Help Others Help Themselves!

Affirmations;
I am happy to be truly helpful.
What is best for me is best for others.
I choose always to share the best I  have in thoughts, words and deeds.
I give and receive all good and only good.

Help Everyone Help Themselves!

When we are healed, we are not healed alone.
When we help another, we are helping ourselves.
What we do for ourselves, we do for others.
What we do for others, we are doing for ourselves.

This universe shows us how to heal.
We are here to heal all of us.
When we live with healing in mind, we experience inner peace.
When we share our peace of mind, we demonstrate healing.

Life experience shows us what is helpful.
We observe the results of the help we offer.
We notice what works and what doesn’t work.
We choose to do what is truly helpful and all benefit.

Help is not helpful if it creates fear or resistance.
Help is not helpful if it disables or weakens the other.
Help is not helpful if we sacrifice and weaken ourselves.
Help is helpful it is empowers and creates no judgmental awareness.

A rule of thumb to use:
1.    Wait until you are asked or invited to help.
2.    Create a confidential and private space or help anonymously.
3.    Be clear about the time involved. (Set limits).
4.    Ask specifically what is needed.
5.    Listen within and listen first to the other to see what is best.
6.    Give only what is asked for and open to be received.
7.    Share what feels positive, encouraging and reassuring.
8.    Ask if there is anything else that is wanted or needed.
9.    Listen to and receive your own counsel and guidance.
10.  Do not share, remind or ask about what you have given.
11.  Be grateful for the opportunity to be of help.
12.  Do not give if there is no appreciation or it makes things worse.
13.  There must be conscious appreciation to be of value.

Remember what is helpful to you may or may not be helpful to another.
What you give is always a gift to yourself.
To be helpful must demonstrate your faith and confidence and trust in the other.
Treat and talk with others as you want to be treated and talked with.

True helpfulness is equal, honest and responsible.
True helpfulness is respectful and kind.
True helpfulness is direct, specific and without expectation.
Seek only to be truly helpful for the highest and best outcome.

Be truly helpful by giving what you would want to receive
.
Reminding you with Love,
Betty Lue

Who Is There?

Affirmations:
All I give is a gift to myself.
I show compassion, kindness and helpfulness to others.
I see the Good in everyone.
I touch everyone’s life with my thoughts, words and deeds.

Who Is There for You?

Who is there for you when you have doubt?
Who is there for you when you are afraid?
Who is there for you when you want help?
Who is there for you?

Have you always been on your own?
Have you never felt secure and safe?
Have you tried to find a pillar of strength?
Do you seek someone to rely on?

When raised in a safe family or community, we trust.
When we grow up always having someone to rely on,
When we know our parents or grandparents will be there,
We can relax and rest in their love, protection and guidance.

What does the child do who has no one, consistent, clear and certain?
What does the adult do who has no secure place or person to trust?
What does the elder do who is alone and without friends or family?
How do we create inner peace, safety and guidance alone?

We have crisis lines, shelters, volunteer centers, hospice and more.
We have foster homes, safe houses, and under bridges and on the streets.
We have boarding houses, hospitals, nursing homes and houses.
But is anyone home to really be there for those who are alone and afraid?

What can I do?
What can you do?
What can we do?
We want to give ourselves and others a safe place to rely on.

Some depend on one another, social services and communities to take care of us.
Some depend on their church family, family of origin, partners and friends.
Some depend on the TV, their pets, what they read and how they pray.
There are many who depend on anyone to love them and keep them safe everyday.

I can encourage my heart to be open to smile, listen and be there.
I can encourage our systems to be more courteous, humane and understanding.
I can encourage the media to share storied of kindness and generosity and trust.
I can encourage our churches to give to everyone, not just those who believe as they do.

We are in a time of great choices that will effect the coming generations and civilization.
We can give voice to what we believe is right and true and best for everyone, not just some.
We can contribute to the tired, the bereft, the homeless, the lost and confused.
We can give to others what we would want, if we were scared and alone.

Loving us as we contribute to the Greater Good!

Life Works!

