Freedom

Do you see?  You are free.
You choose or you can snooze.
You can lose or you can win.
The game of life you begin again.

I love this game, because it is so forgiving.
You can pass go or go to jail,
You can buy lots of stuff and lose it all.
You can feel sad or mad or have a ball.

Yes, you can start again and still again.
You can have the same players or make new friends.
It is just what all games teach.
It matters not the outcome, but how you play the game.

“OK”, you say, but I have lost it all.
I am mad at myself for the choices I have made.
I want to pick up my toys and go home.
That’s fine too or you can stay and begin again.

The freedom we have teaches us what and who to trust.
Love is the freedom to choose again, my friends.
Love is learning to trust in our own inner voice.
When we practice listening within, we know the best choice.

For those who fear making a mistake….
Take time to listen and then stay awake.
The world changes with each moment in time.
So we must be willing to respond quickly until we find……

The way that is safe and fun and easy for all.
The highest and best is the choice that serves all.
There is no right way to live, but rather to give your best.
To everyone and everything to be truly happy and free.

So let yourself be serious with work
Or dance and sing as you play in delight.
Whatever you do, may it turn out all right
As you trust your heart and live what is true.

Children are our best teachers when given the space to live naturally.
They keep on loving and living no matter the cost.
They leave situations that cause them pain.
They rest when tired and eat when hungry just what they want.
They balance life with creativity, rest, work and play.

Children seek to be happy, to make friends and have fun.
Children want to feel safe and loved and at home wherever they are.
Children love to explore with curiosity and wonder.
They share their creations, their discoveries and their accomplishments with those they trust.

Children teach us to live true to ourselves and our inner spirit.
Live a little today as though you were a child….for inside you still are.
Loving you and me as we set ourselves free once again!
