Life Is Our Teacher

Are you a good student?
Do you do your homework?
Do you remember what you have learned?
Do you teach what you are learning?

Are you distracted by your fellow students?
Do you blame your teachers for your mistakes?
Are you willing to practice over and over until you get it?
Do you take notes to remember when you have forgotten?

Are you willing to be responsible for your learning success?
Do you learn from your mistakes without judging yourself?
Are you open-minded and willing to learn easily and quickly?
Are you present and aware of the learning opportunities that come?

Successful and happy life students are motivated to learn because they know their learning purpose.
They appreciate their teachers and value the learning process,
They are eager to learn and practice what they learn consistently.
They simply do their best without judging others or themselves.

We can choose to be open, happy and willing students.
When we value the lessons that come our way, we openly acknowledge what we need to learn.
Mistakes are gifts which highlight where we may need to see or respond differently.
Upsets are wakeup calls, to stop, pay attention and tell ourselves the truth as we see it.

We use life’s circumstances and encounters as gifts, blessings, information with curiosity and gratitude.
We take nothing and no one for granted, but enjoy the uniqueness of each person and experience.
We appreciate the miracles of love and are willing to respond with kindness where love seems absent.
We allow the world and the family of humanity to teach us where we are needed and valued.

The life long student sees the process of learning and teaching as an adventure.
The ever-changing canvas of personalities and process is intriguing and challenging.
The experiences we encounter strengthen our purpose, inspire our faith and encourage our willingness.
Life is good when we are willing to learn, to help and to grow to our potential.

Be the One.
Give your best.
Trust the process.
Let go of the rest.
