Afraid of Love?

Love is freedom and Trust.

Love is letting go of fear.

Love is trusting and choosing the Highest Good.

Love is letting life be as it is.

Our Greatest Fear May Be Love!!

Are you afraid to Love?

Are you careful about being loving?

Are you cautious about being loved?

Have you learned to love only special ones?

It would appear we have it backwards.

We seem to fear (distrust) almost everyone.

We seem to love only special ones.

We seem to become afraid to lose their love.

If Love is natural, why do we need it?

If we are created as Love, why don’t we be it?

If we are here to Love, what keeps us from sharing it?

If our power and purpose is Love, why do we limit it?

We seem to have learned that love hurts.

And Real Love heals.

We seem to believe we lose ourselves in Love.

Real Love is how we find ourselves.

We may have learned to let someone love us, is to allow them to control us.

We may have experienced that Love is fickle and depends on someone’s mood.

We may believe we need to earn love by giving what we may not have.

We may distrust our love will ever be enough to be received and appreciated.

The many definitions and ideas and images of Love have distorted our beliefs.

Whatever we believe tends to be what we seek and create for our selves.

The Love we experience is a product of our thoughts, words and behavior.

The Love we know is often distorted by the stories we have heart and told.

When we know unconditional Love, we know the unlimited, inclusive and creative power of Love.

Love reveals the need for Love and heals by loving.

Love opens the door to safety and trust and gives respite and peace.

Love is the space of remembering and awakening to the Love within>

Love is the place of renewal and new beginnings.

Love offers the natural forgiving essence of learning and giving.

Love is coming home to one’s authentic Self.

Love is creating all that is good and whole and beautiful.

Love is the space of freedom and trust.

Love is the freedom to choose, to create, to discover.

Love is the trust that all things work together for Good.

Love is the way we live and give with gratitude.

Loving ourselves invites us to learn from every encounter.

Loving ourselves encourages us to trust our inner voice.

Loving ourselves frees us to make the best choice for ourselves.

Loving ourselves opens us to create the best life we know.

While we cannot change, fix or make another be what we want, we can influence ourselves.

While we cannot count on others being, choosing, feeling what we want, we can free them.

While we cannot shape others to choose to be with us, we can love them enough to let them go.

While we cannot make anyone love us, we can let go of our attachment and neediness.

Love may be confusing.

Love may be amusing.

Love may be fearful

Love may be tearful.

But when you love with trust and freedom, it is clear and free with no attachment to specialness.

Loving you in remembering to Love,

Betty Lue
