Freedom Day!

Affirmations:
I hold my freedom with great respect.
I free and trust myself with responsibility.
I learn to respect my freedom by being wholly responsible for my actions and inaction.
I value and appreciate those who secure freedom for our nation and its people.

Are You Free?

Do you think for yourself?
Are you living according to your own values?
Do you honor what is true for you?
Are you giving yourself an opportunity to do what is yours to do?

Do you know what is right for you?
Do you follow the crowd or your own way?
Are you living your truth or listening to others?
Are you in integrity with your beliefs and behavior?

When we live with freedom of thought, we can imagine what is good for everyone.
When we live with freedom of speech, we can say what is inspiring to people everywhere.
When we live with freedom of behavior, we can choose to act with kindness and respect to all people.
When we live with the freedom to love and honor differences, we can celebrate the uniqueness of all.

With freedom for each person’s beliefs, we allow people to learn naturally.
With freedom of choice of education, career, lifestyle and life purpose, we will play all the parts.
With freedom to do what is ours to do with no harm to others, we awaken to what is ours to do.
With freedom to eat, live, love and learn as we choose, we benefit ourselves and others.

Freedom comes with responsibility for the outcome.
Freedom comes with receiving what we give to others.
Freedom comes with accountability for others copying our thoughts, words and activities.
Freedom comes with the price of paying for what we have chosen.

And so it is, freedom is really choosing freedom to learn.
Freedom is choosing to experience the product of our choices.
Freedom comes with the responsibility of reaping the rewards or punishment of our actions.
Freedom is the way we learn the highest and best way to live with others.

When we choose ignorance, we are imprisoned in our own lack of awareness.
When we choose harmful behavior, we are suffering the fear of harm to ourselves.
When we choose to imprison and restrict others, we are burdened with responsibility for them.
When we choose to restrict, distrust and control others, we often are left with their continued dependence.

Fear keeps us imprisoned.
Prejudice makes us ignorant.
Ignorance keeps us in the dark.
Judgments keep us stuck.

We break free by forgiving ourselves and others.
We free ourselves by letting go of our criticisms, prejudices and stupidity.
We free ourselves by opening our eyes to see and our hearts to feel.
We set ourselves free by giving the understanding we want to receive.

Set yourself free to seek and find the Truth.
Free yourself to see and know.
Be free by relinquishing all attack and condemnation.
Release your self to your natural state of peace and joy and love.
