Taking Care of You

What is taking impeccable care of you?
What is giving yourself the best?
What is being kind to yourself?
What is loving, trusting and respecting Your Self?

I often refer to remembering to care for yourself first, assuming people know what and how.
If you don’t have role models, how can you know what is best for you?
You may spend a lifetime experimenting and trying to find out what is best.
Self medication with food, drugs, meaningless activity will only mask the quest.

The basics are found in physical, mental, emotional and spiritual care.
However, there is also relationship, environmental, social, financial and work and life purpose care.
When our lives are in order and balance in every area, we feel whole and happy and free.
When lives our imbalanced, cluttered or focused on one area of discontent, we feel neglected and needy.

Physical Care:Are you getting sufficient rest each day?
Do you wake up feeling refreshed?
Do you feed your body the best foods, just right for you?
Does your diet energize and fulfill you?

Mental Care:Do you use your mind with clarity and focus?
Are you taking in sights and sounds that inspire you?
Are you learning everyday from everything your encounter?
Do you use your mind to solve problems with ease and creativity?

Emotional Care:Are you emotionally loving with your inner dialogue?
Do you forgive yourself instantly of any mistakes you make?
Are you willing to remind yourself regularly of how you support yourself?
Do you give yourself the kindness and happiness you desire?

Spiritual Care:Do you have a spiritual practice or activity that inspires you?
Do you have a place in your life that is a constant source of encouragement and guidance?
Do you give others the inspiration and encouragement they need?
Do you take time to listen within to your own intuition, inner guidance or the love in your heart?

These are a few questions you can ask yourself to guide you to take better care of you.
Remember your life is a gift and you are the one you are here to care for!!
Everyone must learn to care for themselves to the best of their ability.
You are at your best when you give yourself the best.

Loving you in loving you, so that you can better love others as they love themselves!!!;)
