or think the best about ourselves is false?
Could the simple philosophy of “Know ThySelf.” And “Be true you yourself.” be accurate?

Perhaps in the fear of those who led, they falsely disempowered the Will of Good within the people.
Perhaps our egos have held the backward and upside down belief that the strong must fall.
Perhaps in our unconsciousness we have allowed ourselves to think more of others than ourselves.
Perhaps in obedience to external authority, we have forgotten to honor the wisdom and Good within.

To experience more Good, we must believe it exist and seek it.
To encourage more Good, we must exalt and empower it.
To invite more Good, we must model and exemplify it.
To support more Good, we must value and reward it.

Love the Good in You.
Admire the Goodness you do.
Respect the Good in You.
Support doing Good for you.

Treat yourself with admiration.
Protect the Love in You.
Talk to your self with kindness.
Honor the Good Being you are.

Be forgiving of all your perceived mistakes.
Surrender your past errors to be used for the Good of All.
Remember “All things work together for Good.”
Be gentle and appreciative in all you are learning.

Take time to listen within, to connect with Source.
Give yourself appreciation daily and be grateful for Life.
Open your heart to new opportunities for Loving.
Be  impeccable with your promises to yourself and others.

Keep your house and car and work place free from clutter.
Clutter represents the past stuff you don’t need, don’t use or don’t like.
Clear your mind and your heart of everything that is not helpful or loving.
Stop telling any stories about you or others that are unkind or unappreciative.

Be willing to learn.
Be happy to live.
Be open to give.
Be trusting to serve.

You see in the end, it is those who serve the Greater Good who have happy and fulfilling lives.
Loving you,

Betty Lue

How To Love Yourself
Criticism never changes a thing. Refuse to criticize yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. Everybody changes. When you criticize yourself, your changes are negative. When you approve of yourself, your changes are positive.
Stop terrorizing yourself with your thoughts. It’s a dreadful way to live. Find a mental image that gives you pleasure (mine is yellow roses), and immediately switch your scary thought to a pleasure thought.
Be gentle with yourself. Be kind to yourself. Be patient with yourself as you learn the new ways of thinking. Treat yourself as you would someone you really loved.
Criticism breaks down the inner spirit. Praise builds it up. Praise yourself as much as you can. Tell yourself how well you are doing with every little thing.
Self hatred is only hating your own thoughts. Don’t hate yourself for having the thoughts. Gently change your thoughts.
Find ways to support yourself. Reach out to friends and allow them to help you. It is being strong to ask for help when you need it.
Acknowledge that you created them to fulfill a need. Now you are finding new, positive ways to fulfill those needs. So, lovingly release the old negative patterns.
Learn about nutrition. What kind of fuel does your body need to have optimum energy and vitality? Learn about exercise. What kind of exercise can you enjoy? Cherish and revere the temple you live in.
Look into your eyes often. Express this growing sense of love you have for yourself. Forgive yourself looking into the mirror. Talk to your parents looking into the mirror. Forgive them too. At least once a day say: “I love you, I really love you!”
Don’t wait until you get well, or lose the weight, or get the new job, or the new relationship. Begin now, and do the best you can.

Everyone Can Listen Within!

Yes, you too can listen within.
Beneath the voices of judgment and fear, guilt and shame, separation and lack, is the quiet Voice of Unconditional Love.
When you hear this voice, this knowing, this feeling, you will find Healing and Peace.
Our inner guidance system can be accessed when we simply still our mind and listen.

We come into earthly form with a connection with our True Identity, Spirit Within.
When the outer voices become loud and demanding (people around us), we are distracted.
We learn to listen the the outer voices of authority, rather than honor the inner voice.
To be willing and able to hear deeper than the worldly chatter, we must take time and space to listen.

Some call it intuition.
Some see it as the Voice of God.
Some call it channeling or prophecy or psychic awareness.
Some simply sit and listen and know.

Listening within requires practice for most.
Set aside a regular time daily.
Bring a pad and pen to your chose place where you will not be interrupted.
Come with an open mind and willingness to receive Goodness and wisdom.
Forgive yourself if you are feeling unworthy.  (use the 30 day Diet for Awakening to clear your self.)
Be willing to connect by writing your willingness or a prayer or bible verse or simply, “I trust you God.”
Then listen within and write down everything you hear or feel or sense or know or see inside.
You must be willing to listen consistently to have your ego stop any interference or distortion.
You can soon discern what is your learned fear-based messages and what is the Voice of Spirit.
Ask questions as they come to you. Write them down and immediately write any answers that come.
Al;ways ask for the highest Truth, the Highest Source…
Keep turning your inner tuning dial until you can discern a  place that is consistently loving, supporting and encouraging You!
When you come to realize that the loving voice in your mind is for your inner guidance, you come to respect and follow with trust.

We all have a place of spiritual connection.  Take the time to find it and respect what is given. Receive the Good that is yours. Blessings of peace, Betty Lue Let the Good in You  come through!

1/18/2010 Inner Guidance received from a reader specifically for her.  ( Do you see yourself here too?)
Believe that you are enough.  You can let go of the past.  You can heal your relationship to your past.  Who you are now in the moment needs no forgiveness, no explanation; She (you) are brand new in this moment.  You can forgive your old self and realize that she (who you were) did the best she knew how in those moments.  For the love of her now, be open to release her - she is gone, but she is who has given birth to the you you are today in this moment, and she deserves to be honored and respected and forgiven for coming up short at any time.  This allows you to be born new and free of what was, without the weight of personal disappointment in yourself or others, because every other person is new in this moment as well.  The earth shook, breaking free and shedding the old structures of perception, allowing a new world to be born anew, your world, our world.  See the mirror... see the possibility. Blessings...In love and gratitude.

