Self Discipline

Affirmations:
I learn from everyone and everything I experience.
I learn from listening to, observing and trusting myself.
I learn from practicing with self motivation and self discipline.
I commit to learning from mistakes as well as successes.

Are You a Student of Life?

What do you want to learn?
How do you want to feel?
Who do you want to be?
What do you want to do?
Where do you want to go?
What do you want to give?
How do you want to live?

Are you a student of life?
Are you paying attention to what you have?
Students are always learning.
To learn you must be awake.

Be curious.
Ask questions.
Explore possibilities.
Experiment with realities.

Make learning your life’s goal.
Choose what is it you want to know.
Experiment with how to live and learn.
Begin to practice every day.

Many folks never decide on what they want to be or do.
Many let life drift away.
Many allow others to choose for them.
Many simply switch from one teaching to another.

When we are devoted to learning a trade, skill or path, we practice daily.
When we are devoted to a philosophy or way of life, we commit ourselves to living with integrity.
When we are devoted to a teacher or teaching, every moment is an opportunity to practice.
When we are devoted to excellence and mastery, we begin again daily to learn once again.

Life teaches us how to master our minds, our work and our lives.
Life shows us who is teaching us by their own life practice.
Life gives us opportunities to learn and experience more and more.
Life offers us the rewards of mastery and the rewards of mistakes.

Never quit on what you know is your path and purpose in life.
Never stop enjoying the blessings of learning.
Never give up on becoming your highest potential.
Follow your joy and live your purpose.

Life is inspiring when we do the WORK.
Life rewards us when we do the WORK
Life is fun, safe and easy, when we do the WORK.
Life is Good when we do the WORK.

Loving the Work in life,
Betty Lue

Two Essential Questions:
  1. What am I learning?
  2. How can I be helpful?
