Roadblocks to Love

Often I focus on the positive and direct route to Love.
For some this may sound impossible or “airey-fairy”.
For others it is known and valued and simply a reminder.
And for others it is an eye-opener and an “aha” moment.

My morning talk at Unity Center for Inspired Living needs the basics of how we “inter-fear” with Love.
The roadblocks to Love are prevalent and accepted in our culture, on media and in everyday friendships.
Gossip, withholding, dishonesty, comparison, demanding, quitting, selfishness, defensiveness, blaming and distrust are a few of the usual and customary roadblocks to Love.

To talk about others behind their back is hurtful and destructive to all concerned.  (Speaker, listener and the one being talked about.) What we sow we reap. What we listen to, we give tacit encouragement.

When we give love, attention and appreciation intermittently, we teach others their behavior determines their worth. When we withhold love, we block the flow of love energy in us.  It is not helpful for either.

When we fib, lie or practice deception, we are teaching that lying is what we want.  Lies beget lies and we build relationships which cannot be trusted.  No one feels safe or at peace.

Judging, evaluating and comparing teach that we need to measure up to an external standard to be loved.
Everyone is unique with their own strengths, talents and natural gifts, their own purpose for being.

When we demand or threaten (“You better or else…”), we lead others to believe we are loving them based on our own conditions for right behavior and attitude.  We create separation and resistance.

To threaten to quit or to quit on loving, is dangerous and harmful to the quitter as much as the loser.  When we quit, we are reinforcing the belief others will quit on us, so we better be careful.

When we want things our way (“My way or the high way…”) or when we are only looking at our own interests, we cannot see the need for others to feel safe and loved to give their best.

To be vigilant for always protecting our own rightness, we shut own the possibility of learning, healing and interfere with the openness and appreciation through which Love flows.

When we blame, criticize, tattle on someone, we set them up because of our fears.  When we support, encourage, appreciate and keep confidence, we inspire trust and accountability. We are loving.

To do not trust others, we are teaching them not to trust themselves and not to trust us.
Trust builds trustworthiness. Trusting is based on believing and seeing what is possible.

While there are many more obstacles to Love, these are the ones often taught and found in our society.
If we even undo one of the roadblocks, more love can flow.  When we foster the flow of love, we will seek ways around the obstacles that may appear.
Loving is the way we create health, happiness and fulfillment.

Love is freedom from fear and trust in the Good.

Loving Us All as One,
Betty Lue

¤      I love you      ¤

and I know you love me too.

The freedom for you and I to be who we are.
The freedom to live life as we do.
The freedom to make mistakes and learn from them.
The freedom to express our own truth as we see it.

The trust that there is a constant flow of love,
no matter what.
The trust that, in spite of life’s problems,
we believe in and support each other’s right
to live as we choose.
The trust that in adversity,
there is healing and learning and gifts of love.
The trust that under conflict and emotional expression,
there is love

I love you and I trust you.
I free you to be all you are.

Finding Love

Destination: Love
Intention: Finding the Love You Seek
Itinerary: The High Way to Know Love and Be Love
Work: Be happy and free in Knowing and Being
Function: Remove all obstacles to the awareness of Love’s Presence.

What if we are already in the midst of Love?
What if we have been seeking for that which we have?
What if it is our self made blocks that keep us from experiencing Love?
What if we have been defining our own “form” of love and have missed the Truth of Love?

Is it possible that our sophisticated and adulterated thinking has created illusions about Love?
Could it be that we, individually and collectively, have been engaged in a massive deception?
Is there a way we can achieve the experience of perfect Love right now without needing anything?
Can it be that our “wanting” what we mistakenly believe we do not have has deluded our perception?

Love is energy, creative potential.
Love is beauty, harmony within the soul.
Love is joy, the natural joy of discovery.
Love is appreciation, savoring the riches of life itself.
Love is music, the dance of sensing the Goodness within.
Love is laughter, the delight of playing with what is around us.
Love is union, the holy instant of seeing within you a reflection of me.
Love is creativity, imagining the wonder of all living in harmony and peace.

Could it be we are seeking merely to erase all the roadblocks to Love?
Are we here to forgive and erase the fortress we have built against Love?
Is there a willingness to simply go for it and Love careless of our past wounds?
Can we give ourselves an opportunity to say “Yes” to all forms and energies of loving?

Long ago, after experiencing a pattern of betrayals, infidelity and lies, I made a decision!
I would rather love and lose than withhold my Love from anyone.
No one and nothing could stop me from loving.
I will no longer let fear build a barrier to Love.
I choose to love no matter what.
I will never quit on loving.

Love is always available when we open the flow and give love without ceasing.
Forgive yourself for withholding Love.
Forgive everyone for being afraid to Love.
Forgive the stories that remind us to be careful in Love.
Forgive the blocks you have made to stop you from living in Love.

Loving you in remembering Love is your natural state,
Betty Lue

The High Way to Love

The High Way is fun, safe and easy.
The High Way flows with effortlessness.
The High Way moves around and through obstacles.
The High Way never ends or quits.

When there are clogs or traffic jams or accidents on High Ways, we trust they will clear.
When there are delays due to weather, construction detours or rush hour traffic, we know it will open.
When there are new roads, city bypasses and bridges built, we adjust to changes in the flow.
The High Way system of love is ever-changing in form but always flowing with Love.

Life provides our inner Love system with opportunities to explore our own inner flow.
We have myriad opportunities for building bridges and bypasses when there are clogs.
We are offered the chance to notice where we send most of our love in one direction.
We can take responsibility for seeing where we have ignored a need for opening the flow.

High Ways to Love are filled with Trust.
Trust is the way we allow the current state to be noticed without fear or judgment.
Trust is the needed ingredient to address a blockage rather than dismiss the need for attention.
Trust is key to remembering the Source of Loving Solutions is always within us.

High Ways to Love require freedom.
Freedom of flow without excluding anyone is essential to ease of Loving.
Freedom to continue to do the best we know in our loving relationships no matter what seems to be.
Freedom is required to love without restriction or bottlenecks in the flow of love energy.

Discovering the High Way to Love requires that we get an overview or map of our love system.
Assessing where we need to build bridges invites us to look for where there are unserved people.
Where we are giving too much to some and too little to others shows where bypasses are needed.
Acknowledge that we must serve ourselves first by clearing the inner clogs and traffic jams of the heart.

To live in a high state of loving is like flying over the earth and blessing everyone everywhere.
To love without ceasing is like turning on the faucet of love and flowing endlessly always receiving.
To flow effortlessly requires a great maintenance plan of routine self Love and appreciation.
Moving around resistance, conflict and separation requires us to appreciate how Love always seeks to be given without invitation or restriction.

Learning to give Love, simply for the Joy of it, bring health, happiness and harmony.
May it be so.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

Always Loving You!