And my experience from 33 years. Ago.

Origin of Inner Listening

In 1976 it was suggested I sit and do nothing for just five minutes daily by a spiritual mentor/teacher.
I chose 5AM in the morning and immediately saw/felt and heard a vision of a Home of Infinite Love available to all people.  ( Over the years,  I have co-created many such Centers and Homes with the guidance of Spirit within.) The next morning I brought a pad of paper and a pen to sit, and as I was simply breathing, I knew words were coming into my mind and I wrote them down.  When I later read them, I saw they had great spiritual meaning.  As an innocent, trusting and ‘True Believer’, I then quieted myself every morning and began to follow what I heard within.  My life became fun, safe, easy and miraculous in so many ways.  I learned, forgave and grew spiritually daily from every relationships.  This is was the origin of what I call “inner listening” and have taught to hundreds of willing learners over the last 30 years.

The Origin of emailed Loving Reminders
In the winter of 1998, having just moved back to the Bay Area in California, I asked Spirit within what was my purpose and calling.  I was invited to sit at the computer and write down my daily inner listening and send it to those who requested it of me.  Since Dec, 1998 I have  sat at my keyboard, everyday to write exactly what Spirit within guides.  I do not edit, correct spelling and embellish what I hear.  I simply send what is given to me to share with the now thousands around the world.
This is my inner listening given to all who choose to receive them.  Often it gives people what they need, practical spiritual and inspiring reminders, so they need not spend money on  hours of therapy or endless seeking for spiritual answers.  They seem to awaken and remind individuals who are willing and ready to change their lives for the Good of All.  I also have put many of the reminders into three little books, Loving Reminders, Peaceful Reminders and Relationship Reminders.  There are two other books waiting to be published, Healing and Healthy Reminders.  It is my joy to contribute to the healing and awakening of my spiritual family, all humanity.

May be all be benefited and blessed by every good and kind intention of everyone everywhere.
Blessed be. Betty Lue  “True B’Lue”

Remember: The blessings already are and we are now awakening to enjoy them.

More of the Same or Something New

Are you Giving?
It is essential that we all give whatever we can to our Haitian brothers and sisters who are in dire need.  Everyone, even children, can give something to this cause.
To learn the value of giving without condition is essential to begin to value the unlimited reSource from which we all come and return.
When we give to those who have need, we are giving to all humanity.  Let us provide the basic needs for survival and then to share opportunities for remembering we are one family.  We can offer opportunities for education and inspiration, for achievement and creativity, for experiences of freedom and safety.  Each one of us can find the place in our lives to give. This last weekend Reunion Ministries gave 100% of the contributions by our retreat participants= $1062.  We will be giving consistently to the rebuilding of the hospitals, schools, businesses and homes after the basic survival needs are met. Can you join us in answering the call?.

Loving you,
Betty Lue and Robert

More of the Same or Something New

If you want more of the same in your life and your relationships, keep focusing on what is wrong.
If you want something new and beautiful, clear the past and stop trying to fix the old.
Some like to repair what is broken.
Some value the process of correcting others’ mistakes.
Some simply affirm what is working and let the rest undo itself.

Metaphysically, we know that where you place your attention, you create more.
When we focus on what is wrong, we believe and see there are more mistakes and problems.
When we notice, affirm and appreciate what we value, we increase what we want to experience.
Life gives us what we energize with our attention.

We often learn in school to notice and correct all mistakes.
Our learned programming is to try not to make errors.
We often look at ourselves and our work looking for problems to solve.
We actually exaggerate and emphasize our mistakes and wrong-doing.

When we stop trying to correct and truly work on expanding the Good, mistakes are lessened.
When we let of worry and fear, we find trust and love in its place.
When we allow the flow of creativity and divine possibility into our minds, we feel confident.
When we set our minds free from limited thinking, we believe and see openness and clearing.

When we can celebrate the good we see, we are empowered to do more good.
When we appreciate the gifts and blessings, we believe and create more goodness.
When we let go of limitation and praise God for possibility, we know how to flow.
When we free ourselves from self doubt and trust in higher power, we can be the blessing.

Yes, even in tragedy and disaster, death and destruction, we can be the ones to offer strength.
Even when we do not know the answers, we can trust they will come.
Even when it is dark and cold and lacking, we can know the light and warmth and provision will come.
Even when we seek to see the Gift in All, we must believe there is hope and faith and Love.

We are the ones who must carry the torch of gratitude, celebration and Love.
We are among those who are here to remember and relay the Good News.
We are the ones who in the dark times must sing the songs of forgiveness and faith.
We are the ones to bring hope to the despairing and comfort to the bereft.
In this we do the healing and Holy work of the enlightened Christ Self within.

Let’s stop complaining about our petty earthly concerns and start realizing our true calling.
Let’s surrender our worries and start by believing in the miracles that come from Love.
Let’s release our judgments and analysis and roll up our sleeves to do the Good that is needed.
Let’s let go of our dark imaginings and hopelessness and provide joyfully and abundantly for all.

We can and we shall be the Ones to Light our world with Love.
Loving all of us as One,

Betty Lue

Don’t you love syncronicity!  Same day, same topic.

