Going Home

Returning to Joy is our homecoming.
Returning to Peace is the path.
Returning to Love is our guidance system.
Returning Home is the gift we give ourselves when we have forgiven.

Our Home-Coming is our choice.
We can choose when and how and what it is for us.
Just as every holiday can be a healing day, we can choose to use every encounter for healing.
We are here in this dilemma to erase with love everything that is not loving in our minds.

What we forgive and release is gone.
What we cling to and resist we keep attracting to ourselves.
Carrying the baggage of the past slows our journey and causes fatigue.
Erasing, undoing, releasing and flushing yesterday’s new is healthy and lightens our journey home.

Trying to figure out and fix gets us stuck in the paralysis of analysis.
Weighing ourselves down with the stuff we have carried for years and lifetimes, makes us weary.
Waiting for someone else to change, to “get it”, to make amends or do the “right thing” only delays our happiness and inner peace.
Wishing we could just relax and release to be at peace won’t work until we “Let Go and let in the Good”.

The only One who can choose again is the One We Are.
The only One who can lead the way is the One We Are.
The only One who can step out of the past and into the Present is ourselves.
The only One who can stop the insanity with you and me.

So why don’t we?
Why not forgive it all
Why not let go and let God?
Why not get on with our own journey?

Our EGO (Edging God Out), learned personality and separate embodied physical self, clings to the past.
Our EGO has investment this lifetime (and perhaps many many others), in being “right” and suffering.
Our EGO is attached to its beliefs, its investment of time and energy, its way of doing things.
Our EGO would rather die than let go, forgive with love, set others free with our blessing and be happy.

Our Holy Self, our Godly Self, our forgiven and forgiving Self is free of attachment.
Our healed Self is invested in wholeness and healing.
Our True and Authentic Self forgives and can simply choose again for the path of happiness and Peace.
Our Real Self leads with the mind that chooses the High Way of Freedom and Trust.

When we are fully invested in conforming to the masses or those around us, we are narrow-minded.
When we allow ourselves to see things differently, we can see the freedom of forgiveness and letting Go.
When we are happy and willing to learn a better way to live and love, give and receive, we trust Spirit.
When we choose our own Home-Coming, we forgive ourselves for all unconscious guilt and rejoice.

Loving you,
Betty Lue
