Love is Letting Go of Fear

Love is forgiving all the ways we are afraid to love and be loved.
Divine Love is loving everyone equally.
Unconditional Love is without expectation or requirements to fulfill.
Spirit loves without a desire to “get” anything in return.

How do you see yourself “loving”?
If you are cautious, you will be careful about who you love and how you love.
If you are needy, you will love seeking approval or to get a return on your investment.
If you are defensive, you will protect yourself by waiting to love until you are loved.

When we love ourselves, we easily love others.
When we are filled with joy, we will naturally share our joy.
When we trust ourselves, we trust others in what they choose.
When we forgive ourselves, we can let go of mistakes and quickly love again.

Love is seeing beneath the surface to the best way to respond with love to those around us.
Love is realizing that everyone desires to love and be loved, but may have learned to be afraid.
Love is giving others the space they need to feel safe and trust the one giving them love.
Love is freeing others to live their lives as they choose without feeling rejected or afraid.

When we judge, compare, criticize, manipulate or try to change others, we interfere with Love.
When we have attacked others (even unconsciously), we usually fear being attacked or rejected.
When we know that under every relationship there is a deep and abiding Love, we relax and trust.
When we forgive all blocks to the awareness of the Presence of Love, we trust in Love.

Love has been defined by human emotions.
Human Love is often conditional, needy, fear-based and somewhat restrictive and demanding.
Spiritual Love is totally unconditional, abundant, trusting, freeing and accepting of others.
This Love may be felt emotionally or simply be a way of being and extending energy.

I often find Love defined only by what is seen on TV and in movies and books.
However the Love I speak of is Spiritual, Godly, divine and transcends human limitations.
Divine Love is healing and creative.
Divine Love is open-minded and appreciative.

If you think of anyone who has loved you unconditionally, without demands or expectations, you will know Spiritual Love.
Give yourself the opportunity to look for those people and times when you too have loved freely.
Perhaps children, or an admired person, or your pets have given you a glimpse of the power of love.

Letting go of fear is a key to Loving unconditionally.
“I forgive myself for limiting myself and my Love.”
“I forgive myself for being afraid to Love with trust and freedom.”
“I choose to love myself unconditionally.”

I am loving you and all is well.

LOVE

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

 It makes no difference
  how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

 If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.