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 Daily Word
Let Go, Let God
I release and allow God's magnificence to flow through me.
This little phrase is a powerful statement of Truth: Let go, let God.
I know that when I cling to what I perceive as a problem, my mind races to try to fix it. In this mode,
I am working the problem instead of allowing the solution. By releasing my grip, I allow divine wisdom to flow freely within me.
Let go, let God, isn't about giving up; it is about going to the Source.
Rather than casting my hands up in despair, I open my heart and mind and go within in prayer. In the silence, the answers I have been chasing rise to the surface easily. Miracles occur.
When I step out of the way and allow divine guidance to flow, I unleash the wisdom of God within me.
I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me.--John 5:30

When we come into bodies, we have a birth day.
When an institution comes into form legitimized legally, it is incorporated.
Friday was the incorporation birth day for Reunion in Jan. 15, 1981.
After five years in service with classes, family potlucks, weekly Sunday and Friday spiritual fellowship, many retreats, workshops, counseling and spiritual direction to hundreds of individuals and families, Reunion was formally born 1981, as a 501.C3 with legal non-profit status.  We have continued our work for 34 wonderful years.

We have been and continue to be a space of freedom and trust where people gather to find their true inner identity as the Love They Are.  When we reunite with the Love within, we experience the reunification with others and with our Spiritual Source.  Some call the Creator, God, Yahweh, Jehovah, Infinite Goodness and some have no name for the Omniscient and Omnipresent.  It is in our inner and outer Reunion that we come to know the Peace that passes all understanding.  There is Love and only Love and the call for Love prevail in all things. With the incorporation of Reunion, I have been called to many places of service with creating community centers, programs for service through holistic healing, counseling and ministry. In all the Good work, there is always provision through the Love of those who contribute directly to Reunion and those who contribute and serve in their families, communities and in our world.  In Reunion, we realize we are all working with Love for the same healing and Holy Purpose.
We recognize it is together that fulfills and inspires, that touches and teaches everyone everywhere.

I am blessed with the awareness that we are all together, reunited in the Spirit, the vision and the activity of Love.  As we grow in trust and freedom, we all will awaken to the Joy and abundance that comes from actively Loving All.
Some loving reminders for our Healing and Holy Work.

·     Love everyone, but first Love Your whole Self.
·     Give the best you have in every interaction.
·     Forgive mistakes and omissions of yourself and others as you go.
·     Take time to appreciate your self and your givingness
·     Consistently forgive and release the past.
·     Let Spirit in you make all things new.
·     Trust that everything is working together for Good.
·     Be willing to see and seek and appreciate what is working for Good.
·     Be willing to ignore, undo and erase what appears not to be working.
·     Offer praise, thanksgiving and choose always and only for the Highest Good.

Loving you as we come together in Love for the sole Purpose of Loving,

What Can We Do?

When we see or hear of a problem, tragedy or disaster, we can stop, listen within and respond.
When our energy is (emotionally or physically) disturbed by something, we are called to respond.
When we are upset or confused by what appears to be “wrong”, we can ask for spiritual help.
When we are not happy, at peace and in love, we need to respond with Love to return to love.

We simply don’t know what to do or we would respond with love without coaching or guidance.
Love is our natural state. When we are in love, miracles happen naturally.
When we are at peace, we have understanding and know how to respond.
When we are happy, we are unafraid and easily respond with love.

Love is trust.
Trust in the Highest Outcome.
Trust in the God within Everything and EveryOne.
Trust in the Good in humanity.

Love is Freedom.
Freedom from fear.
Freedom to Forgive.
Freedom to Give freely.

When we are afraid of doing it “Wrong”, we react with fear.
When we are afraid we don’t know what to do, we react with confusion.
When we are afraid we don’t have enough, we try to respond and withhold.
When we are afraid something might happen to us, we increase the fear and lack and limitation.

What is natural?
Love is our natural state.
When we recognize we are Love, we give easily and freely.
When we remember that Love begets Love, we celebrate the creation of Love by giving Love freely.

How do we respond to any and every problem or disaster?
Trust brings peace, generosity and open flow.
Peace.  Offer a mental or verbal blessing or positive prayer for All concerned.
Contribution.  Give tribute to the God within each individual, those being helped and the helpers.
Generosity. Give the best you have without concern for your Self.
Gratitude.  Appreciative for all the gifts of love and blessing, to meet the needs of everyone involved.

When we have no need for disasters or problems as reminders to grow and strengthen our trust, peace, contribution generosity and gratitude, perhaps we will have no more.  This is our time to respond with joyful appreciation, trust and peace, giving all we are willing to bless, heal and benefit those in need.
This is our time to give to our neighbors, those on the street, in our workplace and family, those we think of and those who think of us, recognizing we are all One family, One Son, One people and One Planet.
This is our moment to remember we are here to heal, to remember our holiness and to awaken that remembrance in everyone as One.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

What Does It All Mean?

What is this disaster teaching us?
How are we to respond?
What does this mean for our safety?
What can we learn?

Haiti calls for our attention, our compassion and response.
Some people will ignore it and go on as normal.
Some people will question “Where is God?”
Some people will be frightened about their own safety?
Some people will send money.
Some people will wonder what is happening to the earth.
Some people will judge and criticize the relief efforts.
Some people will go into action with their own disaster plan.
Some people will meditate and send Peace.
Some people will listen and ask, “What can I do?”
Some people will gather themselves to go and help.

What do you do?
What can you learn?
How are you responding?
What we do is what brings us peace or upset?

When we respond to what inner voice guides, it will always bring us peace.
When we resist or deny what we hear and know inside, we will have regret or blame.
When we live according to our place of awareness and learning, we feel trusting and calm.
When we go against what is our place in the circle of humanity, we will be haunted and frustrated.

