Who Do You Think You Are?

“You are what you eat.”
“You are a spiritual being having a human experience.”

“As a man thinketh, so is he.”

“ You are a God created You, whole and happy and free.”

“You are what you have inherited from your mother and father.”

“You are the Light of the world.”

“ Your destiny is in the stars.” Or in your numerology or the enneagram or ……

It really matters not what “they” say.
It only matters what you believe.
What you conceive and believe, you can achieve.”We are free to choose what we imagine and believe about ourselves.

We can erase and undo anything we choose.
We can claim and identify with anything we choose as well.
So when we choose what to think about ourselves, let us choose wisely.
With consciousness, we awaken to the possibility of claiming that which we respect and admire.

What we perceive in others, we strengthen in ourselves.
We become like those with whom we associate.
What we ingest through our mind, body and spirit, feeds us.
Our experiences and memories shape our beliefs and our imaginings.

When we treat ourselves with sensitivity and kindness, we are more sensitive and kind with others.
When we trust and respect ourselves, we trust and respect others more.
When we are clear, concise and confident, others attend to our thoughts, words and behaviors more.
When we are spontaneous, happy and flexible, others feel more happy around us.

There are many ways to look at our lives and who we think we are.
The real work is to take the time to look at ourselves and our lives.
We need to listen to our thoughts and our words to hear ourselves.
We must come to know ourselves through our life story as well as how we feel.

When we are willing to see what our lives have been, we can see wht we think of ourselves.
When we want to change our story and renew our lives, we can undo what was and choose again.
When we are forgiving and neutral, we see we have unlimited possibilities open for the choosing.
Our life is what we make it through our thoughts, words and interactions.

We are free to be.
