Respect Differences

You are I are the same.
We are in this together.
So why the diversity of paths, purposes, personalities and beings?
What is there to learn and discern?

It is our intolerance of differences that causes war.
It is our misunderstanding of differences that cause cultural and religious hatred.
It is our lack of respect for differences that cause bullying and fighting.
It is our fear of differences that cause physical and emotional abuse and slander.

Reunion, founded in 1977, holds these purpose, precepts and principles.
Reunion Ministries is a nonprofit interfaith forum for global holistic spirituality, 1977.
Reunion offers freedom of choice and trust in the individual’s process to:
Awaken your Authentic Self,
Actualize your full potential,
Live in harmony with all life,
Experience health and happiness Now.
Reunion Precepts.
We are all spiritual beings.
All life is inter-connected.
Love is our natural state and the unifying force of creation.
Creating what is good, beautiful and whole is our calling.
Forgiveness, freedom from judgment and fear, brings healing and love.
Relationships offer awareness of blocks to love and healing needs.
We are here to learn and teach what we are learning.
We respect all People and honor all Paths.
We listen within and serve the Highest Good.

Look at the possibility that under all differences, there is the common desire to love and be loved.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs exists among all peoples and cultures.
We all have the need for safety and security, a place to belong and a way to achieve and grow.
We need to authenticate and actualize our reason for being, as we grow in integrity and maturity.
When these needs seem threatened or thwarted by differing mores, ethics or beliefs, we may react.
It is our misunderstanding and fear of differences that cause divorce, disease and death.

Think on this truth:
Love is the trust and freedom for each to play their unique part in the Divine Plan.
Consider that it is only with our diversity of gifts and talents that all bases are covered.
Our intolerance has kept society from effectively utilizing the wealth of skills and resources available.
When we recognize, respect and honor all beings, we will easily integrate them into a healthy society.

Look at those you most fear or misunderstand.
Make it your intention to learn from them and about them.
Drop your judgments and fears enough to recognize their needs and how best to be truly helpful.
Let go of the ways you separate yourself or avoid those who seem different than yourself.

Affirmations:
I am inspired by diversity in ideas, behaviors and life goals.
I no longer allow fear to prevent knowing and trusting those who are different.
I appreciate and enjoy all the ways I am unique.
As I allow myself to appreciate differences in people, I expand my ability to Love.

Betty Lue’s Mission:
I am the space of freedom and trust, where Love is remembered and Wholeness restored.
I am here to inspire, encourage and facilitate each individual in actualizing their potential.
“It is safe, fun and easy to be all you can be.”
Life fully and free from the Highest Good within expressing the Highest Truths you know.
In this you will find the Love that sets you free to be all that you are here to be.

Live true to the real you and set others free to do the same.
We find our Unlimited Self and lose limited self in the freedom to Love, Live, Create and Give.
Be all that you are today in everyway.

Loving our Unity in our diversity,
Betty Lue
“Our Greatest Fear”

Our greatest fear
is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light,
not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
“Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented and fabulous?”
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that others won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some of us,
it is in everyone,
and as we let our own light shine
we unconsciously give other people permission
to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear
our presence automatically liberates others.
