Happy Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s is usually designated as the day we give Loving attention to those who are SPECIAL to us.
For some it could be seen as the day to celebrate the Love in us.
Or perhaps ..this is the time to acknowledge the Love we feel for those around us.
Whether you see it as focused on you, your partner, family, friends or the Love of God, it is Good.

I notice that where many are hurt by love and loving is when they make Love special.
When we give love only to the special ones, we believe we need to be special to them.
When they respond with rejection, neglect, lack of caring, we take it personally.
For many years I thought Love was to be given and received by those especially close.

I have learned that Love is our Natural State.
Loving is a way of expressing and extending the Love We Are.
Giving Love through words, songs, prayers, gift, quality time and service are among the ways to give.
When we give Love to get Love, we may find ourselves feeling lacking, lonely or left out.

When I remember that Love is Who and what I AM, I trust in the constant state of Loving.
When I realize that Love is who You are and receive the gift of your love, I am never lacking.
When I recognize that the appearance of lack of Love, is simply the call for remembering Love, I forgive.
When I acknowledge that the world needs Love, I share the Love I Am freely with all I encounter.

Love shared may be a smile, a poem, a song.
Love may be expressed with a kind word, a thank you or compliment.
Love is acted with holding a door open, a nod, a special acknowledgment.
Love is given with every healing thought, blessing or vision of wholeness.

Yes, today, whether alone or with many you can love is a day to Love YOU for Being Love!
Today is the reminder to give love no matter what.
Today is a gift to yourself when you are willing to receive Love from all the Love being shared.
Today is a healing reminder to our world that Love matters and must be given to be fully alive.

I am loving you as I love me.
I am loving you as I love my family and friends.
I am loving you as I love my home and work.
I am loving you as I love Goodness and Beauty everywhere.

I am loving you.. all the time, whether you know it or now.
Love gives my whole life meaning and purpose, vitality and joy.
Loving you,

Betty Lue

LOVE

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

 It makes no difference
  how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.