Are you always loving you?
Do you love yourself unconditionally?
Are you willing to accept yourself the way you are?
Are you trusting and believing in you everyday all the way?

Most have learned love needs to be earned.
Most believe love has implied conditions.
Most have experienced what appears to be the end of Love.
Most assume Love requires special relationships with special favors.

This form of human (egoic) loving is based on performance and preferences.
This feeling of love seems to change with moods, beliefs, history and chemistry.
This way of loving is uncertain and requires vigilance in how to get and maintain love.
This loving state is not natural but is conjured up based on the images of love from our past.

When we are caught in the web of Love, we try hard not to get hurt and to keep what feels good.
When we are in love with being loved, we often seek to hang on to the  high of  “in love” feelings.
When we are seeking the love we lost as children or  to get the love we deserve, we attach to wherever it seems to be found.
When we do not love ourselves, we work to get others to love us to make up for our lack of love.

How do we sustain that loving feeling?
How do we love ourselves unconditionally?
How do we not get hurt by others lack of love?
How do we pass the test of perfect peace in all relationships?

1)    Forgive everything and everyone for all time, including yourself.
2)    Give yourself impeccable care inside and out, mind, body and spirit.
3)    Listen within for “What is really best for me today?” and respond with willingness.
4)    Honor your whole life with all its seeming mistakes, highs and lows, all of it.
5)    Take responsibility happily for the life you have chosen and how you have experienced it.
6)    Be willing to own your values and live them openly in all circumstances .
7)    Trust your self and believe in yourself. Cast out fear and doubt.
8)    Choose to affirm in everyway your Goodness, your Wholeness and your Love.

Learning to let go of doubt, fear, comparison and self judgment is the key to consistent happiness.
Letting go of your judged history, limiting beliefs and the opinions of others is key to inner peace.
Realizing your unlimited potential and power to choose and be responsible is essential to security.
Creating your daily life and relationships to support the best in you is necessary to love you well.

Loving you consistently without conditions eliminates the dependence on others’ love and approval.
“I no longer need others approval.  I now approve of myself.
Trusting and Freeing yourself to choose what is best for you is best for everyone.
“I now can say “NO” without losing anyone’s love.”

You are Love ItSelf.
You are created by Love as Love for the Holy purpose of Loving.
When you remember this Truth consistently, you are happy and at peace.
When you forget and seek to get Love outside yourself, you may experience disappointment and conditional loving.

Loving you unconditionally as I love myself,
Betty Lue

Do It Anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy it all overnight.
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

Impressions and Perceptions

What is the impression you wish to leave your world?
How do you want people to see you?
What do you want people to believe about you?
How can you let others know what is true for you?

Is there a way to have no misunderstandings?
There is a way to influence others with your words, behaviors and most powerfully your thoughts.
There is no way to control others’ perception of our words, behavior and thoughts.
There is no way to prevent misunderstandings.

However there is a way to choose peace.
There is a way to simply observe what appears to be.
There is a way to forgive and undo our judgments of what is.
There is a way to let go of the negative and hurtful and perceive the underlying gifts of love.

There are impressions we want to leave with others.
These impressions are best given when we believe in ourselves.
The impressions we want to leave are an act of ego, personality and body language.
Like actors on the stage of life, we are all performing.

Act angry to cover our hurt and fear.
Act angry to keep others at bay.
Act angry to get what we want.
Act angry to let off withheld energies.

Act hurt and needy to attract caretakers.
Act small and fearful to get others to protect.
Act victimized and wounded to get sympathy and help.
Act incapable and disabled to get others to do it for us.

Act compassionate to feel connected.
Act compassionate to be trusted.
Act compassionate to be helpful.
Act compassionate to extend kindness.

Act defensive to protect vulnerability.
Act defensive to avoid seeing others perceptions.
Act defensive to perpetuate separateness.
Act defensive to maintain righteousness.

Every behavior will be interpreted by others through their own set of experiences and beliefs.
Every word will be heard through filters of fears, judgments, clouds of doubt and distortion.
Every thought is a picture of what is believed that we want to be perceived by others.
Every choice we make is an opportunity to take full responsibility for what we value.

Conscious choice is our power tool.
With clarity and communication we can choose to leave an impression that is certain.
With confusion and complexity, ambivalence and fear we will leave faulty impressions that are variable.
Choosing to live what we value with our words, attitude and activities is the most effective impression we can give.  ( However others may still have their own perceptions based on what is in their mind.)

Amazing at how we are unable to control other’s thoughts….but we can control our own!
Loving us all,

Betty Lue

Full Days

What do you do when life is full?
Do you get grouchy and tired?
Do you stop and breathe in energy?
Do you remember to be grateful?

What do you do when life is chanllenging?
Do you stop, look and listen?
Do you give yourself time outs?
Do you say a little prayer for guidance?

What do you do when life is a gold mine?
Do you take just what you need?
Do you share with those around you?
Do you give thanks and really enjoy the moment?

What do you do when you are amazed and amused?
Do you let yourself really appreciate the moment?
Do you take it all in with laughter and joy?
Do you deeply appreciate all of life’s gifts?

What do you do when there is a change in direction?
Do you adapt with patience and trust?
Do you ask and follow intuition and inner guidance?
Do you let yourself be curious and interested in what’s next?

What do you do when you are confused and conflicted?
Do you let yourself know that you don’t know?
Do you wait for clarity and focus?
Do you allow yourself to be still and open?

What do you do when you are lost and uncertain?
Do you be gentle with yourself as a loving parent with a child?
Do you be reassuring and kind in your inner thoughts?
Do you take the time to simply assess where you are?

Wherever you are and whatever you do, life is a learning and listening opportunity for you.
Wherever you go and whomever you are with, life is an experience of healing and gifts.
Whenever you remember to listen inside, you will hear your inner voice be happy with pride.
However you live and whatever you give, your life is an example of how the world can live.

We are a family of friends, spiritual companions on a journey together.
We are here to awaken and remind one another of what might be a better way to go.
We are gifts to our world, volunteers in service to healing and creating a new world.
We can let the past go, and live fully in the present, preparing the way for future generations.

Thank you for your willingness to join with me in this journey of Love,
Betty Lue

Tired and Happy!

Have you ever fatigued yourself doing good deeds for others?
Have you been blessed with opportunities to serve that serve you well?
Have you given yourself so much fun that you fell into bed smiling?
Have you had the privilege of being the caregiver for those who really appreciated your care?

Such is the gift of this week with our three grandchildren.
We have been spending one or two days/week with them since they were born.
And occasionally a weekend with one or two overnight in our home.
This last week (Wednesday AM until Tuesday AM (tomorrow), we have been with them fulltime.
(Mom and Dad are in Australia with friends in need.)

