Giving Your Fair Share

(Notice: I didn’t say “Getting Your Fair Share”)

What is your fair share to give?
What is your fair share to contribute?
What is your fair share to do?
What is your fair share?

Most folks are not fulfilled, so they think in terms of what they want to get.
Many are looking at how little they can give in order to get more.
Often people believe life is for “getting” and do not see the need for “giving”.
When we forget that we are here to give, we lose power, happiness and prosperity.

When we live a spiritually and emotionally impoverished life, we feel needy.
When we are raised in a home or world where adults complain and fight, we feel needy.
When we are educated in a way that always demands more, we feel never good enough.
When we believe the world is our place to seek our fortune, we set out to get as much as we can.

Life often seems to be given to us or taken from us.
When have are given everything, we think it is our right to “get” and “take” from others.
When what we have is taken away, we think we have to keep what we have and hide it.
When we grow up in a family where everything is shared equally, we feel safe in sharing.

Consider first how to fulfill yourself, without needing to get anything from others.
Consider how to appreciate yourself for who you are and how you live.
Consider ways to be happy by sharing your happiness with those around you.
Consider how to use your time, talents and love in ways that bring you fulfillment.

We can deplete ourselves or complete ourselves in our daily lives.
We can despise it all or enjoy it all, and fill ourselves with despair or appreciation.
We can abuse what we have or use what we have, either wasting or valuing the Good.
We can stay needy and greedy or become giving and generous in how we live.

The choice is ours.
Everyday in the ways we utilize our energy.
In every relationship we can be truly helpful or selfish.
We can feel appreciative and fulfilled with all we think and say and do.

Life can be fun, safe and easy.
Giving and Receiving can be fair.
When we realize we are giving to ourselves, we give with appreciation and joy.
When we fully appreciate and enjoy what we give, we experience prosperity, fulfillment and peace.

Life is for Giving.
You are the Gift.
It is in giving that you realize the Gift You Are.’
In Giving You fully appreciate All You Are and All You Give.

When we remember life is for giving, we not only give more, but receive more to give.
When you feel needy, try giving just a little more.
Give a smile, a kind word, and extra dollar in your tip.
Give a little more appreciation to everyone you encounter and notice how you feel.

When You Know You Are a Gift, you will always seek to give!
Loving you,
Betty Lue

Abundant Giving is Abundant Living!

The Gift You Are

You are the gift.
In your healing, I am healed.
In your smiling, I find joy.
In your learning, I am filled with wisdom.
In your free expressions, I am empowered.
In your abundance, I too prosper.
In your spontaneity, I am set free.
In your joy, I know heaven.

And so it is that you give your Self to me
And I receive you with love and gratitude.
I am the gift I give to You
And I fully receive the gift I freely give.

As I know You, I know my Self.
As I give to you, I receive all good.
As I support you, I am supported by the Universe.
As I honor and respect you, I experience gratitude in all my being.
As I love you, I am loving all of God's creation.

I know you and believe in you.
I honor, respect and support you in being.
In you and me is all the Universe.
We are gifts to one another.
