Find Your North Star!

Affirmations:
Every upset shows me I am off purpose, and I choose again to follow my north star.
I am happy and on purpose in my life.
I am always in the right place at the right time doing the right thing for the right reasons.
Everything always works more exquisitely than I can plan.

When you get out your compass, you can find your direction.
When you locate your own guiding light, you can follow what is right for you.
When you remember your highest purpose in the storms of life, you will be confident.
Learning to navigate the changing waters and landscapes, requires you know your own North Star.

What I refer to is a navigation tool, a constant in one’s life where you always know where you are.
When you are aware of your highest purpose and intention, you will never get lost.
When we get lost, we can remind ourselves by checking our own inner compass.
When we find we are unhappy, lacking peace or in doubt, we can return to what is certain and true.

Nothing of the world lasts, for everything is changing.
On the inner landscape of our essence, we know what it is we seek to be and have and give.
I just want to be happy.
I want to know peace.
I want to live in Love as Love.

Somewhere inside you, you know what is true for you.
There is a place where you find your soul, your Self.
There is a peace that reminds you of the piece of Good in You.
There is a way you live and love and give that brings you true content.

When you look at your journey, look for what brings you home to safety and to rest.
When you listen for what is in your heart, see what makes you smile and feel delighted.
When you feel the Goodness and Love that lives in you, you will find your North Star.
Honor your life, but living without strife and simply seek to be in harmony with YOU.

You are Love, seeking only to be loving.
You are Joy, wanting only to share your Joy.
You are Peace, living only to flow with what is.
You are the One who brings all the rest home with you.

We are the shepherd bring the lost flock home.
Those who follow the North star know where and why we are.
It is our work to guide the folks who do not know home to themselves.
Let this be our whole and healing work.

Know what you know.
Go where you go.
Never forget.
Live with no regret.

Follow the Way you know and other will follow you home.
My North Star is to always be loving You.

Get Clear and Choose

Affirmations:
I trust myself to choose what is highest and best for all.
I am clear in choosing love, always Love.
I live in safety and peace when I trust my inner guidance.
I know without doubt what is the “right” thing to do.

When we are conflicted, we cannot make a confident choice.
When we are confused, we cannot see clearly.
When we are complaining, we cannot know what to choose.
When we are cloudy, we do now think with clarity, confidence and commitment.

Clarity comes with inner peace.
Clarity comes with knowing oneself.
Clarity comes with knowing one’s priorities.
Clarity comes with confidence and inner guidance.

When we have no goals, we cannot be clear.
The world and all its meanderings toss us hither and yon.
People and all their drama create complexity in thoughts and feelings.
When we seek only to avoid pain, our choices shift with changing times.

When we allow others’ beliefs, values and dreams to tempt us, we change our minds.
When we are afraid to be wrong and look foolish, we may set aside what is ours to choose.
When we are worried about the cost and the loss, we may prefer to not choose and wait for someone else.
When we do not know what we do not know and stay ignorant, we know we cannot make wise choices.

So what to do to get clarity and choose?
Stop and Listen to what you hear and feel and know within.
Write down what you hear and feel and know.
Make a list of what you believe to be true for you.

In writing we can begin to see what stays and what goes.
Prioritize what seems to be the most important or real for you.
Seek the highest and best choice for all concerned, including you.
Create a step by step plan for realizing clear and confident choices.

Choices are best made by inner guidance from a place that sees what is for the highest and best.
Choices made with Love and Spirit are always made so no one loses.
Choices made with freedom and trust are easily changed when no longer of value.
Choices make are flexible and transformative because they come with Love at their core.

When we are true to what we value in our own life journey, we abide in inner peace.
When we live what we seek others would live around us, we are happy to be an example.
When we own that we want what is best for others and ourselves, we feel good about our choices.
When we appreciate the Good we have in our minds and hearts, we are confident and committed.

Let us remember that we are leading the way.
Let us remember to forgive the world we see.
Let us remember to treat everyone with dignity.
Let us remember to choose for right reasons.

We can feel safe and good and at peace everyday when we choose the loving way.
Loving you,
Betty Lue

Is it time to return to what your goals and priorities are for 2014?
Sometimes we forget, neglect or get lost in what the urgencies and emergencies seem to be.
Sometimes we are distracted, delayed and detoured by others needs and demands.
This is a good time to clarify what you are here to be and do and have and give.

Listen within and write down you goals and priorities.
Remind yourself everyday and live on purpose with peace.

You Are Doing Your Best!

Affirmations:
I do my best everyday in every way.
I need not compare with others: I value myself.
I am a gift with my Presence alone.
I am true to myself in what I think and say and do.

Everyone is doing the best they know!
They would be doing better if they knew better.
Life is a potpourri with lots to learn and lots to choose.
When we get stuck, we do the same thing over and over.