We have earned our grandparents badge of resilience, humor and creativity.
We have laughed at the amazing truths of awareness.
We have smiled at the touching love of siblings being helpful and sharing.
We have been stern about the brief flareups of disrespect and forgetfulness.

We have been grandparents.
Yes, there are always ideas about what you might do if you were the parents, but we are not.
There are possible ways we have implemented to make life easier for Mommy.
There are little teachings about Love and Kindness that are shared along the way.

Grandpa is the master of children working together and fixing things and being patient.
Grandma is the master of difficult moments, one on one special times and remembering what is needed.
Together we flow making the work mostly fun, safe and easy.
“United we stand. Divided we fall.”

Some underlying truths are:
Whether young or old, able or not, we all want to be happy, loving and safe.
We all want to know we will be forgiven and always loved even when we make mistakes.
We all need to have the rest and food and connection with loved ones in our lives.
We all need to learn and grow, heal and know we are trusted and believed in.

Questions for us all to be aware of at home, at work and in the world we live in:
What can I do to make the world a better place for everyone to feel safe, secure and happy?
What can I give to live a life which feels positive and powerful and good for myself and others?
Who can I be in this and each moment to feel fulfilled and successful  in all my relationships?
How can I best share my gifts and natural talents to be helpful and encouraging to others?

In our own way, we are all grandparents to those around us.
As business people, teachers, healers, in sales, farming, industry…wherever we are, we can teach and heal.
There is an attitude of forgiving and love that can flow through us on the highways and at work that can be more understanding while maintaining some sense of value and purpose, teaching by example.
There is a way we can step up to be fully responsible for the quality of life in our relationships that will benefit and lead the way for others.

You are the One to make the difference.
You don’t need agreement from those around you to give your best.
Trust that you alone by example is modeling and leading the way.
Live your values everyday with everyone and feel confident and happy.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

How Willing Are You?

Are you willing to have your life work?
Do you have what it takes to do the work to have your whole life work?

Are you willing to have your relationships work?
Are you up for changing your whole mind to undo what you don’t want to see?

Are you willing to change your attitude by changing your mind to change your experience?
Are you taking responsibility for erasing the past and choosing again for the Present?

Often in life we believe that we are victims of outer experiences.
We allow our thoughts to be programmed by popular belief and agreement.
We see the world as being the cause of our feelings and our current state.
We blame others for creating the conditions that make us mad, sad or glad.

In our unconsciousness and self made victimization we allow the externals to be cause.
We lack the willingness to take whole-hearted response ability for what we experience.

Enlightenment is changing our mind which changes our perception.
Rather than being victims, we see we can change our responses and change our reality.
Rather than seeking to get something from life, we see ourselves as giving what we want.
Rather than being separate from others and our situation, we see ourselves as contributors.

It is with respect that we will look again and see what is really calling for attenton.
It is our ability to respond with effective communication and demonstration that we find fulfillment.
It is when we cooperate with the specific circumstances that we can affect complete change.
Being willing to believe in ourselves and playing our part fully, we make a difference everywhere.

Learn from everything.
Listen deeply to everyone.
Be willing to seek for solutions that benefit all.
Give always and only the best you know.
Success and fulfillment will be your reward.

Life is our opportunity to create Goodness in our world when we are willing to respond with consciousness and Love.
 Betty Lue

 Sharing some other input.

From Unity’s Daily Word:  Unity is a New Thought Church and this is how that philosophy interprets Metaphysical Truth and stories in the Bible.

We may hear "I won't believe it until I see it," yet wise people know that we won't see it unless we first believe it.
The universal law of Divine Order holds that first there is Mind, then ideas flowing from Mind, then their expression in physical form.
Jesus used the law of divine order by mindfully asking, giving thanks with complete faith, and then receiving God's good. Divine order, ever-present and dependable, still works for me today.
Right now, whatever the desires of my heart, I believe I will receive them.
I give thanks with complete faith and trust and know that the powerful law of divine order is bringing abundant blessings into my life.
Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.--Mark 11:24

The Child In You

We are with our Alameda Grandchildren this week. (three curious, happy  and loving preschoolers)

Have you noticed there is a child in you?
Perhaps the innocent natural loving one who wants to run up to people and just give them big hugs….
Perhaps the rebellion curious and “getting in trouble” one who simply can’t handle following adult rules.
Perhaps the carefree expression one who simply wants to play and dance and sing and draw…

Do you ever look in the mirror and make faces at yourself?
Do you get dressed up and prance around like an actor on a stage?
Do you every say ”no” or argue with someone just to see what happens?
Do you make up imaginary friends or dream of living a whole different way?

How about just wanting a puppy or kitty to play with or sing to?
And have you ever wanted someone to rock you or snuggle with at night?
Do you ever get sick or get in trouble just to get some attention?
Or do you try really hard to be good and do things “right” to get some praise and extra love?

We all have an inner child.
Some have repressed it and act very “adult”.
Some adulterate our child and try hard to conform to our peers.
Some simply play the child with special people we trust will love us.

Consider loving all parts of you.
Consider being kind to others who act out their inner child.
Consider giving your respect and positive regard to the child in all of us.
Consider finding what is valuable and helpful in everyone’s behavior.

Give yourself extra positive regard and respect today.
Give yourself kindness and the tenderness of your loving self today.
Give yourself special time and attention today.
Respond to your inner needs which perhaps have gone unnoticed or dismissed.

Fill yourself up with the perfect unconditional love you deserve.
Fulfill your fantasies in ways that are helpful and don’t create negativity reactions.
Honor your own needs to fully actualize your Authentic  Self.
Love yourself everyday in the ways that inspire, encourage and support the Best in You.

Affirmations are a powerful tool to clear learned resistance, judgments and fears.
Affirmations written and spoken 20 or more times daily will clear our blocks to loving ourselves.
Affirmations are a technique used in many ways to free the mental garbage accumulated in life.
Affirmations are invaluable, but cost nothing.  They are a gift to give ourselves to awaken new life.

The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more I love, trust and respect others.
The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more others love, trust and respect me.
The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more others love, trust and respect themselves.
The more I love, trust and respect myself, the more others love, trust and respect others.

I highly recommend the above affirmations written and spoken, 20 times daily for 14 days.
These are initial affirmations to simply begin the process of mental clearing.
I will be happy to suggest others which may be helpful.
More power to you!

Loving you,

Betty Lue

Change Begins With You and Me

It is only ourselves we can change.
Change our mind and attitude.
Change our behavior and words.
Change our situation and life choices.

When we have relationships or experiences which are unacceptable or upsetting to us, we can seek change.  Most people try to change others with convincing, demanding, bribing, threatening and punishing.
Some fall into convincing ourselves, it doesn’t matter or we make excuses for others trying to let it go.
Few wake up to make new choices of taking impeccable care of the Best We Can Be.

