Where Are You?

Are you here or there?
Are you somewhere or nowhere?
Do you know where you are?
Do you know where you are going?

Is your life full of questions or answers?
Do you have a plan, a path, a mission, a purpose?
Can you articulate what is true for you?
Do you know what you stand for, your values and ethics?

Is it possible that we have lost our way, because we are lost?
Isn’t it likely that our society and families are in chaos, because we have no direction?
When the people lose their moral compass, they simply follow the strongest voice.
When people no longer know what is “right” and “true” for them, they stop deciding.

Without a purpose and mission, with no north star, without clear values and direction, we go no where.
When times get confused, difficult and dangerous, it is time to step back into our inner sanctum.
Within, whether in prayer, reflection, contemplation or soul-searching, we can find what has meaning.
Yes, it requires a willingness to be quiet, to listen, to center ourselves and to seek an inner knowing.

What more can we do to know where we are and what we are to affirm and say and do?
We can stop using meaningless words and offering empty promises.
We can let go of useless activity and contradicting commitments.
We can forgive ourselves for forgetting what really matters.

VALUES CLARIFICATION is essential.
Write down your top 5-10 values.
Sort through all you value to find what is really most important to you.
Where do you choose to spend your time, energy and money?

What are you here to do and be?
Live true to your values to be in integrity.
This will begin to be your moral compass, to give your life some guideposts to follow.
You can find inner peace, happiness and profound love and gratitude when you live your Truth.

I know when I am at peace, in love and happy, I am living in truth with my purpose here and now.
I know when I am conflicted, fearful and unhappy, I am living out of integrity and off purpose.
I know I can easily forgive myself when I am off purpose and remind myself of what is True.
I know I am open and willing to always live my best and give my best by choosing what is True for me.

Now what about you?
What are your values?
What are your guideposts?
Are you willing to choose only what is true for you?

Now is your time to forgive errors and choose again for what is on purpose for you everyday!
Loving you in living at peace and on purpose,
Betty Lue