Live the way that follows your spiritual guideposts.
Give what is the gifting and blessing that fulfills your soul.
Honor the path within that offers you the Peace of knowing your own Goodness.
Choose the way that guides you to a life of great trust and freedom.

When listening within, I recognize each will hear answers that fit with our level of  focus, spiritual development and our part in the awakening and the remembrance of Love.

Life is a hologram.  Everything and everyone is a part of all that is.
When humanity learns to release its tensions and stresses with gentleness and ease, we will no longer experience catastrophe.
The Earth has been storing the buildup of stress.
When energy is released under great pressure, it is violent and often do great harm.

When humans learn to acknowledge, take responsibility and release their stresses immediately with ease, there need be no harm.
Humanity has learned to condemn and dam up their energies and when they are released through accidents, wars, violent interactions, there is harm physically, emotionally, mentally and in relationships and economy.

People can learn to stop doing harm and experiencing harm when we respond to each need, each call for help immediately with the love that is in us.
When our love reservoir is depleted through our own lack of attention to our needs or misalignment of our own values, we lack the reserves to give when called and to serve when help is needed.

Take heed and respond to your own inner voice with no irritation or hesitation.
Know you are here to give to your self and one another, before there is a buildup of withheld energy which can erupt into destructive pain, violence and disaster.

Change with ease and kindness.
Release stress with respect for all.
Undo the unconscious habits and behaviors that are not respectful for the Greatest Good.
Give your yourself what you wish to give to the most Precious among you.
For when you learn to love yourself with kindness, respect, gentleness, patience and trust, you will willingly give to all others the same.

Life is meant to be a learning experience.  Everything is your teacher.
When you attend to the teaching with respect and eager responsiveness, the lessons are fun, safe and easy.
Let this be a reminder to be
happy and willing to learn. “

Blessings of Peaceful and conscious learning,

Betty Lue

New Beginnings

To begin again, we need to put closure on the old ways and complete what was.
There is a strong call for honorable closure with forgiveness and gratitude.
Where we still have grievances, we will drag them with us.
Where we continue to live with regret, our guilt will keep us stuck in the past.

It is essential to begin anew with a clean canvas and a fresh outlook.
Where we judge what was, we will repeat it.
Where we remember what didn’t work, it will continue to haunt us.
Where we withhold our love and trust from others, they will continue to disappoint us.

Where we give our negative or positive attention will be recreated by our attentive energy.
We do have a choice about what we judge and forgive, what we remember and forget.
We are the captains of our own lives and our destiny, our relationships and our health.
It is through our thoughts that we broadcast our beliefs, our words and tone, our attitude and behavior.

You may wonder why you are treated in a way you don’t appreciate.
Look at your face and your posture, your history and your memories.
Listen to your tone of voice, your words and your inner thoughts.
Everything you think, and say and do is teaching all the universe, especially those who are listening.

If you want to make a difference in your life and your world to have a new beginning.
You must change.
Don’t try to get the other to change.
Your desire to fix, correct, influence and advise the other says you disapprove.

To believe, think, speak or act like the other is wrong hurts, offends and creates separation.
When you are asked for your opinion, ie How could I do this better?, give them positive feedback.
If you don’t want to hurt their feelings, DON”T!
If you don’t want to push, demand or threaten, DON”T!

When you are paid to be of service, to teach, counsel or coach, DO!
When you are requested to do what it takes, to get the other to wake up and be responsible, DO!
When you have been asked, keep it confidential, respectful, with timelines and boundaries.
When you are willing to be a confidante, be respectful in everyway and sensitive to the needs of the other.

Most relationships have the potential for helping and healing or hurting and destroying.
Each one of us chooses how to approach our lives and those we love.
If you want to be truly helpful, first take care of your own business.
Do not try to be of help when you are stuck, because your own neediness will be projected onto the other.

If you are unsure about how to have a new beginning, make your request of  yourself and the other.
“Do you want to turn over a new leaf, start again with a different mindset, because I do!”
When you discover your own willingness and that of the other, do your own work.
Mind your own business and do what is the highest and best with no expectations.

Keep your agreements, Make no assumptions. Give your best.
You are learning how to make a new beginning every day in every way.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

Trust and Persistence in Service

Those who never quit always succeed.
What matters to you?
Are you continuing to do the work?
Do you consistently erase, forgive and undo all apparent obstacles?

Are you the willing one, the one who serves from the heart?
Are you aware that martyrdom and sacrifice are unnecessary?
Do you see we are all interconnected, the same?
Are you conscious that the One we serve is ourselves?

To be trusting is to be confident in our destination and goal.
To be persistent is to be patient and open to learning.
To be of service is to recognize that all that we give is given to and through ourselves.
To succeed is the end of a sacred journey where all awaken to the light and love within.

To distrust is to judge and blame, to feel guilt and regret, to separate ourselves.
To quit is to believe nothing and no one, including ourselves are worth the effort.
To be selfish and needy is to believe we are lacking and withhold our gifts of loving kindness.
We are here to be of service and realize we are serving ourselves and the unity of all.

How much effort does it take to do the “right” thing?
What does it cost to give what and how we are called?
Where do we lose if we always give our best happily?
Who misses out if we consistently play our part?

It really is up to me and you to make the difference.
There is no one else to turn to for wisdom and certainty.
We are here to learn to trust the voice within for assurance.
We are called to be the voice for sanity, teaching only Love.