If we knew better we would do better.
When we are stuck in judgment of what is right and wrong, we cannot learn a new song.
When we are attached to what we have learned to be true, we may not hear what is right for you.
When we are defending our righteous choice, we may not notice others’ opposing voice.

Life offers judgments and comparisons.
Life gives us ways of measuring and evaluating.
Life shows us how always to improve and use what we have.
Life constantly asks us to make changes, learn more, do it better.

When I am uncertain about myself and my ethics, I may be questioned.
When I am confused about what is selfish or of service, I may be doubted.
When I am overwhelmed with the pressures of constant scrutiny, I may be stressed.
When I am certain and confident in the choices I make, I will be confident and at peace.

Testing is one way of self inventory to help us recognize where we are.
Being awake and aware is a way of inviting us to flow with this moment now.
Being bumped by the world and its doubts and distrust is a way of discerning what is our best.
Taking the high road is a way of learning and letting go of what is not helpful and beneficial.

I would remind myself and you, my friend, that each one of us is doing our best.
Considering the circumstances, our state of mind, what we desire, we are each doing the best we know.
When we trust in the basic desire of all humans to survive and feel safe, each uses the tools available.
When we recognize the need to belong and be loved, to achieve and leave a legacy, we do our best.

Everyone has similar basic instinctual desires with totally different experiences and backgrounds.
Each one has unique coping mechanisms and strategies, values and habits, beliefs and paths.
We all use what we have to do what we believe we need to do to get our needs met.
We must trust ourselves and others to freely choose what seems to work for us.

When we trust and free ourselves, we will trust and free others.
When we doubt and restrict ourselves, we tend to doubt and limit others.
When we believe in our right to find happiness our own way, we support others to do the same.
When we make up we know what is best for all, we tend to make others do what we want them to do.

These loving reminders are a gift to myself and hopefully a gift to you, from time to time.
My way may not be your way, and I trust you to choose without making anyone wrong.
When we are going the same direction in life, we can hold hands and share.
When we are going different ways, we can release and bless one another’s journey.

May this and all I share be helpful to you in clarifying what is true for you.
Blessings are found as I trust and free you and me to find our own way to follow.

Love always Love,

Complaining Is Draining!

Affirmations:
I quickly forgive negativity and choose again for love.
I release what is not mine and choose for inner peace.
I trust myself to seek and find a better way to live.
I clear my fear and see the Goodness here and everywhere.

Whether “kvetching” in our thoughts, with words or behavior, it all creates energy drain.
Fatigue comes from negativity and fear.
Reacting to our thoughts and perceptions with negativity causes us to feel depleted.
Learning to stop the drain with no complaints is essential to feel alive, alert and enthusiastic.

Justifying our complaints adds to our confusion in the defensiveness of our thinking.
When we excuse ourselves by defending the negative ways we think, we develop the habit.
Some live in the groove of always having something to complain about and someone to blame.
When we want to be right about our opinion, we can easily get stuck and have no alternatives.

Even when we complain about others’ complaints, we add to the negativity that drains us all.
The habit of complaining is exaggerated because it attracts either more complaints or resistance.
When we buy into conversations agreeing to complain or read the newsworthy complaining.
Complaining sets up the stream of negativity that blocks the flow of creative ideas.

Complaining is blaming.
Complaining reinforces that we are helpless victims.
Complaining closes the mind to choosing a better way.
Complaining focuses on what is wrong rather than what is Good.

There are purple “Complaint Free World” bracelets and website which I wear.
We chose to create a blue “What Can I Dobracelet which I wear.
I find when I stop blaming, I can find a better way.
I can choose to Ask and Find “ What I Can Do!”

Consider no longer being a victim of the world.
Consider no longer allowing anyone to harm you.
Consider no longer letting your mind deceive you.
Consider no longer allowing negativity to have its way!

In a mind without blame, we can claim our freedom.
In a mind without complaint, we can claim our responsibility.
In a mind without negativity, we can clam true happiness.
In a mind without limited thinking, we can claim our creativity and limitlessness.

Make a comprehensive list of everything you complain about.
Write it all down until there is no more you can find in the dark recesses of your mind.
Clear the fear, judgment, attachment and defensiveness by erasing the past.
To truly forgive is to erase it all with Love.

Everyday in everyway. I erase and fill my thoughts, words and actions with Love.
Everyday in everyway, I see and find a better way to live and love, to learn and laugh.
Life is the opportunity to change my mind endlessly.
I can learn to choose to see everything creatively.

And so it is that we are Free!
Loving you with responsibility with Gratitude,
Betty Lue

You Are A Flower in the Garden of Life

If you would grow to be your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing & punishing

For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is tough as war
Yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies
But we open fully only to warmth & light
And our need to grow is fragile as a fragrance
Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still

So accept, respect,
Attend your sensitivity

A flower
Cannot be opened
With a hammer
