The Best Gifts of All

The best gift is one you receive in the giving.
The best gifts are when you forgive the past.
The best gifts make you happy to give.
The best gifts are those you give from your heart.
The best gifts are in loving the givers and receivers.
The best gifts are those you look forward to giving.
The best gifts may not be things.
The best gifts are what feels like love to the recipient.
The best gifts show that you notice what is important.
The best gifts have no sacrifice.
The best gifts are those given because you want to give.
The best gifts are those given with Love.

When I began writing this I only thought of giving.
I didn’t notice that someone might read the title and think it was about receiving.
When you learn that your whole life is about GIVING, you understand.
You will discover that everything works for Good when you are giving only Good,

Life is for Giving.
You are the Gift.
It is in giving yourself that you recognize the Gift You Are.

When you learn love languages for those you give to, you may become aware that we are all different.
Some feel loved with gifts.
Some feel loved with quality time.
Some feel loved with affirming words.
Some feel loved with affection and touch.
Some feel loved with acts of service.

I prefer acts of service.
When you help me help others, I feel loved.
When you inspired others, I feel loved.
When you hug and affirm or prayer for others, I feel loved.
When you genuinely give to others, I feel loved.

So thanks for forgiving your withholding love from anyone including yourself.
Thanks for loving yourself, so you can freely love others.
Thanks for enjoying the holiday season and making it enjoyable for others.
Thanks for bringing peace to your family and those you encounter.

You see, in everything you do for others, you are doing it for me.
In every act of kindness, you are sharing your kindness with me.
In all the ways you serve those around you with Respect and genuine appreciation, you are loving me.
I totally appreciate all of us who freely forgive, erase and undo the blocks to joyfully loving all.

What a wonderful holiday this is for those who choose to love…..no matter what.
And for those who forget to love, let us love them until them remember to love themselves!

Loving you with a heart that is True B’Lue,
Betty Lue

Come join us for Christmas Caroling on Christmas day in the afternoon at nursing homes in Brentwood and Pleasant Hill.
