Authority Issue

Some believe humanity’s lack of faith is the ego’s resistance to authority.
Egos are afraid of and angry with authority figures.
Egos feel competitive with, judgmental of, often resist and resent authority.
So people ignore, defy, judge and persecute anyone or anything with more power.

Do you appreciate your teachers, leaders, ministers and parents?
Do you listen to and admire how much energy it takes to lead?
Do you teach and model respect for leadership and authority figures?
Do you defy, criticize and/or ignore those who are authorities in our society?

Do you respect your elders?
Do you treat your parents with kindness and understanding?
Do you condemn and scrutinize the leaders looking for mistake and flaws?
Do you recognize and value how important are the decision-makers, teachers, leaders, elders are.

Our rather immature and adolescent culture is often quick to judge and slow to appreciate.
Societal ignorance frequently sets up separation and rebellion again laws, rules, decisions of leaders.
Those who fear or feel inadequate usually hold conscious or unconscious resistance to those in authority.
Those who understand what it requires to lead, teach and inspire others value, admire and appreciate.

Authorities can, of course, be wrong or insensitive to individual needs and differences.
Leaders principle work is to oversee and serve all they lead with the best they know.
Teachers must teach the whole class and sometimes miss the specific needs of a few.
The mother of many children may seem to neglect or not have time for every child’s needs.

Often those who serve many forget themselves for the sake of the many.
Frequently there are the angry or sensitive few who want to take down their leaders.
Many who are here to lead may not be able to maintain leadership because of the nay-sayers.
Leadership is exhausting and inspiring, and also difficult and rewarding.

See if there is someone you have judged, ridiculed, hated or defied, who deserves your gratitude.
Right now in politics, rather than condemn, how about applauding those who serve?
Personally I help, encourage and support all teachers, leaders, preachers and authority figures.
I forgive myself for judging, comparing and thinking I know what their life must be.

I am truly grateful for those who have the courage, strength, inspiration and willingness to lead.
I trust that through our prayer and affirmation each leader will call on higher power for guidance.
I pray that those who serve are listening within so they can and will do the highest good for all.;
I appreciate and praise those who are willing to be truly helpful in all the ways they serve.

May we encourage the very best to be their very best in the highest service of all.
May our leaders, teachers, doctors and preachers be undistracted by the few who are afraid.
May we protect and provide consideration, respect, appreciation and spiritual guidance for them.
May we love and care for those who love and care for us.

Profound blessings of gratitude and respect for all,
Betty Lue
Bottom Line from Divine Truth

Your essence is enough. Your presence is enough.
Yet it appears that we live in a world that requires that we do things just to survive. How do you live with that paradox?

When you operate from the basic structure of your own Divine essence and allow what is natural for that essence to emerge (as guided by your spirit), many new possibilities become available. There is an opportunity to experience being filled with the ecstasy of your spirit and the wonder of the Divine Plan.

This requires a basic surrendering of everything you think you know better than your spirit. When you operate from the premise that “Spirit knows best”, new pathways are opened for Spirit to use. Sometimes the requests of Spirit will go against everything you think you know is the “right” way. The emotional body says “no” because it doesn’t feel good. The mental body says, “No, this is not the way I see things.” The physical body fears being hurt.

When you realize it is time to surrender all that you think you know or that you think should be, there is an opportunity for Spirit to reveal more of your Divine Design and the Divine Plan for your life. The openness to jump into the void with Spirit requires that you surrender all personal sire and that you come to the place of knowing that everything serves the Divine Plan. This is an act of Faith. Faith is confidence in your spirit, no matter what the appearance or circumstance.

When the fundamental choice of Spirit takes precedence over all personal desire and will, you operate in a reality based wholly in Grace and Faith. Spirit can then use you in ways that were not possible before.

The bottom line for most beings is that they are here to serve. Some people are very attached to the way they think they will serve. There is spiritual idealism based on the distortions of third-dimensional reality. How could one truly know what the Divine Plan is for their lives if they continue to hold onto what they want it to be? Unless everything is surrendered into the hands of Spirit, you really cannot know anything of real significance. All the rest is just another version of a small story reality based in survival and fear.