Changing Ourselves makes remarkable changes in others with no explanation or justification.
Our consistency in our changes demonstrates our conscious intention to others.
When there is determination and persistence,  a confidence and certainty in our choices, others respond.
We cannot control how they will respond or adjust and they may tempt us to go back to the old ways.

Make the choices for change that will consistently support you in being your best self.
This is the key.
Choose a lifestyle that truly supports you in maintaining your very BEST every day!
Only you know what is really best for you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

What is your Best Self?
What do you need in order to be your best from morning to night?
Choose a life and a place where that works for you.
Choose a schedule, diet and activities that are best for you.

You can require that everyone be respectful to you., but first you must be respectful of yourself.
It is your life, your home, your work for which you are responsible.
You have both the right and the responsibility to take impeccable care of you!
When you are willing to be responsible for being healthy, happy and fulfilled, others will respond.

Respecting ourselves looks like we take care of our appearance and our health.
Respecting ourselves looks like we make choices in work, activities and relationship what are inspiring.
Respecting ourselves sounds like we are affirming and positive in how we talk to ourselves inside.
Respecting ourselves consists of developing healthy habits of mind, emotions and body.

Others in our lives are directly influenced by how we live and love and give to ourselves.
Others in our families are inspired or discouraged by our happiness or our complaints.
Others in our workplace are motivated or depressed by our success or our failures.
Others in our world are encouraged and facilitated by our impeccable and fulfilling life.

What will it take for you to begin to eliminate those inner and outer influences that distract You?
What do you need to do to clear your life of the attitudes and beliefs that victimize you?
What action can you take to change how you express yourself positively to others?
Are you willing to take full responsibility for making the changes in you which are best for you?

Loving you in the best ways I know,
Betty Lue

You Are A Flower in the Garden of Life

If you would grow to be your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing & punishing

For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is tough as war
Yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies
But we open fully only to warmth & light
And our need to grow is fragile as a fragrance
Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still

So accept, respect,
Attend your sensitivity

A flower
Cannot be opened
With a hammer

Be Responsible for Change

When in doubt, be grateful.
When afraid, be reassuring.
When angry, be compassionate.
When hurt, love yourself.

Too often we let our emotional and mental state be a stuck place where we wallow.
Too many times we express our feelings as though they are meant to be our leader.
Too frequently we give the excuse of disrespect and irresponsibility by naming our feelings.
If you don’t value what you feel, change it immediately!

If your thoughts are not helpful or healthy, stop and choose again.
If your feelings are hurtful or destructive, stop and choose again.
If your attitude is in a funk and your mouth is in the toilet, clean up before you engage with others.
If your behavior is disrespectful or attacking, put yourself in a “timeout” until you can apologize.

People learn from their family systems and role models how to manage their emotions.
Children learn from their parents what to repress and what to express.
Society has swung like a pendulum from repression and depression to “say it all.”
Media has encouraged the sensational, disrespectful and finger-pointing of disrespect and conflict.

It is bad manners to treat anyone with disrespect.
It is also ineffective and usually leads nowhere good.
It is immature to behave in ways which are accusatory and critical.
It lacks respect for oneself and usually yields overt or covert counter-attack.

When we accept responsibility for the quality of relationship we have at home and work, we begin to observe our own issues, attitudes, tone of communication, body language and overall method of treating others.
When we experience the quality of relationship we want (respect and cooperation), we know success.
When we are experiencing something less than the best, we must look within and choose again.

First, observe how you are treating yourself in  your thoughts, attitudes, words and behavior.
How you treat yourself is teaching others how to treat you.
Then notice how your engage and communicate with others.
Watch their reactions and responses to see whether they trust, love and respect you and themselves.

Life is a constant learning laboratory for studying our relationships and our impact on others.
Life offers us daily lessons and feedback on how successful we are.
When we are righteous, arrogant, resentful and demanding, others resist and resent us.
When we are open, appreciative, forgiving and flexible, others are receptive and respond to us.

Be grateful that you can change your mind, your attitude, your behavior and your emotions.
Be grateful that you get instant feedback on your approach to those with whom you relate.
Be grateful that you are at the helm of change and can practice daily being open to better ways.
Be appreciative that your love, respect and trust in yourself and others will yield success.

Loving us all in our learning and growth daily,
Betty Lue

Spiritualizing Your Life

Life in a body as a human on planet earth is not as easy as it used to be it seems.
Life in a home with a family and a job, educating our children and receiving health care is more difficult.
Life traveling by car, by public transit or feeling safe walking requires heightened awareness.
Life with fearful media messages, politics lacking ethics and intimate details of famous lives is troubling.

How do we live in this world, but not be hurt and frightened, shutdown and disenchanted by it all?
How do we practice daily forgiveness in a world that sometimes feels polluted with human garbage?
How do we stay in a place that feels alien to our need for safety, sacredness and inner peace?
How do we play the worldly game while wishing for a better way to live and to give our children?

Some choose a spiritual life.
Some take a path that includes living in an ashram or spiritual community or monastery.
Some choose to live in isolation in the woods or in another more peaceful and natural setting.
Some choose to block it out by maintaining a more transcendent state with meditation and spiritual focus.

I have chosen (somewhat unconsciously) to live a life in which I add spirituality to everything.
I have chosen to spiritualize my marriage, my home, my work, my health choices, my path.
Everyday, 24/7, I realize my healing and holy work is to give myself what I need to stay in LOVE.
I have given myself the responsibility of being responsible for all my relationships and life choices.

To spiritualize one’s life requires constant attention and intention.
It invites us to awaken each morning with the conscious choice to make each day Good.
Spiritualizing our lives asks that we devote ourselves to being our Best everyday with everyone.
Spiritualizing our lives insists that we erase, release and undo all that limits us from being happy and free.

No matter what the circumstance a spirit filled life is conscious, responsible and selective.
With every relationship we make specialness into holiness.
With every expenditure of money we require that the purchase be a blessing to all.
With every activity we assure ourselves that we are adding Goodness and Wholeness to our world.

Our expressions are ones of healing and helpfulness.
Our thoughts are those of Gratitude and Love.
Our activities bring ourselves and others happiness and greater peace.
Our lives are devoted to bringing Goodness and Beauty Peace and Harmony to our world.

Spiritualizing our lives requires that we be aware of our value as teacher, healer, counselor, minister.
Spiritualizing our lives honors that everything we think and say and do is a role model for others.
Spiritualizing our lives insists that we take total responsibility for how we respond to everyone.
Spiritualizing our lives requires that we begin and end our day with consciousness and gratitude.

There is no place where Love is not when we become aware.
There is no relationship in which Goodness is not possible when we remember.
There is no opportunity for greater Benefit and Blessings when we see ourselves as Giver.
There is nothing that is impossible when we know the Love we are and the Gift of Giving that Love.

