Our Greatest Gifts

What are the greatest gifts in your life?
What has enriched your journey?
What has guided your way?
What has loved you well?

Sometimes a person or persons.
Sometimes a spiritual connection.
Sometimes a talent or resource.
Sometimes the inner You, loving You.

Have you loved the gift you value most?
Do you fully appreciate what is Good?
Are you open and willing to receive?
Do you utilize what you have for Good?

Do you honor what you have?
Do you trust who you are?
Do you respect all that is given?
Have you cherished the gifts of life?

People limit themselves, when they feel guilty.
People focus on the pain and problems.
People fear they will need to pay for Good.
People simply throw away the best things in life.

The greatest gifts are often unseen.
The most perfect teachings may go unnoticed.
The most loving ones may be denied.
The most happy times may be forgotten.

What does it take to remember?
What can you do to realize the Good?
How can you open to receive?
Are you willing to be grateful?

When you forgive yourself, you will receive All Good.
When you recognize your worth, you will appreciate your Gifts.
When you know you are loved, you will honor the wonder of your life.
When you are willing to be All You Are, you will treasure the Gifts you have.

Life is a joy to those who expect miracles
Life is secure for those who know Good is happening now.
Life is filled with gratitude for those who receive the gifts.
Life is an awesome journey to those who are full of wonder.

May we all seek and find the gifts within each moment, each relationship, each day we live.
Blessings of great Joy,
Betty Lue

You Are A Flower in the Garden of Life

If you would grow to be your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing & punishing

For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is tough as war
Yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies
But we open fully only to warmth & light
And our need to grow is fragile as a fragrance
Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still

So accept, respect,
Attend your sensitivity

A flower
Cannot be opened
With a hammer
