Be kind and respectful to yourself and others.
We are all here to learn to love one another.
THOSE WHO KNOW LIVE WHAT THEY KNOW.
THOSE WHO DON’T, JUDGE.
Affirmations:
I teach by example.
I learn who, where, when and what I am to teach.
First, I learn and live what I am learning.
I trust others are always doing the best they know.
Who Really Knows?
What if they don’t know how to make their bed?
What if they don’t know to say ‘please’ and 'thank you'?
What if they don’t know how to make a friend?
What if they don’t know how to enjoy learning?
So often, we judge others.
More often, we expect others to know!
So often, we criticize and complain.
More often, we believe others know what we know.
What if they do what they have experienced.
What if they only do what they are taught.
What if no one taught them.
What if we never learned how to share what we know..
Is it possible we live in a world of limited teaching and learning?
Is it possible people never learned to be helpful and kind?
Perhaps people think negative language and addictive behaviors are normal.
Maybe we have much to teach and learn about how life will work better for all.
Have we considered that we don’t know?
Maybe we judge because we truly don’t know about what anyone needs.
Maybe we have made up that everyone is like us.
Maybe we are ignorant about all the people we judge.
This may be the time to ask and listen, observe and consider.
We can always open our mind and trust with our heart.
Is it possible we have assumed we know what they should know?
What we don’t know can hurt us by assuming everyone must know better.
Do not assume anyone knows.
Do not take for granted what you know.
Do not believe they are just lazy.
Do not criticize what you truly don’t know.
My first question is always to ask myself, “What am I learning and teaching?”
Do I live a life of helpfulness and kindness and respect?
Am I doing what needs to be done with gratitude and enjoyment?
Do I look forward to managing my home, my work, my whole life with full appreciation?
I begin with living my own life the best I know.
I allow loving kindness to teach others who ask.
I surrender to love, trust and respect for all.
Loving you,
Betty Lue
Coming to Know
To “know” is to “love”.
When we fully know, we have an experience of acceptance, understanding, trust and love.
In working with levels of consciousness, we can easily substitute “love” for “know”.
Perhaps, for some, this will simplify and clarify where you are in your own unfolding process.
- I don’t know and don’t know I don’t know.
- I don’t know and don’t care.
- I don’t know and don’t want to know.
- I don’t know and wish I did.
- I don’t know and seek to know.
- I am coming to know.
- I know and am afraid of what I know.
- I know and am afraid I don’t.
- I know and hold back what I know.
- I know and share what I know in order to know.
- I know and know I know quietly.
- I am what I know.
