Affirmations:
I choose truth for the Highest Good.
I seek to live the best I know.
I think, speak, and act with Goodness and Love.
I live in integrity in private and in public.
How long does Truth last?
How long was the world flat?
How long did we believe there was an end to the universe?
How many times have we heard the world is ending?
Just because it is written doesn’t mean it is true.
Just because a scientist said it, doesn’t mean they all agree.
Just because we know something, doesn’t mean everyone knows it.
Just because we believe it, doesn’t mean it won’t change.
Some say the world we see is illusion.
Some say the world is real.
Some say that emotions are honest.
Some say they are thoughts we feel.
Some think we can trust what is fact.
Some realize facts change.
Some believe what we see is accurate.
Some notice what we see can rearrange.
Is Truth trustworthy or is the current truth temporary?
In an every expanding universe, are we just beginning to explore.
Can we really trust our research and thinking?
Perhaps consciousness is beginning to realize there is more.
Can we trust in our intentions?
Can live up to what we believe is right?
Can we stop complaining about others?
Can we live with open-mindedness without the need to fight?
Let’s be patient in finding what is true.
Let’s stop judging different perceptions.
Let’s allow us all to learn,
We can trust in the multitude of directions.
What is right for now may not be right again.
What is true for today may not be true tomorrow.
What is real and fact and sure may not last for generations.
What we trust is what we hold to be our values and our Truth.
“We hold these truths to be self evident,
That all men are created equal.
That they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights.
That among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
What Truths to you hold to be self evident?
Loving myself in living the truths I know,
Betty Lue
