Where Is God?

Blessings on this Martin Luther King Day!

Where is God?  Where is the Good?
When we are children, we may wonder what is Good and where is God?
When we are adults, we may wonder what is God and where is the Good?
In New thought, Unity, Religious Science and Christian Science and many other philosophies, God is All.

There is no spot where God is not.
God is All There Is.
There is one Presence and One Power in the Universe. God the Good Omnipotence.
God is Love and Love is all there is.  Only Love prevails.

When you begin to entertain that possibility, you may question:
Where is God in this place of seeming “bad” or “evil”?
When you doubt and fear, you cannot be clear about what is real.
What you feel may distort your experience of what is real.

To see the Good in all things, we need to forgive our judgments of what is bad.
To forgive our judgments of what is wrong, we need to choose to see with forgiving perception.
What we seek, we find.
When we look for Good, we will find it.

Thought creates.
What we believe, we see.
What we focus on, we create.
What we give energy to, we empower and increase.

For “non-believers”, there is always a “belief”.
What you believe it, your mind will seek evidence to prove itself right.
For true believers, there is a belief in what we want to be true.
What we believe, our minds seek evidence and experiences to prove ourselves right.

When we believe in good, we seek and see the Good.
When we believe in love, we seek and see the Love.
When we believe in God, whether within all life or perhaps as a separate Being, we will experience God.
What we want to see, will be real for us.

Where there is doubt, we experience both sides of our questioning mind.
Where there is fear, we experience reasons to be afraid.
Where there is trust, we experience lots to trust.
When our mind holds a belief, it will attract evidence to support its ideas.

Where there is lack of Love, there is a call for Love.
Where there is fear, there is a call for faith.
Where there is questioning, there is a call for assurance.
Where there is distrust and limitation, there is a call for trust and freedom.

Each of us is free to choose what we believe.
Each of us is learning who and what and how to trust in what is real for us.
Each of us is creating our own life experience by what we think and say and do.
You are choosing too and creating your own life expression and experience.

Making my choice audible, visible and real for me and You,
Betty Lue

This is one choice:

The 12 Principles of Attitudinal Healing
1.       The essence of our being is love.
2.       Health is inner peace, healing is letting go of fear.
3.       Giving and receiving are the same.
4.       We can let go of the past and of the future.
5.       Now is the only time there is, and each instant is for giving.
6.       We can learn to love ourselves and others by forgiving rather than by judging.
7.       We can become love finders rather than fault finders.
8.       We can choose and direct ourselves to be peaceful inside, regardless of what is happening outside.
9.       We are students and teachers to each other.
10.    We can focus on the whole of life, rather than the fragments.
11.    Since love is eternal, change need not be viewed as fearful.
12.    We can always perceive others as either extending love or giving a call for help.
Attitudinal Healing affirms that we are responsible for our thoughts and whatever feelings we experience.
Attitudinal Healing encourages us to re-examine our relationships, bringing them into the present by releasing past judgments and grievances.
Attitudinal Healing reminds us that perception is a mirror of what is in our mind.
