Good begets Good.
Love heals lack of Love.
Kindness soothes loneliness.
Respect teaches us to see and seek the Good within.
If we want respect, we must treat others respectfully.
If we want others to listen, we must be willing to listen to them.
If we want sensitivity and caring, we must be sensitive and caring.
If we want Love, we must learn to Love unconditionally.
How many ways do we need to see that violence begets more violence?
Whether violent behavior on TV, video or at home, children act out what they see.
Whether violent angry words or threats or demands for obedience, children learn what they hear.
We are teaching children and adults, co-workers, drivers on the freeway, everyone with our behavior.
Do you know how to step away?
Do you know how to shut your mouth?
Do you know how to quiet your mind?
Do you know how to extend peace?
Many do not know how to bring calm to a storm.
Most do not understand how to forgive.
People seem to confront and “fight” fear with more fear.
All anger is hurt and fear expressed as a defense.
When we can see the lack of love, we will respond with Love.
When we can see the guilt calling for forgiveness, we will forgive.
When we can hear the cry for compassion and understanding, we will listen.
When we feel they are lost, confused, afraid and needy, we will give our best.
Most solutions are simple, when we take the time to see what is needed.
When hungry, tired and stressed, everyone needs food, rest and relaxation.
When feeling blamed, guilty and unsafe, people speak and act defensive.
When people act out, they need to know they are safe, understood and loved.
How can you be the one who gives when there is a need?
How can you be the listener when someone needs to talk?
How can you be the comforter when someone is in pain?
How can you be the source of inspiration when someone needs encouragement?
It requires that we first be sensitive and responsible to and for ourselves.
It asks that we take time everyday to fill our own gas tank in the most inspiring way.
It calls us to give what we ourselves really want to receive.
We can be the One when we are willing and open to listen within and give from our hearts.
Loving you in remembering to Love You!

WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE
words and music by Pete Seeger
performed by Pete Seeger and Tao Rodriguez-Seeger
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the flowers gone?
Girls have picked them every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young girls gone?
Taken husbands every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Covered with flowers every one
When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?
Forgiveness is the Key to Happiness and Inner Peace
Every morning and every night, say this prayer:
I forgive everything and everyone, every experience and every memory of the past and present that needs forgiveness.
I forgive positively everyone.
God is Love.
I am forgiven and governed by God’s Love alone.
God’s Love is now harmonizing my life and its problems.
Realizing this, I abide in peace.
I am now forgiven by everything and everyone of the past and present that needs to forgive me.
I know that forgiveness unblocks whatever stands between me and my good.
I am grateful for the power of God’s Word.
Amen