We can feel when we are not trusting.
We are anxious and afraid and insecure.
We know when we are not persistent.
We feel like a loser, a quitter, guilty and small.
We can tell when we withhold our gifts of Love.
We feel needy, defensive and make excuses.

I forgive myself for limiting myself
I forgive myself for belittling myself.
I forgive myself for depleting, diminishing and denying the Power and Presence in me.
I am happy and willing to be the best I Am, give the best I have, and respect the Best for everyone.

It is time we take a position of Goodness and Greatness for All.
Expect the Best for everyone and from everyone.
I thank myself for trusting in the Highest Vision.
I appreciate myself for persisting in Service.

Eleven years of daily Loving Reminders emailed to thousands around the globe.
Even if they only make a difference in one life, mine and yours, they are worth it!
Loving with trust and persistence in service,

Betty Lue

What is Your True Identity?

(Classes begin again this week!)
Weekend Retreat, Jan 16-17 in our Rio Vista Home. Whole Life Balance: “Living Truth and Loving You!”

Who are you?
To what family do you belong?
What is your inheritance?
What is your heritage?

Could it be that you have been living our someone else’s destiny?
Have you taken on the programs of past generations?
Do you look, behave and live like your parents, grandparents and ancestors?
Are you convinced you are a mere mortal with limited capabilities and flawed genetics?

I, Betty Lue, am one who remembers the truth of our origin.
I see the beauty, goodness and perfection within all creation.
I was losing my focus and being indoctrinated by the beliefs of my brethren.
I saw the light fading into the fog of forgetfulness and I knew I in error.

How is it that humanity has succumbed to the fallen world?
How can it be that we deny our own true destiny?
How are we to awaken when we lull ourselves to sleep with stories of victimization?
How can we remember and become strong when it appears easy to fall into lethargy?

You and I are on the same team:  the awakening ones!
We together can lift the veil of our unconsciousness.
We can undo what is not true and realize our self-determined fate.
“Those who sleep, lose.”

The awakened ones find great joy in abundant living with peace in our minds and love in our hearts.
We can see that there is much we can do beginning again with Who We Really Are.
We are here to see the Truth and live with instant forgiveness, clearing all errors.
No one to blame, no time to waste, no lingering fears, no history to change. freedom and trust!

Yes, the myth of analyzing and judging our history must be relinquished.
There is no need for excuses, justifications or explanations, we simply must choose again.
When we show up as the unlimited beings of Love we are, we are open to trust and free to choose.
Life is an eternal gift of choice.

Choosing without consciousness of our true identity, wisdom imbued with love and confidence born of our relationship with the Infinite, Omnipotence and Omniscience, renders us weak and uncertain.
Choosing with the awareness of our True Origin, Heritage and Inheritance, honoring the Voice Within, and living the Highest ideals we know leads us to Heaven, a living example of Peace on Earth.

So, Why Not?
Discover Who and Whose You Are.
Live your Higher Purpose.
Be the One You Seek and Know it is Good!

Trusting you with all the Power in me,

Betty Lue

I welcome you to my classes, retreats, counseling and coaching.
You are welcome in my life, as you have included me in yours.
I am always loving, trusting and freeing us all, into the fullness of our calling.
We are here together full of the highest and best, sometimes buried in our pathos.
We are called to be loving, encouraging and supportive reminders to one another.
We are meant to strengthen, inspire and demonstrate our Wholeness, Goodness and Power.
Share you inspiring stories.  Be bold in demonstrating Greatness.  Appreciate the Value of Your Holy Self.
Together we are awakening our world to live consciously with conscientious attention to all our choices.
Love is trust and freedom for one and for all.

I am loving you,
Betty Lue

Supporting Changes

Yes, it is the same title as 2 days ago, because it is my talk today at Unity Center for Inspired Living.
Because we just returned from 2 weeks away and we have a board meeting and a visioning meeting this afternoon and our first class in Truth Principles and Meditation, I will keep this short and sweet.  Middle of the night listening.

Everything is changing all the time.
Weather, politics, economy, fads, relationships, emotions, environment, and our homes and bodies, etc. We need a steadfast and true North Star, in us for security and certainty of direction and focus.

To be assured that you are on course in life:
These simple principles will work.
Stay true to your Higher Self.
Stay true to your values and ethics.
Stay true to your goals.
Stay true to your connection within.

Favorite reminders:
Be flexible.
Flow around obstacles.
Trust in your inner voice (conscience, guidance, intuition)
Be open and willing to do good for yourself and others.
Forgive, erase and release all mistakes, yours, mine and ours.
Give yourself supportive words, models and  relationships.

Loving you in all I do,
Betty Lue

Can You Tell?

Can you tell when there is a need for change?
Can you feel when there is a call for healing?
Do you recognize that forgiveness is always needed?
Do you understand that enlightenment is an inside job?

Those who are hurting need help and healing.
Those who are unkind and unfair need patience and education.
Those who are angry and desperate need safety and peace.
Those who are crazy and misbehaving need love and understanding.

Do you know that all unloving acts are a call for Love?
Do you realize that all violence is a reaction to feeling lack of peace and safety?
Did you know that defensiveness comes from guilt and fear?
Do you see that justification is the result of feeling wrong and blamed?

Yes, negative and unloving human behavior is the result of lack of peace and love and joy within.
When we have no positive thoughts and no unloving feelings, there is no way to act with love.
When we are believe we are in danger, we react with defensiveness and self protection.
When we are confused, conflicted and lacking in focus, we react without consciousness.