Affirmations:
I easily say YES to what is loving and true for me and you.
Life works when I remember to say YES.
Love flows when I am willing to always say YES.
It is fun, safe and easy to say YES to life.

Life Works!

Life works when we stay in love.
Life works when we are grateful.
Life works when we stop fighting.
Life works when we remember Good.

Life can seem to work against us when we forget.
Life can be bumpy when we sometimes neglect.
Life shows us when we make a wrong turn.
Life causes us to see we have much to learn.

Life is a reflection of where we are right now.
Life is a projection of who we think we are.
Life tempts us to believe it all happens to us.
Life shows what we truly believe will happen through us.

There is much to learn here.
There is much to unlearn here.
There is much to forgive here.
There is much to create here.

Our personal life is an example of our unconscious thoughts.
We can clean them up or let them be.
We can take full responsibility or find someone else to do the work.
We can really choose to change our mind and transform our lives.

There are no accidents.
Everything is a lesson in Love.
We may need to learn what love is.
We may need to learn to give love.

Love is energy.
Life works when love flows.
Life doesn’t work when energy is blocked.
To withhold love from one self or others blocks energy.

It is that simple.
Flow your energy.
Forgive all blocks.
Love yourself and others anyway.

Love is saying YES!
Life works when we say YES!
We are here to learn to say YES!
We are here to learn to stop saying NO to Life!

Say YES for what is loving and true for YOU!
Say Yes to others saying YES for what is loving and true for them.

Stop saying NO to yourself and learn to say YES!!
Betty Lue

“Life is for learning.
Education leads out of ignorance.
The more we learn, the more we know.
The more we know, the better our resources.
The more resources, the more choice we have.”
The more choices, the more enjoyable life can be.”

Mature Adult Behavior

Affirmations:
I think, speak and act with respect and consideration for everyone.
I treat others as I want to be treated.
I live my life with respect, responsibility and cooperation with others.
I forgive all immature, emotionally reactive behavior.

Are You a Conscious Adult?

Are you behaving like a mature person?
Are you able to control your emotions?
Do you respond with respect and kindness?
Are you listening to what others are really saying?

If you are the conscious adult, you will behave like a mature adult.
If you are aware of where others are coming from, you will be responsive to their needs.
If you realize that reading this email is a sign of maturity, you will away from childish behavior.
If you recognize you are the source of Love in your relationship, you will remember to give Love.

Mature adults do not behave like children or critical parents.
Mature adults speak and act in ways that create adult responses.
Mature adults are respectful and considerate, compassionate and kind.
Mature adults seek creative solutions and offer responsible responses.

If you are a conscious adult, you will not think, talk or behave in childish ways.
If you are a mature adult, you will respond with love to those lacking in love.
If you are a conscious adult, you will give your best to everyone, beginning with yourself.
If you are a mature adult, you will remember to clear the fear and judgments with forgiveness.

If you are awake and aware, you will step away from useless arguments and fighting.
If you are respectful and responsible, you will see solutions in which no one loses.
If you are caring and compassionate, you will take time to listen and learn what is truly helpful.
If you are giving what you want to have, you will see the needs and fill them in yourself and others.

Crying, complaining, and criticizing are camouflage for what is your responsibility.
When you see a need in yourself and others, it is yours to fill.
When you feel a lack in yourself and others, it is yours to clear the limiting emotional patters.
When you hear a call for love, it is yours to find the Love in you to awaken the Love in others.

We are here to erase what calls us to be as a child, needy and dependent.
When we are waiting for someone else to do it for us, we have forgotten who we Are.
When we are blaming someone else for what is missing, we have neglected to take responsibility.
When we are allowing us to be hurt, scared and alone, we must remember what is our choosing.

We are responsible and capable.
We are good enough.
We are smart enough.
And besides people like us!!

It is time for us to grow up and take responsibility for the entirety of our lives.
No more whining, blaming and feeling sorry for ourselves.
Cleaning up the past is easy if we begin now without blaming anyone.
Start new each day with Being Clear, Certain, Consistent and Sincere.

Love being capable and responsible.
It works!
