Learning Continues!

School is out!
Or is school ever really over?
Learning continues whether in a classroom or in the world.
How, where and when do you learn best?

Do you learn best with others or alone?
Do you learn best with listening, observing, or experiencing?
Do you learn best when being instructed or on your own?
Do you learn best from a teacher or from your Self?

Are you knowledgeable in some areas and ignorant in others?
Are you skillful in some ways and challenged in others?
Are you better in a quiet or noisy environment?
Do you learn better with a clear desk or with stuff all around?

Do you learn from watching, from reading, from doing?
Can you learn about things that have no function or purpose for you?
Do you need rewards and bribes for learning well?
Are you motivated by fear, demand or threatened punishment?

Do you learn better when you mind was more open and less cluttered?
Are you archiving everything you have learned or only the beneficial info?
Do you have onto useless information, history and stories?
Are you attached to what you have learned, even the outdated stuff?

Is school ever really over?
When we are learning, we are growing.
We are choosing what we learn, when and where and from whom.
We can free ourselves from negative learning when we are willing.

We can discern what is valuable and what is valueless.
We can determine what topics interest us and how we use them.
We can teach others to learn ourselves.
We can learn from others, learning.

I love to learn differently than others.
My most inspired learning comes from observing what works and doesn’t work.
I look for what is best for me uniquely and encourage others to do the same.
I respect my learning needs and trust my choices.

I am learning everyday to play the games in life that are best for me.
I am learning in everyway life works when I choose what is fun, safe and easy.
I am learning that choosing the Loving way is always best for me holistically.
I am learning that all my relationships benefit from respect for our differences.

Thanks for honoring your own uniqueness.
Thanks for respecting what our children need to learn best.
Thanks for trusting that every individual benefits from what is best for them.
Thanks for letting go of pushing, punishing, threatening and  guilting others into learning your way.

Life is for learning and remembering LOVE.
Love is for trusting and freeing ourselves to learn our own way.
Trust is for respecting each individual’s timing, process and experiences.
Freedom is for letting go of our own need to get others to conform.

Letting go of wanting anyone to do what I want, unless they really want to.

How we all learn best!

If Children (and Adults) Live With……….

If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with: criticism, hostility, fear, pity, ridicule or jealousy,
They will learn to: condemn, fight, be apprehensive, feel sorry for themselves,
feel shy and feel envy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and others.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

You Are A Flower in the Garden of Life
If you would grow to be your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing & punishing

For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is tough as war
Yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies
But we open fully only to warmth & light
And our need to grow is fragile as a fragrance
Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still

So accept, respect,
Attend your sensitivity

A flower
Cannot be opened
With a hammer
