Affirmations:
I remember what is Good and Beautiful and Holy!
I live my best everyday as a tribute to my Mom.
I give all I have to make my world a better place.
I know I am here to live the Highest Truth I know.
Let Us Remember……
Remembering my Mom…..This is her birthday.
She loved
and cared for everyone, but especially children.
She wanted
the world to be a safe and loving, kind and respectful place for all.
Her home
was always open for folks to come and stay, have a meal and share.
As I remember her today, I realize much of my life has been
patterned after what she showed me.
It was not
her words, because she mostly listened and just did kind and helpful deeds.
It was her
consistent presence, living what she believed and valued.
Mom was a
strong capable partner and friend to my Dad and to her children.
I honored her as a child and as an adult and now as I am a
mother and Grandmother.
I remember
and live the best I know, appreciating what I saw and felt and heard.
She was
accepting and trusting, generous and happy, healing and helpful to all.
She
exemplified the golden rule and treated others with the very best she knew.
Now as I remember what I value, I am living out what I have
learned and appreciated.
Perhaps on
this July 4th weekend, it is a good time for each one of us to value what we
have.
Let us each
remember the value of living in this country where we all have opportunity.
The freedom
and trust from our parents, our government is exceptional and encouraging.
Do you remember the value of going to school?
Do you remember
what you learned from your elders?
Do you
take the time to return to a place of gratitude?
Do you
consider your good fortune and blessings?
When we are willing to remember our ideals, we are more
likely to live them.
When we
understand achievement require diligence and work, we succeed.
When we
look deeper with respect at those who paved the way, we give thanks.
When we
realize the higher ground and our purpose here, we realign with what is Good
and right.
It seems that besides the fireworks and celebration, we need
to contribute our best.
We each can
share the positive stories and inspiring memories.
We can each
help one another as brother and sister, family members on planet earth.
We can
notice what is needed and step up to give to what gives to others.
A little change makes such a big difference.
Stop
swearing and hating, prejudging and threatening.
Stop the
unconsciousness of drunkenness and addictions.
Stop
hurting yourself or others with ignorance and hurtfulness.
We are better than that.
We are a
nation of go-getters and givers, dreamers and builders.
We are
people who believe in freedom and justice for all.
We are here
to remember “In God We Trust” and live trusting in the Good.
I believe in us.
All Together
Now.
Together we
can change our world.
Let’s do it
together.
Loving you,
Betty Lue
