Another translation: “Don't become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think.
Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants-what is good, pleasing, and perfect.”
I have a mind, but I am not my mind.
I have thoughts, but I can change my thoughts.
When I change my thoughts, I change my experience.
When I think good thoughts, I have good experiences.
I can practice using my mind for Good.
I can choose to think Good thoughts.
I can forgive my using my mind for ill.
I can delete all thoughts that are not for the Good of all.
I prefer to be happy.
I prefer to be in love.
I prefer to be at peace.
Therefore, I change my mind quickly and easily when I experience unhappiness, fear or conflict.
Some tools I use to change my mind, easily and quickly. They all will work!
Affirmations: “ I am at Peace.” “I choose happiness.” “ I love everyone, including myself.”
Forgiveness: “I forgive my judgments and limited thinking. I am open and willing see only Love.”
Preferences: “I prefer to be whole and happy and free. I am as God created Me.”
Pattern Interrupt: Distract my attention, by getting focused on something else.
Change: Doing something new and novel. Adventure or Using a different hand or changing my clothes.
Cleanse: Shower and imagine everything going down the drain.
Breathe: Clear the stuck thoughts simply by breathing them away.
Prayer: Invite in Divine Help. Ask and You shall receive.
Bible or ACIM: Use inspirational words and music to re-mind me of what is True and Good.
Feng Shui: 1) Clear the clutter. 2) More Light. 3) Surround Self with what you Love.
Erase: When I make a mistake in what I think or say, I say “Delete” and erase it from my mind.
Light: Shine light on Pineal gland through mid forehead. Sunshine outside or imagine inner light.
Education: Means to lead out of darkness. Learn more.
Listen Within: Take quiet time to listen to spiritual guidance from within.
Spring Cleaning: Clean our and let go of all the stuff not being used regularly. ( Clothes, books, etc.)
Gratitude: Handwrite thank you notes and letters to people
Service: Help others in every way you are called.
Contribution: Give financial support regularly to places where you are inspired and fed spiritually.
Surrender: Give all problems, worries, fears, guilt and resentment to Higher Power.
Remove Yourself: When all else fails or you cannot remember, step away for a nap or walk in nature.
Give your Whole Self, your mind, body, resources, talents and time to only Good.
When you live with Goodness in your life, you think Good, you do Good, you speak Good.
You have Good because you are Good.
Do the Work and it will work for you.
Loving you and reminding you of the Goodness in you and your Life.