Change in difficult situations always begins with the one who is observing and conscious.
Parent and child, married partners, teachers and students, employers and employees, it matters not our position.  What matters is the neutrality and responsibility of the individual.  “The change I want to see is always up to me.”  If one person wants to make a change, they must make the change in their own thinking and then in their own behavior.

The change begins with the one who is conscious, awake and aware of what is.
The need for change can be observed when another’s behavior becomes erratic, unusual, confusing, defensive, attacking, hateful and/or fearful.
Those who act erratic are confused.
Those who act confused lack clarity and focus.
Those who behave usually are feeling different or strange.
Those who act defensive are feeling judged.
Those who attack are feeling attacked and fearful.
Those who are hateful feel unloveable and  hated.
Those who act fearful believe they are in danger.
The basic rules of human emotion apply.

What you see demonstrates what is going on in the mind and body of the one you are observing.
We can try to teach, convince, punish, demand, pacify the other, but they will probably not be capable of receiving and responding.
It is essential that we clear ourselves first, so that we can be truly helpful and effective.
Where we are afraid, angry or upset, our emotions will block or distort our healing message.
Where we are uncertain, frightened or judgmental, we will cause confusion and fear.
Where we are peaceful and loving, we will be clear, connected and effective in our responses.

The change begins in me.
I can trust myself when I am peaceful.
I can be free in how I respond when I am connected with Source within.
I can be helpful when I know the other’s need as I know my own.
I can be the healing presence when I can find the other’s pain and respond with Love.

The change begins with me.
I must change my mind by changing my attitude.
The healing begins with me.
I must heal my fear, my unloving reactions.
The forgiveness begins with me.
I must forgive my judgments and blame.
The enlightenment begins with me.
I must bring the light of peace and understanding into my mind.

To be truly helpful requires that I be peaceful.
To be truly helpful requires that I be loving.
To be truly helpful requires that I listen within.
To be truly helpful requires that I trust my higher Self.

This is our healing and holy work in all circumstances.
We are able and must be willing.
Now is our time to make the change we want to see.
We must make the change from within and make it consistently.

Loving you and loving me as ONE,
Betty Lue

Change Transforms

When we change even one small thing, everything changes to adjust to the whole.
When you make the slightest movement in a geodesic dome, every part must readjust.
When you make an adjustment in your gait or stance, everything must realign.
When one person in a family system changes, the homeostasis shifts and all are impacted.

Change begets change in everyone.
When people feel others are changing, they may resist because they prefer the security of status quo.
When there is an energy or schedule change, all can trust and accept or fear and resist.
When we are making positive personal changes, everyone is benefitted.

Some announce their planned changes to get agreement and support.
Others hide their changes and hope others don’t interfere or resist.
Some feel fearful they may not keep to their plan, and so don’t want to share.
Some are excited and want group or family support and accountability.

To make changes in your life, be clear about what is your higher purpose.
Become aware of your intention and what motivates your changes.
Seek inspirational resources and look for ways to consciously support yourself.
Follow up with regular “checkins” and rewards to keep the momentum going.

Recognize that where you have been lazy or lethargic, you may need a boost.
Where you lack movement or fear change, you may meet with your own resistance.
Where you feel jealousy or others lagging behind, you may feel them holding you back.

First get a clear picture of what you want.
Imagine what it will take to achieve what you want.
Set a step by step plan, making each piece achievable.
Clarify the changes you want to make immediately.
Recognize that even one small change will get the momentum going.
Support your changes with affirmations, a support person or group, giving yourself rewards, or ???
Do what works for you
If you don’t meet your own goals, simply forgive any judgments, and choose to begin again.
Recognize that each change affirms your potential for change and transformation.

Life is meant to be change for the Good.
Life is an opportunity to create what you want.
Life has unlimited porential for change.
Life is transformation in expression.

It is up to each one of us to choose  and become the change we want to see.
We each are part of the global change for all humanity.
When we make beneficial change, we are affirming and encouraging beneficial change for everyone.
We are transforming our lives by changing our minds and our behavior.

Let us each take responsibility for making positive changes in our own personal lives.

Loving us all as we bless our world with change,
Betty Lue

What Right?

So what’s right with you?
Has anyone asked you what going on that’s great?

Does anyone share what is perfect?
Do we really care about the good news

Why are we so addicted to the tragic, the suffering, the terror?
Why do we gravitate toward that which moves our emotions?
Why do we crave more bad news?
Are we in competition for the worst story or the highest glory?

I spent about 10-15 years during the late 70”s ad 80’s with any news.
No TV, media, newspapers or polarizing conversations.
I was free of the desire to focus on what was wrong in my world.
I did my spiritual work and life worked for myself and those around me.

As people age, they often talk more about their physical problems.
As people watch more drama on TV, they seem to see more drama around them.
As people fear accidents, illnesses and bad stuff, they seem to experience them.
As people focus on the upsets and the drama, they seem to attract them.

Metaphysically, we know that what we focus on, we increase.
Universal law says that where we give our attention, we attract to us.
As “civilized” people, we seem to want to know all the worst news.
Where we give our attention, we increase both in our own lives and on the planet.
Problem or solution? Let’s change our focus and enjoy the good news.

You can be honest about your seeming problems and express a change of direction.
When someone asks, “How are you?”
You can answer “Great” while focused on what is GREAT.
You can say, “ I was worried and I prefer to trust.”
“I woke up with cold symptoms and I  know they will clear quickly.”
“ I may not have lots of money, and we have a roof over our heads and food to eat.”
“I feel some aches and pains, and I am glad I can work.”
“Life has its challenges, and they strengthen me.”

