What Is Your Purpose Here?

Affirmations:
I appreciate my Self and my life.
I love, trust and respect my choices.
I value the life I have, what I do and how I live.
I Know Who I AM and I enjoy being Me.
I am not a body, personality or job: I Am free.
I am as I was created to be.

(I was asked by a reader, “What is my purpose here and where am I going?”

Who Am I?
Where Am I going?
What is the purpose of my life?

Life is to be sharing more of who you are and what you have.
Bottom line: You are here to be the One (Love) You Are.
You can also try Robert’ Life Purpose Readings. (See info below)
You can use all the self discovery tools and the Life Purpose exercise below.
And you can simply look at your whole life!!
Because your answer is there, between the pages of time.

What is it that gives your the greatest Joy?
When have you been the most happy and loving?
What does it take to help you return to the best in you?
Find your moments of sheer joy, gratitude and profound Love.
There your Purpose is and this is where you are going!

I have spent my life being who I AM and going where I am called to go.
I have been learning and teaching, healing and being healed.
I have been forgiving myself for holding learned thoughts of lack, littleness and limitation.
I have been clearing my mind of everything that is not healed, whole and holy.

We are here to do the work, learn the lessons, heal the wounds and forgive it all.
We are here to love one another, especially ourselves as God loves us.
We are here to enjoy each moment and be grateful for the goodness we give ourselves.
We are here to explore, experiment, translate and transform our thinking and our doing.

We are here to unwrap the precious Present of life.
We are here to be amazed and amused by the gifts Life brings.
We are here to comfort and assure, nourish and nurture our selves with only kindness, respect and Love.
We are here to be the One who shares the message of: :Seek and behold only Goodness and Love in All.

The greater our awareness, the greater the Gratitude.
The greater the sharing, the greater the Joy.
The greater the forgiveness, the greater the Peace.
The greater the Love, the greater theAbundance of Goodness and Holiness.

And so it is, we find ourselves and lose ourselves in the return to the Oneness of Love.
No more separation and fear.
No more effort and trial.
No more suffering and pain.

Life is the Gift we give ourselves to return to the One We Are.
What a Joy to be born again and again in the return to Love.
Let us remember and remind one another, we are the Love we seek.
Loving you as I remember again and again, I am Love.
Betty Lue

“Our Greatest Fear”

Our greatest fear
is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light,
not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
“Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented and fabulous?”
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that others won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some of us,
it is in everyone,
and as we let our own light shine
we unconsciously give other people permission
to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear
our presence automatically liberates others.
Marianne Williamson, 1992

What do I really want in my life?
(Make a list of at least 20 wants. Freely write down everything that comes to mind, with no censoring or limits.)
What does your heart want for you?
What is your simplest wish for yourself?
What do you really want to have?
What do you really want to be?
What do you really want to do?

What do I love to do?
What makes me the happiest?
What is my secret ambition?
What has given me the most satisfaction in the past?
What excites me about life?

Based on the answers above, develop a short paragraph outlining your purpose. Take the three top priorities from the four areas to which you just committed answers. Construct a statement that explains what you are beginning to sense in your purpose. This can be a work in progress. What is important is to commit to something in writing. Your purpose can be anything you want it to be and it can include anything that is important to you.
