Talk Is Just Talk

Affirmations:
I trust what I see more than what I hear.
I believe what is fair, caring and sharing.
I know I do not know and so go to Higher Power.
I listen to the Voice Within that teaches only Love.

What “They” Say

Do you believe what “they” say?
Do you know what is true?
Are you convinced by media?
How do you know?

Parents may say, “Do what I say, not what I do”.
If they don't do it, how do you know what is true?
Politicians and media may say “Believe me.”
If they don't know, how can we know what is true?

Look for yourself.
Research and get the half truths they tell.
Notice everyone has their own opinion.
Recognize that facts differ depending on the perceiver.

It is valuable to look at what history shows us.
It is helpful to watch what they do.
Life choices validate what we might believe.
Acknowledging mistakes shows us what we can learn.

Our minds may tell “lies” simply because we believe what we want to be true.
Recognize opinions are “facts” we believe are true.
Everything changes depending on our perspective.
Our point of view changes depending on where we stand.

To learn more, we must be willing to look with an open mind.
To learn more, we must be free of our own prejudice.
To learn more, we must see a higher perspective.
To learn more, we must listen within.

When we know we do not know, we are willing to ask questions.
When we know we do not know, we trust our higher power.
When we know we do not know, we forgive our opinions and pre judgment.
When we know we do not know, we free ourselves and allow transformation.

Parents change their minds and their rules.
Politicians change their allegiance and their priorities.
Historians change their interpretation of what happened.
Humanity changes its focus depending on the times, the tragedies and the temperament.

So let us be willing to look again.
Let us open to see things differently.
Let us choose to “go high”.
Let us choose what brings us peace.

Letting go and allowing myself to “know”.

Those Who Know

To “know” is to “love”.
For when we fully know, we have an experience of acceptance, understanding, trust and love.

In working with this list of levels of consciousness, we can easily substitute “love” for “know”.
Perhaps, this will simplify and clarify where you are in your own Self-Knowing process.

·      Those who don’t know and don’t know they don’t know.
·      Those who don’t know and don’t care.
·      Those who don’t know and don’t want to know.
·      Those who don’t know and wish they did.
·      Those who don’t know and seek to know.
·      Those who are coming to know.
·      Those who know and are afraid of what they know.
·      Those who know and are afraid they don’t know.
·      Those who know and hold back what they know.
·      Those who know and share what they know in order to know.
·      Those who know and know they know quietly.
·      Those who are what they know.

or with substitution: (to “Know” is to “Love”.)

·      Those who don’t love and don’t know they don’t love.
·      Those who don’t love and don’t care.