Find a way to reframe everything to be a positive, affirmative and encouraging truth.
There is no need to spread doom and gloom or bad news.
There is no value in making what seems like a problem, be a catastrophe.
There is great value in demonstrating how to turn difficulties into opportunities.

We are here to demonstrate “overcoming”, “creating”, “undoing” and the power of forgiveness,
We are in relationship to remind one another of our creative potential.
We are here to share what we value, admire, enjoy and embrace.
We are here to honor and exalt those who live well with joy and gratitude.

Children learn to have problems, illness and upset because they get extra attention.
Children develop habits of getting rest, getting hugs, getting help, because it works.
Adults do the same in relationships at home and work.
How about really giving lots of attention to those who are doing well?
Let’s give ourselves and others full appreciation for all the good we have and give.
Let’s honor those who share freely their happiness and vitality and creativity.
Let’s be stop hiding our light and delight with our Good News and Good lives.
I appreciate all of us for learning the fine art of living life well with joy, freedom and trust.
Loving you,

Betty Lue

I am sending you some pictures of the first two days of snow fun with the Grand Three.,
Harper and Lila 4 ½ and Beckett 3 yrs. old.  All about the same height and Beckett, strong and willful.
We are at a Hot springs in Genoa, Nevada (high desert)just over the mountain from South Lake Tahoe.
We drive up the mountain to get to the snow for tubing and sledding, snow angels and snowballs.
And then the hot springs afterwards to warm up.

Open Lines of Communication

This is an experimental Loving Reminder since I am at a hot springs in NV near South Lake Tahoe with  our grandchildren and their parents.
It is a guess to see if my 10 lists of Loving Reminders people will be sent through the server.
Know I am always listening to and for the Highest Good.
Know I am always Loving you!
Know life works best when we are tuning in to our Inner Guidance where only Love dwells.
Know all is well when we can see beyond surface appearances.
Betty Lue
Where are you open?
What are you listening to?
Who are you communicating with?
Where are you blocking communications?

Life and its connections are based on our conscious and unconscious choice.
Where we listen to the bad news, we fill our consciousness with fear, worry, upset and negativity.
Where we listen to the good news, we fill our minds with gratitude, happiness and inner peace.
To maintain vigilance against danger and difficulty, we will perpetuate that which we want to avoid.

Let’s not contract with fear.
Let’s not avoid what is difficult.
Let’s focus on being open and willing.
Let’s undo everything that is not wholly true and loving.

Let us forgive and bless.
Erase the past and bless the present.
Release our fear and embrace with Love.
Let us choose to seek the love and appreciate all Goodness.

In this we are cleaning up our perceptions and our world.
In this we are listening for the Love and forgiving the lack of Love.
In this we are communicating our forgiveness and blessing All.
In this we are being open and willing to extend Peace to our selves and all humanity.

Perhaps the best gift we can give to this world is forgiveness.
Forgiveness extends openness and willingness for all Good and only Good.
Forgiveness is the key to being happy.
Forgiveness truly offers everything we want.

You see, forgiveness is the cosmic cleanser that clears away the residue of the past to experience and express only the Goodness, Beauty and Love that was originally given us to be and do and have.
So why not?

I forgive everyone and everything for all time, including myself.

Loving you and all, no matter what.
Betty Lue

Thirteen Intentions for the Coming Year!

Can you set your own intentions in all these areas quickly and easily?
Place them on a treasure map with pictures where you can review them periodically.
Or put your list in a safe and sacred place, in a Bible, treasure box or altar.
Give yourself a time of reflection and inner focus to “intend” what matters to you.

Here are some of mine.
Physical Health
May I support my physical vehicle with the ideal thoughts, words, activities and nutrition.
May my physical presence embody the Love and Joy I Am.
Personal Happiness
My inner joy is expressed through my words, my creations, my environment and my relationships.
I create laughter, gratitude and happy contributions wherever I AM.
Spiritual Connection
I am attuned with Spirit in All I do, everything I say, what I give and All that I have.
Spirit guides my life.
Financial Abundance
Money flows to me and through my works for the Good of All.
I need nothing except to joyfully share All that I have.
Relationships in Harmony
My relationships, whether long term or chance encounters inspire, encourage and support the Highest Good in everyone.  I relate with respect, appreciation and open-mindedness.
Environmental Respect
My environments at home and work are beautiful, clean and orderly.
They inspire and offer peace and joy to all who enter.
Community Outreach
I reach out naturally with ease to those around me.  I serve with the guidance and direction of Spirit within.  I teach by example that volunteering the best you have serves All, including yourself.
Travel Focus
Traveling is fun, safe and easy for me as I manifest beauty and goodness with everything I see and those I encounter in my journeys. Love is the way we walk in gratitude.
Unity Church and Reunion Centers
The Centers and church for which I am responsible are filled with healing and happy energy to awaken and inspire everyone to remember the Love within and the gift of giving One Self.
Communication Effectiveness
My communications via vision, positive thoughts and prayers, written and spoken words and the life I lead are clear, concise and effective teaching and touching others with respect and kindness.
Worldly Ease
My world works for me and the Highest Good.  The tools and technology I use are effective and easy to maintain and utilize for the Holy and Healing work I am called to do.
Inspirational Availability
I am present with trust and freedom to all who come my way. I am open, responsive and appreciative of the gifts I share with everyone I encounter as teacher, minister, counselor, coach and friend.
Educational Expansion
Everyone is my teacher.  I am open and willing to learn all that leads me to more light and enlightenment.  I expand my awareness as I free myself of all judgment and separation.

