Where Do You Place Your Attention?

Do you give to what you want to grow?
Do you give to those who give to you?
Do you give to what really inspires you?
Do you give to strength and goodness?

Do you pay attention to what you want to diminish?
Do you give to those who need you?
Do you give to what depresses you?
Do you give to weakness and mistakes?

Where we give our time, money, energy we are feeding and encouraging.
Where we place our focus with worry,  fear and concern we are fueling.
Where we feel sorry, regret and resentment we are attached and encouraging.
Where we feed the lack without teaching principles of healing and empowerment, we defeat our purpose.

When you want flowers to grow, feed, water and enjoy them.
When you want honesty and generosity to flourish, notice and receive with appreciation.
When you want people to be responsible, acknowledge their willingness to be responsible.
When you want support, receive and value the support you receive.

When we complain, we give areas of complaint attention and they increase.
When we worry, we are giving our fearful thoughts power and they create.
When we take for granted or ignore the good in our lives, it diminishes.
When we judge what is given, we limit the likelihood of receiving more.

If life is not meeting your expectations, visions or desires, consider changing your focus.
If you are not receiving what you really want, consider giving to yourself and others what you want.
If you are not treated with the respect and appreciation you deserve, treat yourself with respect.
If you are worried about future disaster, place your attention of the present blessings.

We can all do more to refocus our thoughts, words and actions on what we choose to increase.
We can all affirm more with affirmation and gratitude the bountiful blessings we no enjoy.
We can all choose more to live and give our love, respect and trust to those we encounter.
We can all treat ourselves and others with more consciousness and validation of our uniqueness.

I am willing to place my attention on the Good I see in you and me.
I am willing to open my heart and mind to being kind and affirming kindness in my world.
I am willing to give to what fills me with joy and inspires me to give more of Who I Am.
I am willing to be all I can be and see in others always the very best, as I release the rest.

Loving you for loving you and loving me in loving me,
Blessed be.
