Do You know?

Do you know how to conserve time, money and energy?
Do you know how to choose what to do, what to buy, where to go?
Do you know how to stay healthy and happy?
Do you know how best to have a healthy family life?

Do you know that it is best to save for a rainy day?
Do you know that it is better to have no debts?
Do you know how to find work that suits your needs?
Do you know how to live on what you have?

Do you know when you are expecting too much?
Do you know when you are not appreciating what you have?
Do you know when you are quitting on yourself and others?
Do you know when you are deceiving yourself?

Do you know when you are happy and fulfilled?
Do you know when you have enough?
Do you know when you can be pleased with yourself?
Do you know how to appreciate your accomplishments?

Do you know how to celebrate the good life you have?
Do you know how to say “hello” and “goodbye”?
Do you know how to be respectful with “please” and “thank you”?
Do you know how to let others know how much you care?

Do you know the joy of learning and sharing something new?
Do you know the curiosity and wonder of a child?
Do you know the delight of watching miracles in nature?
Do you know the amazing changes that happen over time?

Do you know how to serve others with respect?
Do you know how to tell the whole truth in a helpful way?
Do you know when to be helpful and when to let others do it?
Do you know how to listen with your heart?

Do you know the gift of life and all its play?
Do you know the beauty of being grateful every day?
Do you know when to be silent with kindness and respect?
Do you know how to honor yourself before saying, “Yes”?

There is so very much I do not know and am willing to learn.
There is so very much that changes within each moment, I must stay open and willing.
There is so very much that I miss when I am busy trying, fixing, avoiding or ignoring.
There is so very much that I am willing to let go to create the inner space where I can KNOW.

Loving you and me as we set ourselves free to Know.
