Changing Our Mind

What we can change is our mind.
Our thoughts attract similar experiences.
Our thoughts cluster to create beliefs.
Beliefs become the filter through which we see and experience our world.

And so it is…..
We can change our minds.
To forgive is to erase our minds.
To erase our minds yields no thoughts.

To have no thoughts or a quiet mind, leave us open.
We can open to the Higher Mind or Holy Thoughts.
We can open to the Will of Goodness (often called God).
We can open to think with the Mind of God.

And with our thoughts of Goodness, we attract Goodness.
With our thoughts of Good, we begin to believe in Good.
We begin to see Good and experience Good in our world.
We behold the Goodness in ourselves and in others.

To think the thoughts taught, believed and seen in the world, yields a worldly viewpoint.
To think the thoughts of duality, good and evil, we create beliefs in the same.
With beliefs in good and evil, we attract and experience good and evil in our lives.
To forgive or undo these thoughts requires that we erase our minds with love.

Worldly whitewash covers the dirt with sugar or temporary whiteout, “holy pretending”.
Spiritual showers cleanse us and return us to the innocence from which we have come.
To “become as a child” is to release “adulteration”, defensiveness and justification and see with new eyes.
To be “born again” for me is to give and receive true forgiveness of all things and return to wholeness.

I am choosing to use this time in Hawaii on sabbatical, a spiritual vacation, to “innocentize” myself.
I am choosing to reclaim, my natural state, free from the thinking and adulteration of the world.
I am choosing to let go and trust in the Goodness that always is in me and in all.
I am choosing to release any learned needs to protect or defend, judge or justify.

I am choosing to love me,  all of me, mind, body and Spirit.
And in loving me, I can see and love You, all of you, Mind, Body and Spirit.
