It’s All An Inside Job!

Stop looking outside yourself for Happiness.
Stop seeking inner Peace in the world.
Stop trying to get someone to Love you.
Stop attempting to get respect and appreciation from others.

When we seek, we believe we are lacking.
When we believe we are missing something, we are affirming and recreating our lack.
When we keep on telling ourselves what we don’t have, we continue feeling we don’t.
When we feel we don’t have what we want, we seek and find what we believe is true.

If this seems confusing to the EGO mind, it is.
The EGO (Edging God Out) has control of our emotional state and the thoughts we think.
When we trust our ego’s feeling and thoughts, we are often consumed with seeking.
When we believe our ego’s judgment of our condition, we may be depressed and resentful.

Can you see the unhappy merry-go-round of seeking and not finding?
Or we may seek, find and then lose what we seek, depending on circumstances?
Do you recognize how conditioned we are to depend on the world or someone to provide?
Are you dependent on others for your happiness, inner peace, Love and appreciation?

Are you willing to be free of dependency?
Are you willing to be responsible for your own state of mind?
Are you willing to choose the way you prefer to live?
Are you willing value what is valuable to you, no matter what?

When we choose to be happy, we are.
When we choose to be at peace, we find inner peace within.
When we honestly love our whole self unconditionally, we find unconditional Love.
When we respect and appreciate ourselves, we treat ourselves and others with respect and appreciation.

It is true that what we believe we lack, we learn to seek from others and our world.
It is true that children learn to get Love and appreciation by living others values.
It is true that when we get caught in the world of fear, chaos and drama, we lose our own Truth.
It is true that when we deny our own happiness, we think we can find it outside ourselves.

It takes courage to step away from the world’s teachings.
It takes willingness to let go of familiar excuses.
It take forgiveness to undo and erase the guilt and blame we feel.
It takes honesty to take full responsibility for our own happiness, peace of mind, respect and appreciation.

Forgive your expectations and dependence on others.
Recognize that others can only give what they have given themselves.
Choose peace and happiness for yourself as you respect and honor your values.
Learn to Love each one as you love yourself.

Loving you,

¤      I love you      ¤
and I know you love me too.

LOVE IS FREEDOM
The freedom for you and I to be who we are.
The freedom to live life as we do.
The freedom to make mistakes and learn from them.
The freedom to express our own truth as we see it.

LOVE IS TRUST
The trust that there is a constant flow of love,
no matter what.
The trust that, in spite of life’s problems,
we believe in and support each other’s right
to live as we choose.
The trust that in adversity,
there is healing and learning and gifts of love.
The trust that under conflict and emotional expression,
there is love

I love you and I trust you.
I free you to be all you are.

 Do It Anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy it all overnight.
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.
