(Irish Blessings Below for your enjoyment!)
May the blessings of God fill you with love and delight today and everyday.
Love is the way we live in gratitude.
Love is as Love does.
Love seeks only to give.
Love is who we are here to be.
Loving you is loving me.
Love lives and gives endlessly.
The only mistake we ever make is when we forget to Love.
Never quit on Love, for it is Who You Are.
Have you ever questioned what is “luck”?
Have you wondered what is a curse?
Have you considered karma?
Have you been willing to free yourself from superstition?
Consider that we participate in the outcome of our actions and experiences.
Consider that when we feel guilt, we expect and even call for punishment.
Consider that when we condemn or curse anyone, we are condemning ourselves.
Consider that when we forgive, we offer our blessings of healing and love.
Do not curse for any reason.
Always bless and you will heal.
Do not withhold love or wish ill.
Always extend peace to one and all.
Life is for giving.
You are the gift.
When you give yourself freely, you realize the gift You Are.
Your gifts of blessings and love are so needed right now.
I am loving you and me and all the world,
Betty Lue
The Gift You Are
You are the gift.
In your healing, I am healed.
In your smiling, I find joy.
In your learning, I am filled with wisdom.
In your free expressions, I am empowered.
In your abundance, I too prosper.
In your spontaneity, I am set free.
In your joy, I know heaven.
And so it is that you give your Self to me
And I receive you with love and gratitude.
I am the gift I give to You
And I fully receive the gift I freely give.
As I know You, I know my Self.
As I give to you, I receive all good.
As I support you, I am supported by the Universe.
As I honor and respect you, I experience gratitude in all my being.
As I love you, I am loving all of God's creation.
I know you and believe in you.
I honor, respect and support you in being.
In you and me is all the Universe.
We are gifts to one another.
- Betty Lue
May there always be work for your hands to do.
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine on your windowpane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow the rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
As you slide down the banister of life,
May the splinters always be facing the right direction.
May you always have
Walls for the winds
A roof for the rain,
Tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you love near you
And all of your heart’s desires.
May God fill your heart
With gladness to cheer you,
And may you always
Walk in peace and beauty.
May those who love us, love us.
And for those who don’t love us,
May God turn their hearts;
And if He doesn’t turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we will know them by their limping.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back,
The sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
May the blessing of light be upon you,
Light on the outside,
Light on the inside.
With God’s sunlight shining on you,
May your heart glow with warmth like a turf fire
That welcomes friends and strangers alike.
May the light of the Lord shine from your eyes
Like a candle in the window
Welcoming the weary traveler.
May the blessing of God’s soft rain be on you.
Falling gently on your head, refreshing your soul
With the sweetness of little flowers newly blooming.
May the strength of the winds of Heaven bless you,
Carrying the rain to wash your spirit clean
Sparkling after in the sunlight.
May you understand the strength and power of God
In a thunderstorm in winter.
And the quiet beauty of creation
In the calm of a summer sunset.
May you come to realize that
Insignificant as you may seem in this great universe,
You are an important part of God’s plan.
May God watch over you
And keep you safe from harm.
May the blessing of God’s earth be on you
And as you walk the roads,
May you always have a kind word for those you meet.
May the most you wish for be the best you get.
May the best times you’ve ever had be the worst you will ever see.
May joy fill your heart in whatever you do
And the luck of the Irish be always with you.
May you be in Heaven a half hour before the
Devil knows you’re dead!
When Irish eyes are smiling,
Tis like a morn in spring.
With a lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing
When Irish hearts are happy
All the world is bright and gay
When Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, they steal your heart away.
May your blessings outnumber
the shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you wherever you go.
May the best day of your past
Be the worst day of your future.
I’m looking over a four leaf clover
That I overlooked before
One leaf is sunshine, the second is rain,
Third is the roses that grow in the lane.
No need explaining the one remaining
Is somebody I adore.
I’m looking over a four leaf clover
That I overlooked before.
May luck be our companion
May friends stand by our side
May history remind us all
Of Ireland’s faith and pride.
May God bless us with happiness
May love and faith abide.
Leprechauns, castles, good luck and laughter
Lullabies, dreams, and love ever after.
Poems and songs with pipes and drums
A thousand welcomes when anyone comes.
That’s the Irish for you!
There’s a dear little plant that grows in our isle,
’Twas St. Patrick himself, sure, that sets it;
And the sun of his labor with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the mireland,
And they call it the dear little Shamrock of Ireland.
May your neighbors respect you,
Troubles neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And Heaven accept you.
May you have:
A world of wishes at your command
God and his angels close at hand
Friends and family their love impart,
And Irish blessings in you heart.
May God grant you many years to live,
For sure he must be knowing
The earth has angels all to few
And Heaven is overflowing.
These things I warmly wish to you-
Someone to love
Some work to do
A bit o’ sun
A bit o’ cheer
And a guardian angel always near.
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.
May the lilt of lush laughter lighten every load,
May the midst of Irish magic shorten every road.
May you taste the sweetest pleasures that fortune ever bestowed,
And may all your friends remember all the favors you are owed.
May you live as long as you want,
And never want as long as you live.
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way-
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.
Dance as if no one were watching,
Sing as if no one were listening,
And live every day as if it were your last.
Lucky stars above you,
Sunshine on your way,
Many friends to love you,
Joy in work and play.
Laughter to outweigh each care,
In your heart a song.
And gladness waiting everywhere
All your whole life long!
Grant me a sense of humor, Lord,
The saving grace to see a joke,
To win some happiness from life,
And pass it on to other folks.
May joy and peace surround you,
Contentment latch your door,
And happiness be with you now
And bless you evermore.