Now it is time for you to write yours!
Blessings of encouragement, support and Love,

Betty Lue

Work or Play?

Do you know the difference?
Are you aware of balancing the two?
Do you work at playing?
Do you play at working?

Definitions for play and work are variable according to our perceptions.
Play is defined by freedom, enjoyable and natural flow.
Work is defined as directed, measured and efforting.
PLORK is my way of “Playing” at all areas considered “Work”

My idea of “abundant living” is to recognize the “joyful creativity” in all I do.
When I clean the house, I enjoy the cleanliness, the flow, the outcome.
When I perform my functions as therapist, teacher, minister, I play at being the best I know how to be.
When I work at creating a new center or the Reunion Lake House Retreat, I play at designing and decorating.

“Plork” is a natural balance in a work of illusion, where we make up the goals and the methods.
Children practice becoming adults by “playing house, playing  doctor, Playing beauty shop”, etc.
When children grow up, they often become “adulterated” by the learned drive to be better than others.
When adults allow themselves to play at work, stress is minimized and performance increases.

When we push or demand others to work, we are usually coming from a picture of hardship and effort.
When we invite others to join us in working and playing activities, we offer a view of enjoyable teamwork.
When we see ourselves needing to work on some problem, we usually imagine difficulty and demand.
When we envision ourselves choosing to create optimum solutions, we can imagine trust, freedom and joy.

My body feels best when it is neither stressed nor distress, but can function easily and freely.
My mind functions best when it is open, creative and free to imagine.
I am most happy and inspired when I am choosing the game, the timing and the methods of play/work.
Life is most effective, healthy and successful, when I am free to follow my inner guidance in all ways.

When I encourage you to take impeccable care of yourself, I am inviting you to join in a life of choice.
I am suggesting that you unlearn your habits of hardship and struggle, demand and punishment.
I encourage us all to seek a life that flows with joy and gratitude and feels fun, safe and easy.
I know our creator intended that we be whole and happy and free here in this earthly paradise.

Yes, we forgot.
Yes, we tried to divide and conquer.
Yes, we were caught in thoughts of need and greed.
Yes, we promoted comparison, evaluation, reward and punishment.

As a child, I learned how to win and how to lose at will….using my consciousness.
As a child, I learned to have fun and enjoy everything I did.
As a child, I learned win/win experiences felt the best to me.
As a child, I learned that “playing” always yielded a happy outcome.

I invite you to stop doing your life as though you “have to win”, “do it right “ and “be the best”.
I encourage you to begin participating in games where everyone feels blessed and valued.
I suggest that you love everything you do, simply because it brings more joy and success.
I honor the Creator within for creating this amazing game of Beauty, Goodness and Love.

Bless us all everyone for beginning 2010 being happy with ourselves and our whole life play.
Loving you,

Betty Lue

New Year’s Day 2010

(Eleven year anniversary for these daily Loving Reminders now received by thousands around the planet!)

Full Blue Moon Lunar Eclipse last night.
Moon is void of course all day today.
Mercury in retrograde until January 15, 2010.
End of a decade and the beginning of a new one.
Empress year of creativity, beauty, nurturing the Self.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life!
No matter how you see today, the beginning of a new year.
It can be a loving reminder to set your intentions consciously.
Each day, each phone call, each encounter can be meaningful when you set you intention.

Would you be willing to set 12 goals or intentions for this year?
Remind yourself of your intentions by simply reviewing them weekly or monthly.
Create a treasure map or visual picture of what you intend and post it where you can see it daily.
Give yourself small steps to take to build success in living what you intend.

Use your life as a canvas.
Imagine the beauty and goodness, fun and enjoyment you may want to experience.
Visualize your relationships, your self image and reputation, your communication and interactions.
Use descriptive adjectives that help you feel the experiences your intend for yourself.

Know that your love of Self will keep you focused and guided from within.
Where there is disappointment or self criticism, clear the blocks with focused forgiveness and affirmation.
Honor your entire life, mistakes and challenges, achievements and creations, with joyful gratitude.
See everything as integral to the beauty of the whole tapestry of your life.

Life is easier when you love your authentic self.
Life is more fun when you appreciate your  true self.
Life is totally safe when you trust your Higher Self.
When you know you will always value, support and Love you, no matter what, you will be at peace.

Perhaps the key you have been seeking has been not how to get from others what you seek.
Perhaps the missing piece has not been the partner, the house, the job, but simply Self Love.
Perhaps the spiritual connection you have sought has never been outside, but an inside connection.
If your thoughts, words and behavior has been inconsistent or lacking Love, you would feel lost.

May this year be a time of healing the wounds your have allowed to fester.
May this year be a place where you stop hurting yourself with unkindness.
May this year be a gift of self nurturing daily.
May this year be a daily happy surprise of self discovery and self valuing.

You see, what the all loving God intended was for us to Love the gift we were given.
When you hate or are ashamed or abusive of the Gift, you cannot know God or the Unconditional Love.
Forgive  the errors of past generations.
Begin to see and feel the blessing of your Self,  and you will come to know God and All Goodness Within.

You are awesome and wonderfully made.
You are created in the likeness and image of the Infinite, all-loving and all-powerful Creator.
Yes, You have all power within you.
When you have truly forgiven all self hatred, anger and judgment, you will know God.

I am loving you with every breath, every word and every deed I do.
