New Possibilities

Letting go yields new possibilities.
How would you like your life to be if you began anew?
How could you imagine your ideal work and home?
Can you see yourself changing your personality and your body?

When we let go of our old skin, we have new skin.
When we let go of our old habits, we can create new habits.
When we let go of inappropriate behaviors, we can choose new and better behaviors.
When we let go of destructive or unhealthy relationships, we can choose positive and healthy ones.

When we get cling to the old fruit, it becomes toxic and inedible.
When we are stuck on the familiar and comfortable, it may engender laziness and complacency.
When we stop using the faculties we have, we feel debilitated and weakened.
When we step away from challenges and avoid the mess, we become fearful and limited.

There is new hope and new possibility.
No matter what our age or physical condition, we can keep growing.
No matter what our life experiences, we can choose to release the past and step into living right now.
No matter how dependent we have been on people, substances, jobs and living conditions, we can free ourselves to step into novelty, change, rebirth and even transformation.

With each new experience, we can be awakened.
With each new challenge, we can be strengthened.
With each new relationship, we can be encouraged.
With each new moment, we can be inspired.

Life and how we live it is our choice.
We can get stuck in being disappointed and regretful and live in sorrow, anger and pain.
Or we can step into the future possibilities or recreating that which we idealize.
We have an opportunity in every moment to meet life new again.

As you awaken each morning, make a choice.
How will this day be for me?
Choose consciously exactly what you want to experience.
Make a statement of affirmation. “This will be a great day!”
Possible affirmations: (Write your own!)
I am alive, alert and enthusiastic.
I greet this day with love in my heart.
I choose to be kind, respectful and attentive to those I meet.
I will brighten the day for everyone I encounter.
I let go and I let Good into my life.
Everything always works more exquisitely than I can plan.

The real work to open to new possibilities is to LET GO of all your beliefs in the old ways.
The real work is always to forgive past experiences and let them go.
The real work is to forgive any stuckness, dependency, or regret and to choose again.
The real work is to choose the very best you know for everyone including yourself.

Loving you,

Betty Lue
