Affirmations:
I use my thoughts, words and feelings purposefully.
I know I can choose what to think and say and feel.
I explore what is fun, safe, easy and effective.
I forgive and quickly release that which no longer works.
When you choose
what feelings to have and express, choose what works.
When you decide what
emotions do for you, experiment with what works.
When you observe
yourself and others, look for what emotions actually do.
When you try out the
full range of emotions, discover what is really true for you.
Anger hurts giver
and receiver.
When you want help,
why use hurt to get attention?
When you want to be
helpful, why use angry demands to get through?
There must be a
better way!
Anger is an
expression of withheld energy.
Energy can be used
to create or destroy.
When we withhold
energy it often becomes toxic.
Toxic energy becomes
distorted and destructive.
When we blame,
criticize we are angry about what we are withholding.
When we judge or
condemn, we are angry about what we are denying ourselves.
When we are abusive
or violent, we are angry about our own mistake and inept lives.
When we display
anger, we are covering our own guilt about lack of purpose, integrity and
change.
Energy is meant
to be used for good.
When we use our life
energy to do harm, we fear repercussions.
When we attack
another, we fear being attacked.
What we give and do
to others, we attract to ourselves.
Anger is not
justified in any form. ACIM
Anger is learned
from others who cannot see positive possibilities.
When people cannot
imagine or believe something beneficial, they may feel frustrated and helpless.
When feeling
helpless and powerless, the ego feigns power through angry thoughts, words and
actions.
When there is no
peace, there can be no understanding.
When there is no
understanding, there can be no compassion.
When there is no
compassion, there can be resolution.
When there is no
resolution, there can be no harmony.
What to do about
anger?
Step away.
Breathe and calm
yourself.
Forgive your harmful
thoughts and feelings.
Choose again with
inner wisdom and love.
You know better
than to harm another.
When you know
better, do better.
Stop hurting
yourself and others with anger.
Forgive yourself for
denying love and wisdom to yourself and others.
Forgive and you
will see things differently.
Betty Lue is always
forgiving and loving.
Loving and
appreciating you doing the REAL WORK.
This is ours to do
for one and for all.

Do It Anyway by Kent M. Keith
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true
enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy it all overnight.
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.
