Where Did We Get Lost?

How do we get out of the mess?
How can we stop the confusion?
How do we learn to be happy?
Where did this all come from?

·     Karma and past lives?
·     Parents and their imprinting?
·     Life history and experiences?
·     Accidents of fate and foolishness?

Does it really matter where it all started?
Do you need someone or something to blame?
Are you willing to be the One to set it right?
Can you forgive and erase the past and choose again your future?

If you believe in past lives or even the mistakes in this life are punished, so be it and choose anew.
If you recognize you took on your family patterns and are doomed to repeat them, learn and heal.
If you are simply repeating your history over and over, stop and forgive and choose differently.
And if you simply feel you have been unfortunate and foolish, make your own luck and choose wisely.

We are the first generation who can stop the madness.
We are the first people who can pioneer a new way.
We are the “chosen” ones who have the time, energy and willingness to blaze a new trail.
We simply are willing and open to release the old and choose the new ways of being.

Will you end the cycle of guilt and blame?
Will you provide the healing balm of forgiveness for the mistakes of the past?
Will you learn to let go and learn?
Will you laugh away the fear and claim the joy of love?

It is time we stepped up to our responsibility.
It is time to choose our goal.
It is time to follow in the direction of our ideal.
It is time to use the thoughts, words and actions of those who succeed.

We can make a difference in our own lives, day by day.
We can change the way to think and believe, give and receive, love and create.
We can enter into a new agreement with ourselves to let no one and nothing hurt us.
We can stop quitting on ourselves and one another and believe and trust and heal and grow.

We can, because we want something better for ourselves and our children.
We can, because we are wise and willing, able and sincere.
We can, because we know there are answers to all our questions when we listen.
We can, because we will not quit on blazing the trail and following the path to peace.

I am joined with you in living with and for and true to the Highest Good I know.
Betty Lue

You have options everyday.
You are the chooser.
Your choice teaches everyone by your example.
Ask yourself: If you are choosing what is for the highest Good of all?
Imagine the results of your choice!
If you feel good, right and happy about the results, go for it.

Do It Anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy it all overnight.
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.