Life has meaning and purpose when we live consciously.
Life has Goodness and Blessing when we give our very best.
Life had hope and joy and appreciation when we love being alive.
Our lives are a gift to Life Itself when we realize our purpose in Being.

Blessings of Joy,

Betty Lue

Trust in Love

God is Love.
Love is God.
God is the strength in which we can trust.
Love is the strength in which we can trust.

How can we trust in what is fallible and changing?
How can we believe we are not making a mistake?
How can we know what is for our Highest Good?
How can we begin to see the Best Outcome for All?

There must be a place we can surrender our own self-made fears and anxieties.
There must be a place we can rest and release our judgments and uncertainty.
We can find what is true and good, lasting and beneficial when we listen to the Voice for Love.
We can know what is real and valuable by letting go of our limiting beliefs and claiming the Truth within.

Take the time to find peace today.
Find it in your heart to love you well today.
Give those you love some open appreciation.
Be grateful for the life you have given yourself.

Then Let Go and Let Love and God shine through the clouds.
The world has weather…financial, emotional and relationship storms.
The psyche of each one of us is programmed to complain and be afraid or simply go on with natural ease.
Choosing how to respond is the key to peace within or pain and problems.

In what do you believe?
In what do you trust?
How do you restore your wholeness when you succumb to the world’s strife?
How do you reclaim the Love within You?

For me I must find my center, an inner balance point.
I must return to what I know and trust within.
I must fine the schedule, the spiritual routine that reminds me.
I must be grateful and return to Love.

Loving you in remembering,

Betty Lue

Remembering to Love

Do you know how best to love you?

Have you tried relaxing and enjoying life?
Have you taken a walk and breathed in the beauty?
Have you looked in the mirror and said “I love you.” from your heart?
Have you stopped reading, watching and listening to scary stuff?
Have you fed yourself with what nourishes your body with health and vitality?
Have you given yourself a daily dose of loving kindness?
Have you truly honored your inner voice by following a life that is fulfilling?

Do you know how best to love those in your family?

Have you changed complaining into complementing?
Have you been encouraging rather than disappointed?
Have you use gratitude to motivate rather than threats and anger?
Have you blessed your family with a beautiful, orderly and clean home?
Have prepared meals that are healthy and made them with love?
Have you fully listened to each one and honored their expression?
Have you given your very best without sacrifice or expectation?

Do you know how to give your best at work and in the community?

Have you been willing to volunteer to help others with time and money?
Have you been openly grateful for the many hours of energy others contribute?
Have you participated in the political process with enthusiasm for what you want?
Have you stopped blaming others and started contributing your vision, ideas and energy?
Have you shared your positive stories of love and faith and inspiration rather than gossip?
Have you picked up trash, planted flowers of blessing and appreciation and enjoyed each day?
Have you truly honored and respected your part and that of others in creating where you live?

Do you know how to give your best in the world and to your global family?

Have you remembered to extend peace to everyone everywhere?
Have you fully appreciated the privilege and responsibility of living on the bountiful mother Earth?
Have you stayed conscious of being a good steward of our sacred life-giving resources?
Have you modeled and taught others not to be wasteful or destructive of life’s essentials?
Have you been grateful for our ancestors and the ancient ones who strive to remind us?
Have you tended to world peace with your consciousness your words and your relationships?
Have you allowed your heart to open to the beauty and bounty everywhere present for our enjoyment?

Loving is a natural response to the gratitude and joy we feel in being alive.
Loving is an effortless way of flowing our energy and feeling fulfilled with meaning and purpose.
Loving is like breathing when we remove the obstacles and distractions of fear and need and greed.
Loving is life itself, Being fully and freely alive!

Loving you,

Betty Lue

Remembering Divine Love

Human Love seems to be seeking to heal everything that blocks our unconditional Loving.
Our unconscious patterns in relationships attract anything unresolved and unhealed in life.
We attract what we’re accustomed to…
Or we interpret others’ behaviors as being the same as in our family patterns….
Or we cause or create behaviors we are used to…..
Or we leave relationships which are too easy or good or those which don’t fit our patterns.

Human love is special, varies with our beliefs or attitude, quits or ends, judges and tries to change.
Human love is filled with emotional highs and lows, seeks what it wants and shuts down when hurt.
Human love knows separation, comparison, the uncertainty and threat of infidelity, death and divorce.
Human love is unpredictable, based on attraction, dramatic and emotional, and finds pleasure and pain.

So what other kinds of Love can we know in our lifetime.
Here to heal our unresolved blocks to Love, here to grow our trust in Love, here to know Real and lasting Love, we can remember Divine Love, God’s Love, Pure Love and Endless Love to be shared with all.
Rather than project our version of human Love onto God, we can discover the unconditional Love of God.

We are here to learn to Love as God loves.

Spiritual Love is equal.
Everyone is loved as they are simply because they are.
Everyone is special and given All.

Spiritual Love is forgiving.
Instantly the past is erased and the blessing of the Holiness of each one is known.
No matter what the mistake, the Truth remains.

Spiritual Love is unending.
Divine Love never quits or is withheld.
Divine Love continues no matter what the circumstances.

Spiritual Love trusts.
Divine Love sees the potential of each being.
Divine Love knows what we need to heal and learn.
Divine Love allows our mistakes and natural consequences of learning.

Spiritual Love allows.
Divine Love does not interfere with our learning and growth.
Divine Love sets us free to do as we journey through life.
Divine Love is continues without judgment or interference.

Spiritual Love flows.
Divine Love is our birthright.
Divine Love flows to us, from us and through us.
Divine Love holds no condemnation or blocks.

Spiritual Love guides.
Divine Love provides direction and focus.
Divine Love offers us guidance and vision.
Divine Love is available when we are open and willing to receive.

Spiritual Love never ends.
No matter what Divine Love never quits.
No matter what, wrong-doing, infidelity, divorce or death, Divine Love is constant.
Whether we separate ourselves, forsake Divine Love or simply deny our loveability, this Love Is.

Spiritual Love prevails.
Divine Love simply Is.
Everything else is illusion, made up and seeking to remember the Love that already and always Is.
We can compare, defend, judge and blame, feel guilty and ashamed, and Divine Love continues endlessly.

Let’s consider surrendering to the Love that Is within us, around us, flowing through us to All.
Let us dissolve our fear of loving and being Loved and simply Be the Love We Are.
Let us enjoy the flow of letting go and trust in the Love of God’s Goodness within.
Let us begin again and still again, by remembering to Love the Holy One in You and in me.

Loving you and all endlessly,
Betty Lue

Be Confident

Have faith in this:
You are a Being of Love, not of the world you see.
You are a Being of Light, not a creation of darkness and limitation.
You are a Being of the Infinite, not someone who can be defined and restricted.
You are a Being of Peace, not someone who is confused by conflicts and unending analysis.

