What Is Your Life Purpose?

What is your reason for being here?
What can you do to live your dream?
What is your ideal state of being?
How can you be true to yourself?

I am often asked what do I mean by a healing and holy purpose.
And how does someone find a way to live and love and give?

The simple and essential answer is to be happy and loving.

When we are living on purpose, we are happy and we are loving.

When you listen to your mind, you find a complexity of possibilities and choices.
When you listen to your heart, you know you simply need to be happy and loving.
When you listen to the world, you are tempted by doing and learning many things.
When you listen to the voice within, you are called to be Good and do Good.

Wherever we are, we can be on purpose with being and doing Good.
Whatever we do, we can do it with happiness and Love.
For many of us, we need to undo what is not “true” for us.
This means we need to only do and be and go where we are inspired and encouraged.

For many, they need to stop listening to external temptation and simplify their lives.
For others, they need to learn to support and encourage themselves first with Good.
For some, they need to forgive past mistakes and choose again for present on purposes.
For a few, they need to appreciate the goodness and beauty and love they have right now.

It is essential to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health to live on purpose.
When we are upset, we are off purpose.
When we are conflicted, we are not on purpose.
When we are unhappy, we are missing the mark.

Life offers us the path of peace and simplicity or the path of conflict and complexity.
Life offers us the path of forgiveness and gratitude or the path of judgment and complaining.
Life offers us places and people to love or places and people to fear.
There are infinite choices to confuse us, but the simple choice to do what pleases us.

Perhaps your life purpose is to live where and how and with whom those who make your heart sing.
Perhaps your life purpose is simply to live simply and be happy.
Perhaps your life purpose is to do good and enjoy the good you are doing.
Perhaps your life purpose is to listen within to the Goodness and God in you, trust and follow.

You will know because you are content and at home with yourself.
Loving you,
Betty Lue

Based on the answers above, develop a short paragraph outlining your purpose. Take the three top priorities from the four areas to which you just committed answers. Construct a statement that explains what you are beginning to sense in your purpose. This can be a work in progress. What is important is to commit to something in writing. Your purpose can be anything you want it to be and it can include anything that is important to you.
