How To Love

Yesterday I shared that Love is what you choose it to be for you.
Today I want to remember that Love is in the eye and heart of the one who receives your love.
You can pet a dog all day, but if you do not feed him, he will not feel your love.
You can say “I love you” all day, but if you do not give what the other needs and knows as love, they will not feel loved.

To love is to give what is needed, wanted and known to be loving.
To love is to attend to the specific needs of the other.
To love is to become aware of what the other sees and feels and knows as loving and give it.
To love is to love yourself fully to be able to then love another freely.

If someone needs quiet, hush yourself.
If someone needs space, step away.
If someone needs a home cooked meal, get in the kitchen.
If someone needs to be touched, reach out.
If someone needs a home, help them create one.
If someone needs safety, stop judging, attacking and criticizing.
If someone needs to be comforted, give reassurance.
If someone needs to lighten up, help them laugh and find humor.
If someone needs to get out of pain, make them comfortable.
If someone needs to sleep, help them get rest.
If someone needs approval, give them appreciation.
If someone needs self esteem and confidence, build them up with words and respect.
If someone needs help, help them with the best you have.

Every time you help another, you are helping humanity.
Every way you love someone, you are loving all creation.
Every moment you give you best, you are giving to yourself and all.
Every act of love is a gift to Love It Self.

Love increases when shared.
Love grows more love to be given.
Love is our natural state.
Love is a reminder of who and what we are.

It is totally easy to love, when …

·     You have loved yourself well.
·     You forgive all lack of love in yourself and others.
·     You seek only to share the Love You Are.
·     You realize to deny another denies your Self.
·     You understand your true purpose here.
·     You see another as your Self.

Loving makes me happy, whole and free.