Do not be confused by the world’s definitions of confidence.
Do not cling to the notion you are better than others.
Do not arm your self with achievements and awards to prove your Greatness.
Do not try to be perfect with no mistakes and limited learning opportunities.
Do not imagine that you can be certain of anything that will change over time.

Your confidence must be in the Truth of Who You Are.
Your assurance must rest in the eternal and unfailing.
Your trust must be place in the Essence of Goodness within you.
Your strength must rely on the Power of the Divine and Unending Love.

It seems that the world teaches to try to avoid or blot out all darkness.
Yet, what we focus on we strengthen in our attention to it.
It seems we can find the Light within simply by reminding ourselves.
We can polish our lighthouse, thus seeing and being only the Light within and outside.

It sounds like the world tempts us to be afraid and to be careful in our loving.
Yet, fear is the call for the very Love that dissolves all fear.
We can forgive the learned fearful thoughts and behaviors and choose to Love again.
We will build ourselves a fortress of unwavering Love in which we are at home.

It looks like the world would have us compete with money, prestige and worldly glory.
Yet, the real heroes, saints, teachers and healers are those who simply serve with compassion and kindness.
We can observe what teaches and touches us and open our hearts to live what inspires us.
We can be what we want to see in the world, for ourselves and future generations.

We can be confident that there is a Light and Love, the Essence of Goodness and God within us.
We can be confident that we are created by and for the living Love that awakens only Love in All.
We can be confident that no matter what the Goodness within will never dies and needs only our attention.
We can be confident that there is a Power and a Presence and Infinite Possibility within us.

You know there is a place in you, when all darkness and fear are erased, that we know only Perfect Love.
You know within you, there is a Goodness that cannot be forsaken without losing our way.
You know that the Creator has created in likeness and image all that is pure and whole and loving.
You know that you are loved and will never be condemned when you Love the One You Are.

Our true confidence and faith lies in Loving ourselves as we are love.
Let us today forgive anyway in which we have denied ourselves the Love and delight we seek!
Let us today remind ourselves our forgiveness and perfect Love must begin with ourselves.
Let us today restore our freedom and trust in the learning of our own sacred journey.

Loving You with a heart that sees Who You Really Are,
Betty Lue

Are You Open to Love?

One of the greatest human fears is to Love and be Loved.
(Can you believe it is not Public speaking?)
And Love is our natural state!
Love Is Who We Really Are!

Is it possible that when we are fully and freely open to Love that we are connected with God?
Think of God as our Love Source, our eternal and unending resource to everything Good!
Have you ever considered that by opening to loving and being loved we are returning to God?
Are you willing to imagine that when we are flowing only Love we are at One with all creation?

When there is no separation, there is no harm.
When there is only Love, there is no fear.
When there is Union with God within, we create only Goodness and Beauty and Wholeness.
When we experience the Good we create, we are at peace and happy with ourselves and our lives/

Life is moment by moment choosing to remember Love or feel separate and afraid.
Life is the opportunity to forgive and erase all fear and separation and reclaim connection.
Life is the joy of realizing that we are the Love we seek and we have the abundance we want.
Life is the fullness of  appreciation for the journey as we Trust in our Freedom to choose again.

Ahhh!  The sweetness of Love Itself…easy effortless and flowing naturally with no obstacles.
So why not Love, simply Love?
Why be afraid of the Truth of Who We Are?
Why not give All Good to Good and know only Love?

Are you afraid to fully Love YOU?
Are you holding judgments and past mistakes in your consciousness?
Are you unwilling to be at peace with your own remembering and forgetfulness?
Are you still seeking to become rather than erase all your beliefs that you are no Love ItSelf?

Know that somewhere within you, you are the child of pure Love and Goodness.
You are a perfect expression of the Source of all creation.
This Creation, by whatever name is unlimited and beautiful, purely loving and giving.
You are the same. It is our legacy and natural state to be everything that is our Source.

Listen within for your pure heart.
Listen within to the song of praise in you.
Listen within for the gift of your life.
Listen within for the Love You Are.

I remember and will not forget.
I know and will not stop reminding you.
I appreciate and will always Love you.
You are Love Itself, wholly a gift of Goodness and Love.

Celebrating you,

Betty Lue

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

 It makes no difference
how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.

How do you make decisions?
How did you see decisions made in your family of origin?
Are you clear confident and committed or confused, uncertain and ambivalent?
The energy around our decisions determines their outcome?

When making effective decisions, do you trust your intuition, your feelings, your logic or your gut?
Do you rely on other’s advice, opinions, stories and experiences or research of experts?
Do you give the power of decision-making over to others or take full responsibility for your own?
Do you blame yourself or others when your decisions have unhappy outcomes or feel like mistakes?

The past history of our decision-making of may set the tone of your future certainty and commitment.
When we are 100% confident, we experience a 100% outcome.
When we are ambivalent, we yield a mixed result.
The objective is to be clear confident and committed.

We will of course attract those opinions around us to express our unexpressed uncertainties.
We will get the validation that we know within ourselves.
We will believe what we want to believe when we have made up our minds.
We will naturally choose what we really want anyway, either taking full or partial responsibility.

Some suggestions:
When in doubt, wait until your are clear and confident to reap the most beneficial results.
Find some pertinent questions to ask yourself to determine what will yield the result you want.
·     Will this decision be best for all concerned?
·     Does this meet the values by which I live?
·     Do I really know what is best for me at this time?
·     Is this decision being made based on fear or on love?
·     If you were advising a dear friend, what would you ask?
·     What would you suggest or advise?
·     Is this a decision you would be proud of sharing with your children or your admired elders?

One powerful way of making decisions is to ask for guidance and listen within for what is truly for the best.
When the decision is made, give it to God, to Goodness for all.
Ask that everything your choose be used for the Good of all.

So often we get into arguments with our partners, children, parents and others about the decisions being made.
This it totally unnecessary when each person feels safe to acknowledge their preferences and the degree to which it matters to them.
It is easy to support those we love and respect when they really want or need something to be decided their way.  More on this later……

Loving and blessing us all in our wise, loving and respectful decision-making,

Healing Needs

I had three other topics in mind this AM in the shower, but alas this is the One being called forth.
There must be a need.

What is healing?
Where does healing come from?
How do we heal?
How can we facilitate others healing?

Healing is the return to our natural state of wholeness and inner peace.
Healing comes from remembering Love….remembering God….remembering our Source.
Wholeness is natural just as is Love our natural state.
However in this world we base most beliefs on the state of our body, our vehicle.

Right now many vehicles are being “recalled” for repair.
Sometimes our bodies seem to be in the need of repair.
When we can do the inner and outer work without anger and fear, repair seems easy.
When we are upset, frustrated and fearful, we step away from Love and God and inner peace.

