Are You Listening?

There is so much noise in our world. Meaningless words being sung and spoken.
Arguing, and disrespectful interactions.
Careless demands of children and partners.
Forgetting to remember, everyone is listening
.

There is so much chatter in our minds.Meaningless words about ourselves and others.
Arguing and disrespectful inner conflicts and beliefs.
Careless demands of ourselves and our energies.
Forgetting to remember, we are listening.

What will it take to stop the empty and unloving words? How can we make room for what is good and kind?
When will we learn that we are teaching our world?
How can we change our thoughts, our words and our behavior?

When I forget, I hear myself.
When I hear myself, I must forgive and erase.
When I erase, I can choose again.
When I choose what has meaning, I choose kindness and love.

If you have never heard your words, begin to journal all the words inside.
If you don’t know what and how you sound, take yourself speaking to another.
If you like what you heard and would respond joyfully, leave well enough alone.
If you dislike what you hear inside and from your mouth, hesitate before you speak.

How can I say this with respect?
How can I respond with love?
How can I serve with kindness?
How can I teach my world to love?

The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more I love, trust and respect others.
The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more others love, trust and respect me.
The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more others love, trust and respect themselves.
The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more others love, trust and respect others.

Change for the best comes from giving ourselves the very best we know.Giving ourselves the best we know creates the foundation on which everyone benefits.
Choosing the four affirmations, written and spoken 20 times daily for two weeks will change your life.
When you change yourself, your whole world and everyone in it, changes in your perception.

When you find these basic and beginning affirmations work (when you do the work!), you will want more.
When you see that there will be resistance in your mind and those around you, you will work harder.
When you notice how there is more light in your mind and love in your heart, you will find direction.
When you see where you are going, your will be inspired to do more to teach others the same.

Life is worthwhile and meaningful only when you do the work.
You are the One.
Now is Your Time.

Loving you,

Betty Lue
