What Do You Count On?

Who do you trust?
Where do you get guidance for your direction?
How do you make wise decisions?
Where do you get your strength, resilience and power?

Some count on themselves.
That works for a limited time and perspective.
Some count on their leaders, therapists, coaches, physicians, bosses, teachers, ministers.
That works when you know they only see through their limited life experience and education.
Some count on psychics, hand readers, cards and mystical sources.
That works when we remember we can only see through the filters of our own interpretations.

There is wisdom within each one of us.
When we listen to our surface self, we connect with our learned beliefs and historical experiences.
When we listen to our deeper Self, we find a place of peace and love and inner contentment.
When we listen deeply, we know life can be good when we trust in the intrinsic Goodness within.

To count on this place of inner wisdom, we must access it consistently.
To trust there is a place that sees and knows what is truly best for us, we must listen and follow.
To trust we deserve what is truly best, we must forgive our judgments, guilt and fears.
To be willing to listen to this wellspring of profound love and wisdom, we must love ourselves.

Often without realizing how we are sabotaging or misguiding ourselves, we may sit in guilt and blame.
Without understanding  and self forgiveness, we may seek to do penance for our errors (or sins).
Without recognizing we may avoid the place of inner peace, intrinsic Good and seek for payback.
With God, with Good in us, we find a fun, safe and easy way to live with Peace and Happiness.

If you have difficulty counting on the Goodness, the God in you, you may have bypassed its guidance.
If you cannot hear, feel and know the Voice within, you may be sabotaging your listening.
If you do not trust your inner wisdom or intuition, you may not feel worthy or deserving of Good.
If you are not following what you hear, you may not experience the Good that God has in store for you.

If you are not a believer in God, perhaps you believe there is a creative Power that is Good.
If you are not a believer in Good, perhaps you believe humanity does not deserve Good.
If you are not a believer in something greater than yourself, perhaps you believe in finding a better way.
If you are not a believer in a loving and creative universe, perhaps you believe in doing Good.

Whatever you count on, believe it 100% and what you believe will be true for you.
Whatever you believe in consistently and wholeheartedly, will result in what you believe.
As a man thinks, so he becomes.
As we believe and trust (have faith), we will experience and create more.

Bless us all with the opportunity to change our mind, to think again (latin =“re-pent”).
We all are choosers, even if we choose not to choose.
So let us take responsibility for our lives by choosing what is for the highest good of all.

I trust in Goodness.
I trust in the Goodness in you and in me,
Blessed be.