Every person and situation is different and calls for a different response.
Sometimes beings are called to step away from their bodies, and move on.
Sometimes people have something to teach or learn from their experiences.
Sometimes we use our own creative mind to give ourselves an experience that we need.

Healing comes from within.
Inner peace that offers trust and faith in our healing.
Faith in God. Faith in our own healing potential.
Faith in our physicians or medicine.
Faith in whatever power we give to another.

Be comforted and know that where there is peace, there is healing.
Where there is peace, there is Love.
Where there is peace, there is rest.
Where there is peace, there is the remembrance of Who and whose we really are.

When we offer healing to another, it is through the transmission of our peace and Love.
When we offer healing, we cast our worries and fears away (on God through prayer) and trust in the Highest Outcome.
When we offer healing to another, we visualize them healed and whole, at peace and loved.
When we offer healing, we allow another to make their own choices about what and how and when.

When we press for a specific outcome to meet our own needs, we are interfering with the natural life process and sacred journey in life.
When we pray, beg and bargain for the outcome we have in mind, we have not been trusting and freeing.
When we try to make things happen our way, we trying to avoid what we fear.
The work of the Healing Presence is to have no fear, to be at Peace, absolutely trusting all is well.

Where there are healing needs, do not worry or judge.
It interferes with peace and love.
Where there are healing needs, extend your support and comfort.
Allow the situation to be a lesson in loving for all concerned.

Trust that Love is enough.
Love given with trust and freedom, faith in the highest outcome.
Betty Lue
More ideas below for your consideration:

“Prayer For A Loved One”

Dear Heart,
I will not worry, fret or be unhappy over you.
I will not be anxious concerning you.
I will not be afraid for you.
I will not give up on you.
I will not blame, criticize or condemn you.
I will remember first, last and always that you are God’s child, that you have His Spirit in you.
I will trust this Spirit to take care of you, to be a light to your path, to provide for your needs.
I will think of you as always being surrounded by God’s loving Presence, enfolded in His protecting care, as kept safe and secure in Him.
I will be patient with you.
I will have confidence in you.
I will stand by you in faith, and bless you in my prayers, knowing that you are growing, knowing that you are finding the help you need, the love you need, the healing you need, the financial freedom you need.
I have only good feelings in my heart about you.
I am willing to let you live your life as you see fit.
Your way may not be my way, but I will trust the Spirit of God in you to show you the way of your highest Good.
God loves you and I love you!
I have confidence in you and I believe in you!!

When You Don’t Feel Good…….

What do you do?
The body is a barometer of what is needed physiologically and emotionally.
The mind is an indicator of what we believe and think and judge.
The emotions are an expression of our response to our thoughts.

Which comes first or second is not so important as how we manage them all.
I am not my body. I have a body to wear for this human experience.
I am not my mind. I have a mind (computer) with which to think, remember, imagine and evaluate.
I am not my emotions. I have feeling with which I can recognize the energy flow of my experience.

If I am not my body, mind and emotions, what am I?
I am the spirit, the creator, the decision maker behind the scenes.
I am the chooser, the responder, the willing One who can play victim or Creator.
I can believe I am at the effect of my body, mind and emotions or I can take responsibility.

When my body doesn’t feel good, I can have a loving response or a fearful reaction.
I can treat my body as does a loving mother or I can be frightened by its apparent symptoms.
I can have my list of home remedies designed to bring comfort and rest (inner peace is healing) or I can add all my learned fearful reactions and add to my mental and physical stress.
I can surrender to God and only Goodness, Wholeness and Love and respond with assurance and peace.

When my mind thinks crazy, unhappy or upsetting thoughts, I can buy into them or change them.
I can treat the fearful learned  beliefs of the world with seriousness and defensiveness or…..
I can forgive and erase the thoughts and the thinker behind the thoughts.
I can choose again to affirm that which I choose to hold in my mind and imagination.

When my emotions appear to be less that open and flowing, with frustration or fear, I can recognize the blocks to the flow of life energy.
When I feel bad or sad or mad, I can choose again for the feelings that make me feel glad.
When I have lost the willingness to change my emotions, I can seek for the idea that is holding me hostage and release that thought with one that is more helpful and kind.

I am the chooser.
I can choose judgment or forgiveness.
I can respond with fear or love.
I can be upset or peaceful.

When I don’t feel good, I am patient and kind.
I am respectful and responsive.
I am open and willing.
I am forgiving and listen within to choose again.

I am loving you everyday, because Love is my natural State and yours as well,
Betty Lue

Home Again

Can you imagine being at home wherever you go?
Can you get in touch with what would make that so?
Do you feel safe and at peace when you travel?
Do you give yourself loving and happy thoughts throughout the day?

I notice that familiarity is helpful because I know I will have what I need to prepare a meal or sit and read.
I notice that when changes occur, it is helpful to have some anchoring familiar stuff.
Regular routine, usual foods, taking time to appreciate, or just writing these loving reminders every day.
In the ever-changing world, there is a call for anchors, safe havens and home base.

When we are traveling from home to work, on vacation, changing habits or moving, it is essential to our inner peace to find a rhythm or comfort zone in which to rest or return when storms appear.
Where do you go when you are in doubt or questioning?
What do you do when your body needs a rest and renewal break from daily stresses?
How do you eat and sleep when you are traveling or in unfamiliar circumstances?

More than we know, we are creatures of habit who need some habits so we can simply flow.
More than we see, with the multidimensional world of kaleidoscopic changes, we need some stability.
More that we care, we have need of safe havens, sanctuaries, places of refuge and renewal.
Life asks much of us physically, mentally, spiritually and in all our relationships, so take the time.

Give yourself quiet time.
Give yourself methods of getting centered and grounded.
Establish habits and routines which are both stabilizing and natural.
Trust your own unique needs for  the familiar and comfortable.

I love to travel.
I love to come home.
I love to create diversity.
I love routine and schedule.

My life works because I create a balance that works for me.
When there is too much happening, I need to slow down and be comfortable.
When there is too little going on, I need activity and diversity to wake me up.
Do what you need to do to give yourself what is highest and best for you.

I am loving you and so glad to be home.

And already packing light for our trip to Australia in three weeks!
Loving you and me as we make our sacred journey through life as fun, safe and easy as can be!

Giving Love Is Living Love

Spirit Self = authentic natural trusting and free Self
Life is for Giving!
You are the Gift!
When you are giving your self fully and freely, there is a realization of the infinite gifts of Love within.

Your natural innocent Self is pure energy, free flowing Love, being given and received effortlessly.
In the flow of life, when you know Love is your natural state, anything unlike love is an error.
When we remember being Love, we experience that Joy and Peace and Abundance are natural as well.
The Joy of life is truly being fully Who We are with no withholds, fear or regret.

Ego self = false learned fearful self
Life is for Getting!
You are not enough.
You need another to give you the love you need, because without another’s love you are not complete.

