Thanks

Who to Thank?
How to Thank?
When to Thank?

Giving Thanks is a social art form that seems to have been undervalued and overlooked these days. Giving Thanks is often an afterthought for those who remember the rules of etiquette.
Giving Thanks may be expressed as a social requirement rather than an opportunity to celebrate.
Giving Thanks may be played as an unconscious habit or a sincere reminder of appreciation.

What Thanksgiving means and offers the Thanks Giver:
Giving Thanks is a great way to increase the Good in your life.
Giving Thanks requires no cost, but only gain.
Giving Thanks is an investment in your future.
Giving Thanks brings both receiver and giver happiness.

Giving Thanks expands our view of how prosperous life is.
Giving Thanks feels polite and respectful, kind and loving.
Giving Thanks teaches others by example.
Giving Thanks sets a positive tone for our relationships.

Giving Thanks is the best way to encourage positive change.
Giving Thanks is a positive habit to develop.
Giving Thanks opens the way to respectful and helpful relating.
Giving Thanks is a gift that truly keeps on Giving.

Renewing and Expanding Your Habits of gratitude.
Send thank you notes to everyone who extends a special courtesy or gift to you.
Say thank you for every act of helpfulness and kindness to family members.
Demonstrate and express appreciation in places of business, with smiles, tips and words.
Bring a small gift to your hostess for special visits or dinners.
Write notes after an especially helpful contact.
(Recently I was impressed by a note of thanks for interviewing a potential renter.)
Say ‘thank you’ to everyone who serves you, answers a question or need.
Write thanks to emails or requests.  ”Thanking You in advance.”
Say thanks to those at home who make meals, do dishes, laundry, cleaning, etc.
Say thanks to your children when they extend kindness or do as they are asked.
Say thanks to yourself for honoring your agreements and responsibilities.
Give thanks to Source, Power, God, Universe ad Mother Earth for the Goodness of Life.
Give thanks for each check that you receive.  Give thanks for paying each bill for the services you receive…..telephone, food, electricity, water and more.

When your attitude of gratitude is fully activated, you will notice how much your happiness and prosperity is increased.

Appreciation increases all that you value and remember to activate with gratitude.

Loving and valuing You,

Betty Lue
