What Do You Do When Plans Change?

Are you flexible?
Are you willing to laugh?
Do you stay open to what is present?
Can you adjust without resistance or worry?

We are on vacation, taking a six day sabbatical.
Our intention was to spend time in San Diego on a houseboat.
We always make loose plans, because circumstances often change.
So they did and we adjusted quickly and easily.

Short story:
After a rather sleepless night with the sewage smell in our houseboat,
we decided to check out and return home to a place of peace and beauty, ease and joy.
The vacation timeshare took care of us.
Southwest Airlines took care of us.
Trader Joe’s took back our unused groceries.
And our home always provides sanctuary and renewal for us.

We are using our time to create goodness, beauty and wholeness.
We feel blessed and are doing little things more leisurely.
We are planning and shopping for the renewal and preparation of the Reunion Lake House.
We are creating from a place of joy and love and gratitude.

Where there is forgiveness, there is instant letting go.
Where there is letting go, there is perfect trust.
Where there is perfect trust, there is listening within.
Where there is listening within, there is guidance and inner peace.

And so it is that we have enjoyed our holidays (Holy days).
And yes, we have accomplished designing and purchase of paint and carpet, furnishings and drapes, bathroom vanities, doors, etc all with laughter and ease .
We are creating a retreat home for all who seek to renew themselves with joy and inner peace.
We are offering a gift of Love to our churches, Unity and Reunion, our friends, students and families.

Yes, this is the space we have held in our visioning for many years, looking in Oregon and N. Calif.
It is two hours from the Bay Area and our Rio Vista home.
It offers the serenity of nature and has many parks and trails to hike.
The community of Hidden Valley Lakes has both year round residents and vacationers.
The local area has many different cultures all blended together, so is truly friendly and helpful.
The pace is slower with people looking out for one another.
The natural beauty is awesome and inspiring.
The Reunion Lake House has a beautiful vista overlooking the lake.
We are within a short walk of the “little beach” with a kids playground and picnic area.
The yard will be easy to clean up and plant more beauty.
I am creating a Zen meditation garden with fountain in the front yard.
There will be play areas in the back yard.
Sleeping space for many in the house and the community has its own campground.
Lots of amenities, pool, tennis, golf, etc. Fun for all ages.
Lots of organic produce and products in the Middletown grocery store.

Notice that I am enthused about getting the Lake House ready for you to visit.
I love to create sacred spaces for all to enjoy and remember the Love and Wisdom within.

Blessings to us all as we remember:
“Everything always works more exquisitely than we can plan!”