Love is letting go of fear.
Love is trusting that there is endless Love within.
Love is freeing oneself to simply live in a naturally loving state.
Love is giving all you are to all.

Giving love is giving not with things or sacrifice, but with a natural flow of what is eternal.
Giving Love is extending peace.
Giving Love is sharing happiness.
Giving Love is trusting in the natural flow of life.

Giving Love is not a barter to be measured and evaluated.
Giving Love is not a score to be compared with what others may give and receive.
Giving Love is not an out-picturing of our past in an effort to recreate or avoid what was.
Giving Love is not an endless give away to those who have less to fill the emptying bucket.

Giving Love is living.
Giving Love is as natural as breathing.
Giving Love is responding to whatever comes in the natural way.
Giving Love is listening within to give whatever will be truly helpful.

Giving Love is our holy healing purpose.
Giving Love is contributing with gratitude.
Giving Love is awakening to each new day with full appreciation.
Giving Love is honoring everyone you meet along life’s way.

When we are feeling bereft and needy, we look for someone externally to fill our cup.
But always we need only to prime the pump, by allowing a little to flow in before we can give again.
When we have given away what we have, and need to get to give again, we were mistaken.
Giving must be received by the giver, so there is no “giving away”, sacrifice or martydom.

When we recognize, all that we give is a gift to ourselves, there will be no loss.
When we remember, we are merely flowing from the infinite resource within, we will never be empty.
When we offer that which we have, we receive ever more to be shared.
When we live a life of loving, there is pure joy everyday.

Loving you and me as One,

What is Your Holy Purpose?

Why are you on the planet?
Why did you show up for this life time?
What is your contribution and for whom?
How are you to live and give your God-given gifts?

What is your healing purpose?
Where are you needed and wanted?
Where are you called to live and give?
With whom are you to relate and how?

Your life matters.
You are here to make a difference.
Your service touches lives and teaches values.
Your creations inspire hearts and minds to create.

Wherever we are offering prayers, we heal.
Wherever we say kind words of love, we heal.
Whenever we stay in trust with Good, we heal.
Whenever we forgive mistakes, we heal.

Whenever we clean up clutter, we heal.
Whenever we make beauty, we heal.
Whenever we plant in a garden, we heal.
When we fully enjoy nature, we heal.

Whenever become aware of our breath, we heal.
Whenever we cook with love, we heal.
Whenever we speak from our heart, we heal.
Whenever we sing songs of praise, we heal.

Whenever we walk softly on the earth, we heal.
Whenever we watch the sun go down , we heal.
Whenever we say, “I love you.”, we heal.
Whenever we remember our ancestors, we heal.

When we respect our lives and our selves, we heal.
When we value the Good we have, we heal.
When we live life as though it mattered, we heal.
When we encourage the best in everyone, we heal.

Yes, your life has a healing and holy purpose.
Yes, you too are making a difference.
Yes, everything you think and do and say is a healing.
Yes, changing your focus to healing is all that is asked.

I am loving you and encouraging your healing and holy purpose,
Betty Lue

What is Bugging You?

“A mote in your eye?”
“ Thorn in your side?”
“A growth needing removal?”
“A tooth causing pain?”

Signs of condemnation or a fearful unforgiven place in your psyche?
Everything is connected to everything in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realm.
All that we hold as pain and problem will be manifest in some form until we take full responsibility.
Being “able to respond” in a loving and healing way heals the pain and the apparent problem.

Through my own experience, just now, I have asked what is the experience I am having?
I have chosen to listen both on the surface as to how to respond with conscious healing?
I have asked and listened deeply to be able to share with you as to the most conscious response.
Everything is connected to everything, with it all being an “on purpose” to wake up to what is.

With ordinary victimization consciousness, we fall prey to believing life happens to us.
In the world of form, we tend to take notice when there is an obstacle in the road of life.
As a being with a body, we often don’t pay attention until we have physical or financial pain.
And when we seek to get love, it is the lack of love that we notice.

It is the absence of wholeness or disease that we seem to value with our energy.
It is the tiniest interruption of our life energy flow that bugs us.
It is the momentary experience of pain that causes us to stop and think scary stuff.
It is the on tenth of one percent of our aliveness that seems to draw us into “FEAR”.

The stories we tell about our problems beget more stories and more problems.
The mistakes we make, our failings and our faults become the issue of our concerns.
The history we hold of our downfalls, struggles and hardships become our badge of courage.
The myth we carry that our lack, littleness and limitation comes from the lessons we need to learn.

It is time to put away these childish notions.
It is time to stop belittling our value and our potential.
It is time to forgive the errant teachings of our history.
It is time to take responsibility for our Power and Greatness.

How do we  undo what has never been true?
How do we stop pretending we are mistaken?
How do we own our wholeness and Goodness?
How do we step up and live our Truth?

Step out of our spiritual laziness.
Undo the truths of past generations.
Stop guilt and blame, all judgment of any kind.
Take the spiritual laxative of massive forgiveness.

Practice the 30 day diet for enlightenment below.
Consider continuing all day everyday.
Be responsible for it all by responding with awareness and Love.
You can change your life right now.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

In Paradise?

Wherever we are can be heaven or hell.
Whatever we experience is our choice.
However we believe is what we perceive.
Whomever we meet can be a holy encounter.

Yes, Hawaii is where we are now, on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Almost every year we bring a retreat group here to our Kona Coast condo.
The retreatants have departed and we have a few days without guests.
We can take some time to be still, listen and observe.

Why here? What about now? What have we learned?
Here in Hawaii, there are minimal distractions.
There are no complaints when you step into a warm, friendly happy place.
People can bring their past complaints and fears with them, if they wish.

With no place to go and nothing to do, there are only the thoughts we bring with us.
With freedom from schedule and obligation, there is the invitation to be honest with ourselves.
With everyone loving and no approval to seek, we simply are called to be true to oneself.
With life new each moment and freedom at hand, each day is a gift of love and  pure joy.

Paradise is found in freedom from fear.
Paradise is the place of perfect trust.
Paradise is the land of true love.
Paradise is wherever we live and give only gratitude and love.

Sometimes we fall in love to remember.
Sometimes we travel to beautiful places to remember.
Sometimes we experience a miracle to remember.
Sometimes we forgive the past to remember.

It is truly our choice to live in paradise or with struggle and sacrifice.
It is our decision to make, whether heaven or hell.
It is our experience we create with visions of happiness or pain.
It is our life to lead in openness and appreciation or contraction and judgment.

What a powerful place of realization… know I hold the key.
What a wonderful opportunity to be responsible….to choose paradise for me.
What a delightful movie to be created……tragedy, drama, comedy or enlightenment documentary.
What a grateful life in paradise for all to see.

Forgive, erase and release.
Choose again for today is yours.
